    Part I.
Since the Bible teaches life's greatest truths, in order to prioritize reading the Bible daily, I can give 30 mins a day reading it. Currently, the verse that speaks to me in my current struggle is Matthew 7:15. Truly, the Bible gives peace in every situation. To apply biblical wisdom in my studies and relationships, I can adhere to Psalms 119:105 and seek wisdom and guidance in a prayer so I can navigate my studies and relationships more effectively.
    Part II.
God's wisdom is greater than human wisdom because he is all-knowing. Also, comparing the wisdom of a creator and his creation is like comparing an ant and its anthill: it doesn't make sense. Since it's greater than human wisdom, I as a student can apply it to my studies and decision-making by reading the Bible daily.

The Bible helps make wise choices in school and life through providing life insights that are beyond the student's understanding. I remember when I was in ninth grade, the verse Jeremiah 1:12 was my guide throughout difficult times.

To rely on God during times of stress and challenges, students can pray, read, and meditate the Bible. To a believer, the scriptures are God's word and breath so it is very peace inducing.

A student's character can be molded continuously, so the Bible helps mold it in the right path. Since the Bible is beyond human knowledge, it's important to prioritize it when needing guidance.

The Bible reveals the way to eternal life through John 3:16. By reading and meditating the Bible, students can grow their faith in our savior Jesus Christ.

Like what Proverbs 27:14, students should share the Word of God with their friends and classmates through a soft voice with great timing. It's important to defend their faith because 1 Peter 3:15 says to always be prepared to defend gently and with respect.

As a student, I often find myself overwhelmed by responsibilities such as deadlines, exams, decisions about my future, and even personal struggles. But through this devotional, I was reminded that I don’t have to face these challenges alone. The Bible is more than just a book. It’s my guide, my source of wisdom, and my greatest tool for navigating life.

In Part 1, I was struck by how God’s Word serves different purposes in my life. It provides wisdom beyond what any textbook can offer, helps me make better decisions, strengthens me in stressful times, and prepares me for a purposeful life. One verse that stood out to me was Psalm 119:105, which says, "Thy word is a lamp unto my feet, and a light unto my path." Sometimes, I feel lost and unsure of which direction to take, but this verse reassures me that God’s Word will always lead me in the right direction if I choose to follow it.

Part 2 made me reflect even more deeply on the role of the Bible in shaping my faith and character. It reminded me that true wisdom comes from God, not just from academic knowledge. I also realized that when life feels uncertain, I should turn to Proverbs 3:5-6: "Trust in the Lord with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths." It’s a reminder that even when I don’t have all the answers, God does.

Another powerful lesson was about sharing my faith with others. As a student, I often focus on my own personal growth, but this devotional challenged me to think about how I can share God’s Word with my friends and classmates. Matthew 28:19-20 reminds me of the importance of sharing my faith, not only by speaking about it but also by living in a way that reflects God’s Word.

This devotional encouraged me to commit to reading the Bible daily, applying its teachings, and sharing its wisdom with others. It made me reflect on the kind of student and believer I want to be, someone who not only seeks academic success but also spiritual growth. More than anything, it reminded me that no matter what struggles I face, God’s Word is always there to guide and strengthen me.

As a college student, I admit that there’s a lot of schoolwork that I have to finish in the right time. But, I will not allow myself to go a day without reading the Bible, even if it is just one verse. Therefore, even if it is only for 5 to 10 minutes before I sleep at night, I strive to read the Bible. It lightens my feelings and improves the way I look at life. I always keep on holding on and believe in this Bible verse Isaiah 41:10 “So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.” because whatever my current situation and struggle in life I am right now, that word of God keeps on telling me that by faith, He will protect and help me. I apply biblical wisdom in my studies and relationships by always willing to learn and grow, being patience, and forever loving God and people that surround me.

    Part 2
The wisdom from God is greater than human wisdom because it is the truth, it is eternal, and alive. While human wisdom is limited and temporary. Proverbs 3:5-6 said "Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to him, and he will make your paths straight." As a student, I apply biblical wisdom in my studies and decision-making by always asking first for His guidance. I always pray that He guides me and gives me enough knowledge and wisdom that I need to understand.

The Bible will help not just students but all of us to make wise decisions in school and personal life because it serves as our manual of life. It will guide us to see the truth, and what is right and wrong. I remember when I felt so pressured because I didn't overcome one of the hardest group projects in school. Before, I was so down and I didn't know what I should do. I open my Bible book and read it. After that, I realized that everything that happens in our life has a reason and God wants us to teach lessons and for us to learn something.

As a student, it is really hard for me when the examination is coming and group project activities and deadlines are approaching. When I feel stress, I seek God's word because it serves as my comfort and motivates me to continue living with faith. By focusing on God's truth rather than life's challenges, meditation on God's Word enables us to experience calm, strength, and spiritual relief.

Reading and following the Bible helps the students to become faithful, which changes them into good character. It teaches students to make wise choices in school and life. It is important to prioritize the Word of God over worldly influences because Isaiah 40:8 said "The grass withers, the flower fades, but the word of our God stands forever."

Jesus said He is the only way to eternal life and the truth (John 14:6 "Jesus answered, 'I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.”). There are simple things that we can do to grow our faith through the Bible. By reading it, praying daily, obeying God’s word, and sharing the word of God to many people.

Students can share the word of God with others through word, and actions. By respecting each other, supporting, and loving everyone are some of the simple actions that we can do to share the word of God to others. Having bible study and sharing testimony is also possible to share the word of God. It is important for students to be prepared to defend their faith for them to become strong because our world is getting weak. Who has faith in God, can make the world become strong again. Love unconditionally, like Jesus.

Part I. The Bible has become one of my greatest tools as a student, providing me with wisdom and guidance in many areas of my life. Psalm 119:105 says, “Your word is a lamp to my feet and a light to my path.” As a student, I think this verse shows me that the Bible is like a light that helps me see clearly, especially when things feel hard, when I'm dealing with schoolwork or facing tough decisions, friendship or my future, I know that the Bible can help me fine the right direction.

Part II. Human wisdom can help us in some situations, but it can also fail when we face something new or difficult. God’s wisdom is always reliable, and it works in every situation. He knows what’s best for us and gives us.

The Bible teaches me that I should work hard and do my best in everything I do. In Colossians 3:23, it says, "Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart," so I make sure to put in my best effort when it comes to homework, studying, and school projects.

The Bible helps me make wise choices by teaching me important lessons that guide my decisions

When I face stress or challenges, I can rely on God’s Word to give me peace, strength, and guidance. The Bible teaches that we don’t have to face difficulties alone.

Prioritizing the word of God over worldly influence is important because God's word provides lasting truth and guidance that leads to a meaningful life.

    Part 1

Currently, the verse that speaks to me in my current struggle is Psalms 119:9. Recently, I have been struggling with making decisions in both my personal life and studies. No matter the choice, I often feel uncertain or dissatisfied, even with the simplest ones. I tend to overthink every possible outcome, yet the results rarely meet my expectations. This ongoing struggle has left me drained and unsure of how to move forward. Because of this, I sometimes rely on others’ decisions instead of making my own, fearing that my choices will only lead to disappointment.
However, to overcome this struggle, I prioritize reading the Bible during my quiet time. I write down all my difficult decisions, seeking guidance, wisdom, and peace from Him. To apply biblical wisdom, I hold on to Proverbs 3:5-6, which reminds us to trust in the Lord and not rely solely on our own understanding
    Part 2

God’s wisdom is superior to human wisdom because it is everlasting and constant, whereas human wisdom is only temporary. 1 Corinthians 1:25 says, 'This foolish plan of God is wiser than the wisest of human plans, and God’s weakness is stronger than the greatest of human strength.' As a student, I apply biblical wisdom to my studies and decision-making by always believing in Him, for with His word, nothing is impossible.

The Bible serves as our manual. As a student, I read His Word to clear my mind and start my day with gratitude. Through this, I can make wise choices in whatever I do or say. Psalm 46:5 says, 'God is within her; she will not fall.' This verse serves as my foundation whenever I feel down, reminding me that I am never alone. No matter how difficult life gets, I find strength in knowing that God is always by my side, guiding and uplifting me. Because of this, I have become more independent and stronger, trusting in His presence rather than relying on my own strength. Even in moments of doubt and weakness, I hold onto this promise, knowing that with God within me, I can overcome any challenge and move forward with faith and confidence.

I often experience stress from academic pressure, personal struggles, and uncertainties about the future. However, God’s Word offers strength, wisdom, and peace, providing a firm foundation to rely on. When we meditate on His Word, our worries fade as we focus on His eternal truth.

I believe that reading the Bible not only transforms our actions but also nurtures our spiritual life. It shapes our character, strengthens our faith, and deepens our relationship with God. Through His Word, we gain wisdom, peace, and guidance, allowing us to grow spiritually and reflect His love in our daily lives. True beauty comes not just from external appearances but from a heart that is rooted in God's truth and righteousness.

The Bible clearly teaches that Jesus Christ is the only way to eternal life. John 14:6 says “Jesus told him, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one can come to the father except through me”. To grow our faith just make time to read the scriptures.

A great way to introduce friends or classmates to God’s Word is by inviting them to church. I remember when someone introduced me to Destiny Church, which played a significant role in restoring my faith. Through their guidance and encouragement, I was reminded of God’s love and grace, leading me to praise and worship Him wholeheartedly. It became a turning point in my spiritual journey, strengthening my relationship with God and deepening my desire to grow in faith.

It is very important to read or listen to the letter of the Lord because it is the inspiration of all, now especially for students like me, just like in school, there is so much pressure and disappointment and stress in activities and projects but I never give up because someone encourages me but the Lord guides me and says that everything we do has a purpose. (PSALM 119:105) " Thy word is a lamp unto my feet, and a light on my path". For me as a student, even if you stumble even if you get caught, the Lord will tell you to stand up because it has a purpose and you can reach it too.

    part 2
The wisdom from God is the best than human wisdom. Because he knows everything but we humans make our decisions in what we do but the Lord knows immediately what will happen to us even before we do it. As a student, I first think carefully about my decision whether what I am doing is right or not. But sometimes I can't make a decision on my own if I know better what I'm listening to is right.

As a student the bible or the word of God helps me in my studies. Because I can't be strong without the Lord guiding me and of course my family on a daily basis they are my strength and inspiration in everything.

My guides in my decision making are (MATTHEW 21:22) and "if you believe, you will receive what ever you ask in prayers. ( JEREMIAH 29:12) " For I know the plans I have for you," declares the LORD" plans to prosper you and not to harm you plans to give you hope and a future " for me as a student for my decision making join your prayers because you and you alone will help yourself in the end. Don't listen to the negative words you hear from people who hate you. Believe in yourself because they are not always on your side.

As a student I am facing struggles, stress and disappointments now but I am strengthening my heart because I will also be the only one who will struggle in the end if I give in to my emotions, but all of that is the Lord who will make a way to alleviate all and end the problems.

Reflecting on the discussion, I realize that daily Bible reading can be prioritized by setting aside specific moments, like during morning devotions or before bed. Prioritize reading the Bible daily, I recognize the importance of creating a consistent habit, such as reading a verse each morning to start the day. The Bible's wisdom provides a deeper understanding that goes beyond the academic knowledge I gain in school, guiding me toward true success through God's will. Philippians 4:6-7 offers peace when life feels overwhelming, it remind me to seek God's guidance through prayer for strength and calm during stressful times. Additionally, Joshua 1:8 teaches me that success isn't just about tangible achievements but about living in accordance with God's purpose for my life. I can apply biblical wisdom in my studies by staying focused, and doing my best for God, while showing love, and respect in my relationships with others. Applying biblical wisdom not only helps me grow as a student but also equips me to navigate relationships with patience, love, and understanding.

    Part 2
Reflecting on the importance of the Bible, I realize how essential it is in my journey as a student. I see how it provides wisdom, guidance, and strength for both my studies and life decisions. Proverbs 3:5-6 remind me to trust God and seek His direction, especially when we faced with difficult choices or problema. The Bible equips me not only for personal growth but also for sharing the hope I’ve found in Christ with others, fulfilling my calling to spread His message of love and salvation.
From the video that I watched, it says there "The Bible embodies all of the knowledge man needs to fill the longing of his soul and solve all of his problems" that means the Bible provides not only spiritual guidance but also practical wisdom that can address the deepest needs and struggles of our lives. By seeking its teachings, we can find peace, direction, and fulfillment that nothing else can offer.

  15. PART 1.
    1. How can I prioritize reading the Bible daily?
We are all given a fixed amount of time each day—24 hours. However, we often spend a significant portion of it on activities that do not add value to our lives, such as browsing social media, playing mobile games, or watching movies.

To prioritize reading the Bible, I must cultivate a conscious and intentional mindset, along with a spiritual commitment to making it a daily practice. To achieve this, I will always keep my Bible within reach. Placing it on my study table will serve as a constant reminder to read it. Additionally, I will download a Bible app so that I can access Scripture even when I am not at home.

    2. What verse speaks to my current struggles?
I believe Psalm 119:9 and Philippians 4:6-7 are the verses I relate to the most. Due to my lack of personal management and discipline, I often find myself rushing to complete all my pending tasks.

These verses remind me that I can become a better version of myself by aligning my decisions and actions with the Bible. I know there will be times of hardship and pain, but through God's words and wisdom, I can overcome them.

    3. How can I apply biblical wisdom in my studies and relationship?
I'm not sure why, but this question always lingers in my mind—a question that deeply examines my self-awareness and the way I perceive things and take action: "When will I truly enjoy what I am doing?"

I often do things not because I am passionate about them or love doing them, but out of fear—fear of making mistakes, fear of not doing my best, and fear of not meeting others' expectations.

However, I have come to realize that to answer this question, I must align my mindset with the goal of glorifying the Lord in everything I do. True joy and a deep sense of fulfillment can only be achieved through Christ.

    PART 2
    I.
    1. Why is wisdom from God greater than human wisdom?
As the saying goes, "A man who knows everything knows nothing." After reading the question, this quote was the first thing that came to my mind.

Oftentimes, we boast about ourselves, speaking and acting as if we are smarter and wiser than everyone else. We fill our minds with pride, which eventually turns into ego, and that, in turn, becomes the downfall of many.

God’s word is the ultimate truth, and we should place our trust in it. It provides us with wisdom for righteous living.

    2. How can students apply biblical apply biblical wisdom in thier studies and decision making?
First, I as a student must acquire wisdom from the Lord by reading the Bible. By doing so, it is as if I am equipping myself with the greatest truth, preparing me/us to face hardships and make wise decisions based on the Lord’s wisdom.

    II.
    1. How does the Bible help students make wise choices in school and personal life?
The Bible serve as the manual of life for everyone, and as a student bible greatly beneficial for my life as it provides the right wisdom for having meaningful living.

    2. Can you share a personal experience where a Bible verse guided your decision?

One of my experiences with the Bible is when I am anxious with all tasks and pending obligations but then I've read this bible verse Matthew 6:34, this verse aids me to be still and focus on what is happening in the present moment.

    IIl.
    1. How can students rely on God's Word when facing stress and challenges?
I believe our spiritual commitment, love, and trust in the Lord are the keys to overcoming any challenges we face in life. Without this foundation, we are like a house built on weak ground—easily destroyed by a subtle wind or earthquake.

    2. How does meditating on scripture bring peace to a believer?
I believe the promise of salvation by the lord is what brings peace to all believers. By engraving in our mind (subconscious mind) that the Lord will save us and provide everything that we need, it will bring great peace in our mind.

Reflecting on the discussion, I realize that prioritizing daily Bible reading requires a multifaceted approach. Scheduling a consistent time, even just 5-10 minutes, is crucial for establishing a habit (Proverbs 16:3: "Commit to the Lord whatever you do, and he will establish your plans"). Choosing an engaging reading plan chronological, topical, or devotional tailored to your learning style and interests keeps it from becoming a chore. Utilizing methods like journaling your reflections (Psalm 139:23-24: "Search me, God, and know my heart; test me and know my anxious thoughts. See if there is any offensive way in me, and lead me in the way everlasting.") or joining a Bible study group enhances engagement and provides accountability. Finally, focusing on consistency over quantity a short, focused reading is better than none is key to building a sustainable habit that truly nourishes your faith (Joshua 1:8: "Keep this Book of the Law always on your lips; meditate on it day and night, so that you may be careful to do everything written in it. Then you will be prosperous and successful.")

    part 2
Reflecting on the importance of the Bible reveals its multifaceted significance. For Christians, it's the inspired Word of God, offering divine guidance, moral instruction, and spiritual nourishment. It provides a historical narrative of God's relationship with humanity, revealing His character, promises, and plan for redemption. The Bible offers comfort, hope, and wisdom for navigating life's challenges, providing timeless principles applicable to every aspect of human experience. Its teachings shape personal values, beliefs, and actions, impacting individuals and communities alike. Ultimately, the Bible's enduring significance rests on its claim to be the inspired word of God, offering a pathway to understanding God and living a life of purpose and meaning.

As a devoted student, I aspire to enrich my spiritual journey by immersing myself in the divine wisdom of the Bible daily. To achieve this, I will designate sacred moments each day—be it at dawn’s first light or the tranquil hours before slumber—to delve into God’s Word and reflect upon its profound teachings. Incorporating technology, I plan to utilize Bible applications and set thoughtful reminders, ensuring that I remain steadfast in this practice. Maintaining a journal to capture insights and personal reflections will further deepen my connection to the scriptures. Engaging with a community of like-minded individuals through Bible study groups or sharing revelations with friends will provide mutual encouragement, fostering consistency and motivation in my spiritual odyssey.

    Part II

In moments of personal turmoil, I find solace in the timeless words of Philippians 4:6-7:

“Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds in Christ Jesus.”

This sacred passage gently reminds me to lay my burdens at the feet of the Almighty through earnest prayer, embracing His divine plan with unwavering trust. It offers the comforting assurance that, amidst life’s myriad challenges, the transcendent peace of God will envelop my heart and mind, providing guidance and fortitude.

By wholeheartedly embracing these practices, I endeavor to cultivate a life imbued with spiritual depth, resilience, and an intimate communion with the Divine.

Regardless of a busy schedule, I believe that as a student, I can prioritize reading God’s Word by managing my daily activities wisely. Though it may be challenging at first, I must remind myself everyday that the Scripture is my spiritual food. Keeping this in my mind will help me stay committed to my relationship with the Lord.

This season of my life, one of the passage that resonates with me can be found on Matthew 6:19-21, because lately, I've found myself prioritizing material and earthly possessions, often forgetting about my true purpose. This verse serves as a reminder to me to shift my focus on what truly matters.

With that, I can use biblical wisdom by committing my studies and my interactions with others to God. By approaching and seeing that my studies ain't all about personal responsibility but rather an act of worship. Instead of stressing over the results, I should focus on learning and growing with the right intentions.

In my relationship as well, I must learn to love others, even it is difficult, but reminding myself daily to prioritize understanding and empathy will help me.

By keeping God's Word at the center of my daily life both in my studies and relationships, I can grow spiritually and align my actions with His will.

  23. The statement "The Bible—A Student's Greatest Tool" is provocative and invites reflection on several levels. Its truth depends heavily on the student's goals and the way the Bible is approached.
On one hand, the Bible offers a wealth of resources invaluable to a student's development. It contains a vast library of literature spanning various genres: poetry, prose, history, law, philosophy, and prophecy. Engaging with these diverse texts can enhance critical thinking skills, improve literary analysis, and expand historical understanding. The Bible's exploration of complex human emotions, moral dilemmas, and existential questions provides ample material for philosophical reflection and debate. Furthermore, its narratives and parables offer powerful insights into human nature and societal dynamics, enriching sociological and psychological studies.

However, the claim that the Bible is the greatest tool requires careful consideration. Its status as a religious text means its interpretation is often subjective and influenced by personal beliefs. This can lead to bias and limit its objectivity as a source of knowledge in certain academic disciplines. Furthermore, the Bible's historical accuracy and scientific claims are frequently debated, making it a less reliable source for historical or scientific research compared to peer-reviewed scholarly works. Finally, a literal interpretation of the Bible can clash with modern scientific understanding and ethical frameworks.

Therefore, while the Bible can be a powerful tool for a student, particularly in fields like religious studies, literature, or theology, it's crucial to acknowledge its limitations and approach it critically. Its value as a "greatest tool" is relative and contingent upon the student's perspective and research methodology.

    Part I:

The question, "Lord, what is your promise after college life?" echoes in my heart as I navigate the demanding years of higher education. But the bible verse Psalms 119:105, enlightened me that the God's Word is my GPS – a light guiding my steps, even when the path ahead seems unclear. I know that God doesn’t want me to just sit down and relax. He wants me to be productive and purposeful while waiting. He asks me to use fully my time, talent, and treasure in Him. It is in this season, where I can know and obey Him wholeheartedly. Many times God will allow me to go through the wilderness before going to the Promise land. Telling me that I don’t need to focus too much on the promise, but focus on the Promise Keeper. Life tests my decisions and strengthens my ability to try new things. As a working student, I understand what it’s like to juggle everything. However, I don’t believe in giving up on what I’ve already started.

    Part II:

A 'day' in college life is different, you will experience a lot — pain, crying alone, financial problems, and sleepless nights. The hardest part of being a college student is when you don't know if you will be really successful in the course you are pursuing. But reading a bible made me realized that despite of the challenges and struggles I am facing, it is important to stand and face those challenges. That’s why I am enlightened with the bible verse, Philippians 4:6-7 "Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus." This passage offers me a practical solution for managing stress and anxiety, a common experience for students like me. The Bible provides a source of peace and strength amidst academic pressures.

Making time for the Bible is a choice. I can set a reminder, read a verse in the morning, or a chapter at night. The key is to start. When life feels overwhelming, Philippians 4:6-7 reminds me to give my worries to God and find peace in Him. Applying biblical wisdom means making the right choices—being patient, honest, and kind, even when it’s hard. The Bible isn’t just for reading; it’s for living.

God’s wisdom is greater than mine because He sees the bigger picture. That’s why praying before decisions, reading His Word, and following His truth keeps me on the right path. The Bible teaches honesty, kindness, and faith, guiding my choices in school and life. Proverbs 3:5-6 reminds me to trust God and do what’s right.

When stress comes, God’s Word gives strength. Instead of worrying, I can hold onto His promises. Reading and obeying the Bible helps shape my character, teaching patience, discipline, and integrity. The world offers temporary success, but the Bible leads to truth and eternal life through Jesus. Growing in faith means reading scripture, praying, and surrounding myself with people who encourage me.

Sharing God’s Word isn’t just about talking—it’s about living my faith through kindness and honesty. It can be as simple as sharing a verse or inviting a friend to church. But I also need to be ready to defend my faith. 1 Peter 3:15 reminds me to always be prepared to explain what I believe. The Bible is my greatest tool for wisdom, strength, and purpose. The question is, will I use it?

    PART 1:
Bible is the manual of life, thus it’s important to prioritize reading it daily. Before anything else, I start my day with the Bible. Skipping to read it on a daily basis feels like something doesn’t seem right. Reading it also keeps me on a good mood. Joshua 1:8 is the verse I relate to my current situation. I always thought that having good grades will make me happy but I was wrong. Being with God with the things I do is what truly gives me happiness regardless of success. These biblical wisdom could be applied through applying it to myself first. Through the learnings came from reading the Bible, it restricts me from doing something bad with studies and relationship with others.
    PART 2:
    1. Wisdom from God is greater than human wisdom. I believe that everything that was created have it’s creator and our only creator is God. The wisdom we humans have is from our God, thus He is far greater than us. Students can apply biblical wisdom in their studies and decision making through daily practices. Small consistent practices makes bigger outcomes. Asking decisions to God instead of relying on oneself could make life better.
    2. Relying on the Bible when it comes to choices in life as a student could make life easier and happier. God’s ways is always fa greater than what I imagined and it’s the only thing I need to have everyday whenever I doubt myself going to school. Isaiah 60:22 says “ when the time is right, I the lord will make it happen “, this verse always keeps me motivated whenever there’s something I couldn’t achieve. There are things that is beyond my control and only Him has the right to decide.
    3. Stress and challenges are part of our life and God’s Word is within our life. We only need to seek God and ask for guidance and wisdom then all these struggles could turn into opportunities, whether it will make you stronger or you will learn something greater. By meditating on scripture, I always realize the things I’ve done and the solutions I could apply through the Word of God. This keeps me in peace, knowing that God is always with me and all of us, we just need to seek for him.
    4. Reading and obeying the Word of God helps shape my character. Through wisdom that I gain from reading it, I am adapting to what God wants me to be. It’s like a free therapy, I only need to be still. By focusing only to the God’s Word, I am confident that I am not affected by the worldly influences.
    5. The Bible revealed that only through Jesus, he is the way to eternal life, we just need to believe in him. The steps I could take to grow my faith is through daily reading the Bible and applying it in my everyday life, whether in school, home and everywhere.
    6. I can the word of God with classmates and friends through social group meetings or activities. Being prepared to defend faith is important especially as a student because we are facing lots of struggles in school and the evil ones are always waiting to tempt us.

As a reflection, I learned that this devotional emphasizes the Bible as our most valuable resource, providing wisdom, direction, and strength in all aspects of life. The theme verse, Psalms 119:105, teaches us that God’s Word serves as a lamp to guide our steps, illuminating the path through life's uncertainties. Similarly, 2 Timothy 3:16-17 underscores that all Scripture is inspired by God and serves as a tool for instruction, correction, and equipping us to do good works. It reminds us that the Bible is not just a religious book but a practical guide for living.

The Bible provides a deeper understanding of life’s greatest truths, helping us to navigate decisions and challenges with divine insight. As students, it’s easy to focus on grades or achievements, but true wisdom from God, found in His Word, is far more valuable in shaping our lives and decisions. Philippians 4:6-7 offers comfort during stressful times, reminding us that when we face pressures—whether from exams, deadlines, or personal difficulties—we can turn to God in prayer. By trusting Him and seeking peace through His Word, we can find calmness and strength, knowing that His peace will guard our hearts and minds. This verse assures us that God is with us, offering peace beyond understanding during times of stress.

On a personal level, this devotional challenges us to prioritize daily Bible reading, even in the midst of busy schedules. By doing so, we can find refreshment for our minds and spirits, and we can strengthen our faith. Reflecting on Philippians 4:6-7, I’m reminded to turn to God in times of stress, trusting that He will give peace and clarity. Additionally, by applying biblical wisdom in my studies and relationships, I can make choices based on God’s Word, ensuring that my actions align with His will.

In conclusion, this devotional emphasizes that the Bible is not just a spiritual guide but also an essential tool for students. It provides the wisdom, direction, strength, and purpose needed to navigate life, succeed in studies, and live a meaningful life in accordance with God’s will.

    Part 2

As a reflection, I learned that this devotional highlights the crucial role of the Bible for a true believer, particularly students. The Bible serves as an essential source of wisdom, guidance, strength, and encouragement. It offers wisdom that surpasses human understanding, helping us students to navigate our academic and personal lives with godly discernment. By trusting in God's direction, as instructed in Proverbs 3:5-6, students can make wise decisions and face life's challenges with confidence.

The Bible also provides strength during difficult times, offering peace and renewal to those who meditate on its promises. In times of stress or hardship, verses like Philippians 4:6-7 and Isaiah 40:31 remind students that God is a source of support and resilience. By regularly engaging with Scripture, students can cultivate inner peace and perseverance. Additionally, reading and obeying the Bible shapes a student's character and moral compass. It helps them grow spiritually and prioritize godly values over worldly influences. As they apply biblical principles to their daily lives, students develop a strong foundation of faith that guides their decisions and actions, as emphasized in 2 Timothy 3:16-17 and Joshua 1:8.

Furthermore, the Bible empowers students to share their faith and engage in evangelism, as seen in Matthew 28:19-20 and 1 Peter 3:15. Students are encouraged to be prepared to defend their faith and share the hope they have in Christ with others, making an impact on their peers and communities.

In conclusion, this discussion challenges students to not merely hear the Word of God, but to live it out daily (James 1:22). By doing so, they will be transformed, gaining wisdom, strength, and character to face life's challenges and share the message of Christ with others. The Bible is an indispensable guide for both spiritual growth and practical living.

  40. The verse that spoke out to me is Proverbs 3:5- "6—"Trust in the Lord with all thine heart, and lean not unto thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths."

As a college student, I admit that I feel a lot of pressure, especially when it comes to tests and other schoolwork. I always thought that I should do my very best so that I could repay them for everything they have done for us because I'm aware of how hard they're working just to provide us everything we need and want. I don't want to be a burden to them; I want to make them proud and not be disappointed. But no matter the pressure I've been feeling, I always sought comfort and guidance from God because I knew that God would always be with us and that he had something good stored for us. He might sometimes give us challenges, but I know that it's just how he give us lessons, to be strong and not give up on life.

As a student, juggling assignments and deadlines can be overwhelming, but the Bible and devotionals have been a constant source of strength and guidance. They’ve provided me with wisdom and encouragement that go beyond academics.

The Bible, with verses like Philippians 4:13, reminds me that I am not alone in facing challenges. It’s not just about my abilities, but about trusting in something greater to help me through. Devotionals offer daily reflections that give me moments of peace and clarity, helping me stay focused and positive.

The teachings in the Bible have also helped me build discipline and perseverance, reminding me that hard work and patience are essential to success. Scriptures like Proverbs 12:1 have been a guide to staying focused and doing my best, even when things get tough.

Above all, the Bible and devotionals have helped me keep things in perspective. I’ve learned that my worth is not determined by grades alone, but by my purpose and faith. They’ve also taught me the importance of gratitude, helping me find peace and balance, even during stressful times.

As we all know, being a student is one of the happiest and most challenging times in life. There is a lot of stress in assignments and homework, and it is difficult to manage our time. We frequently forget to attend church or study the Bible on Sundays because we view it as a leisure day. However, we frequently forget that our rest is found in Jesus Christ. Make it a practice to read at least one Bible each day, or even once a week, and make time for Him. We should prioritize Him above all else since we cannot do anything or function properly without Him. Giving time shows that you sincerely cherish His love for us. Especially for students like myself, the overwhelming load of academics, along with personal concerns, is a moment when we should draw closer to God in order to gain the strength and will to do such things. The Bible scripture in Psalms 119:105, "Thy word is a lamp unto my feet, and a light into my path," primarily states that He is our guide, savior, and direction—He is our light at our darkest periods in life. As well as the Bible verse Philippians 4:6-7, "Be careful for nothing; but in everything, by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving, make your requests known unto God. And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Jesus Christ." That made me realize even more how God's word is our strength and offers us peace and assurance in all situations in life. By taking the time to read, pray, and thank God for his guidance, you could try to apply what you've learned in the Bible little by little.

    Part 2

God's word carries tremendous power. He possesses the ability to make the impossible happen. Wisdom embodies patience and integrity, leading to wiser decisions. Always seek God's wisdom and connect with him through prayer, a commitment to study the Bible before making a decision, and faith in him that all hardships and challenges in our lives will show that everything was for our favor. Everything happens for a reason. Every encounter shapes us into the individuals we are meant to be.

  47. As a student, I rely on textbooks, notes, and study guides to succeed. But I’ve come to realize that the most powerful tool I have is God’s Word. The Bible gives me wisdom, strength, and guidance for every challenge I face whether in my academics or relationships.

When I feel overwhelmed or discouraged, I hold on to Philippians 4:13: “I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.” This verse reminds me that God equips me with the strength I need to face exams, assignments, and even difficult relationships. Whenever stress arises, I turn to Him for peace and endurance, knowing that I am never alone in my struggles.

I try to use God’s wisdom in my studies and relationships. In my studies, I hold on to Proverbs 16:3“Commit your work to the Lord and your plans will be establish.” Before I begin studying, I pray for focus and understanding.

In my Relationships: Colossians 3:12 – “Clothe yourselves with compassion, kindness, humility, gentleness, and patience. I do my best to treat my classmates, teachers and friends with grace even in difficult moments.

    Part I.
The Bible serves as one of my greatest tools as a student. Bible serve as manual of life, and all the words in the Bible written by God is alive and active. How can prioritize reading the Bible daily, before bedtime and especially when I wake up In the morning I set aside time for reading Bible for my spiritual growth and making wise and pure decisions which helping me stay on the right track with God's will and also to gain more wisdom.
In Psalms 119:105 –"Thy word is a lamp unto my feet, and a light unto my path." It reminds me that whenever I face challenges or uncertainty, the Bible will serve as my lamp to enlighten me, provide answers, and offer wisdom. It will help me make decisions and stay on the right path. This verse speaks to my current stuggles.

    Part II.

Wisdom from God greater than human wisdom because the wisdom that comes from the Lord is endless, and God's wisdom is boundless and perfect but human wisdom is base on their experience and some of the wisdom of humans is inspired by the Lord through His grace. As a student, I can navigate my studies and decisions in a way that reflects my faith and trust in God's greater wisdom.

    PART I
As a students, it's a treasure trove of wisdom, guidance, and inspiration that can significantly enhance our academic journey and life beyond the classroom. This devotional explores how the Bible can be a student's greatest tool.

Academic life is filled with challenges: demanding coursework, stressful exams, peer pressure, and the ever-present uncertainty of the future. The Bible offers timeless wisdom to navigate these difficulties. Proverbs, for instance, is packed with practical advice on everything from making wise decisions (Proverbs 3:5-6) to managing finances (Proverbs 22:7). These aren't just abstract principles; they're actionable strategies for overcoming obstacles and building a successful life.

    PART II
    We Need Scripture
Without the Bible, we would have an incomplete understanding of who God is, His work of salvation, and how to live a life that pleases God.

The Bible is necessary to know God, salvation, and how to live a holy life.
We need God’s word for all of life. We cannot live without God’s word. Jesus said in Matthew 4:4, “man shall not live by bread alone but by every word that comes from the mouth of God.” This was in the context of His temptation from Satan. Jesus needed and we need to use the Bible to live life. The Bible is necessary.

We Need Scripture to Know God
There is much we know about God from creation. (Ps. 19:1; Rom. 1:19-20) This is what is referred to as general revelation. Paul says that God’s revelation through creation is clear. In fact, he says that it reveals God’s invisible attributes. God’s power is on display through what He made.
But if all we had was God’s revelation through creation, general revelation, we would have an incomplete picture. God is not only the Creator He is also the Redeemer. Jesus came and revealed God to us (John 1:18) but we know about the life, ministry, and teaching of Jesus through the Bible, special revelation.

We would not know that God is love if we did not have the Bible (John 3:16; 1 John 4:7-11). We would not know that God is gracious to save (Ex. 34:6-7) without the Bible.
The Bible is needed for us to have a more complete understanding of who God is. We can never have an exhaustive understanding of who God is, only God possesses that. The Bible takes what is incomplete through the creation and makes it complete.

    We Need Scripture for Salvation
Paul makes this clear in Rom. 10:13-17. “Faith comes from hearing and hearing through the word of Christ” (v17). It is not possible for faith to exist without the Bible. There is a process here to what Paul says.

Faith comes from hearing. This spiritual hearing comes from the word of Christ. Everything Paul mentions must be present in order for faith to be genuine. For faith to be created.

In a few of our other lessons on the Bible, we have leaned heavily upon 2 Timothy 3:16. The context for that verse helps us understand our need for Scripture for salvation. One verse earlier Paul wrote to Timothy, “and how from childhood you have been acquainted with the sacred writings, which are able to make you wise for salvation through faith in Christ Jesus.” One implication of Paul’s statement is that without the sacred writings, the Old Testament, in this case, Timothy would not have been made wise for salvation without them. We need Scripture to know that we need to be saved and how to be saved.

Without Scripture, there is no hope for salvation.

    Part 1
Bible serves as the manual of life, and as a student, it is very important to connect with God through reading His words. I admit that I fail to prioritize reading the Bible, but in order for me to make it as a habit, I begin with a manageable goal, like reading a verse or a short passage each day. I prefer reading it before going to bed to take the advantage of the silence during the night.
In Santiago 1:6. It is said that "Subalit ang humihingi ay dapat magtiwala sa Diyos at huwag mag-alinlangan, sapagkat ang nag-aalinlangan ay parang alon sa dagat na itinataboy ng hangin kung saan." This speaks to my current struggles. As someone who's anxious and scared, I often see myself desperately asking for God's help, so this verse reassured me that I should believe in Him and that I shouldn't doubt.
Proverbs 12:22 says that "Lying lips are an abomination to the Lord, but those who deal thruthfully are His delight. I can apply this verse to my studies through keeping my integrity in my academic works. When it comes to relationships, I can adhere in Ephesians 4:32, wherein it is said that I should be kind and forgive one another just a show God through Christ forgave me.

    Part 2.
Wisdom from God is greater than human wisdom because he is our creator. Human wisdom is limited by our finite understanding, experiences, and biases while His wisdom encompasses a complete and accurate undrstanding of reality, leading to decisions and actions that are ultimately beneficial andd aligned with truth. Students can apply biblical wisdom by seeking God's guidance through prayer when struggling academically. We should also make decisions based in biblical values, such as choosing to help others.

Bible help students make wise choices in school and personal life through diligent understanding. It helps us understand the consequences of our actions, keep from doing wrong, and align our choices with God's will. Based on my experience, the wisdom I got from Him helped me. When I was young, something happened wherein being angry is the only thing I'm capable of. As time goes by, I started to read the Bible and I learned that in order for me to remove this heaviness in my heart, forgiveness is the only solution.

Students can rely on God's word by: 1) Reading and meditating on scriptures that offer comfort, hope, and encouragement. 2) Praying to God, using the Bible as a basis for their requests. 3) Remembering that God is with them and wil provide strength and guidance in times of difficulty. Meditating on scrpture allows believers to focus their minds on God's truth and promises, which can calm anxieties and fears.

Reading and obeying the Bible shapes a student's character by learning how to give love, compassion, and patience for others. It can also transform their mindset to align their behaviors with God's will. The importance of prioritizing the word of God is it provides a true and lasting foundation for life, while wordly influences are often temporary and can lead to destructive paths.

The Bible reveals that eternal life is obtained through faith in Jesus Christ, who died for our sins and rose again. It explains the need for repentance, forgiveness, and a personal relationship wth God. Some ways where students can grow in their faith is by regularly reading and studying the Bible, praying for understanding, and obeying te teachings of the Bible in their daily lives.

Students can share the word of God by: 1) Living out their faith in a way that is attractive. 2) Share Bible verses in conversations when appropriate. 3) Inviting friends to church or Bible study, and 3) Offering to pray for their classmates and friends. It is important for students to be prepared and defend their faith because they will likely encounter questions an challenges to their beliefs. Being prepared to defend their faith allows them to give a reasoned explanation of the gospel, to encourage those who are struggling, and to stand firm in their convictions.

    Part 1
I believe the Torah is the light and lamp, because it teaches us how to treat others, and how to separate the holy from the profane as we seek to worship with our lifestyle. If we keep the Shabbat/sabbath and appointed times/moedim we learn to put Yahweh first as we pause our busy life to devote time to Him. The dietary restrictions teach us self control and how to treat our body as a temple made by Elohim/God, and that we are not our own but made in the image of a holy Elohim.

I see God’s Word as the rod and staff mentioned in psalm 23:4, I am both comforted by the Word and gain conviction for my life that keeps me away from evil that opens doors to demonic influence like channel/consulting mediums. By understanding you can’t really talk to the dead you don’t open that gate of influence into your life. By submitting to the instructions of Yahweh I get to see more of His character and stay humbled by realizing I am not perfect.

In many cases if you treat people with respect and love you will receive respect and compassion back. With the influence of evil/darkness there is good/light. If everyone respects life and property we would not have crime. Torah is a Devine set of boundaries that create Eden/utopia without the influence of evil.

At creation Elohim created order in the heavens and on earth by creating the rules that govern everything, hence why chemical reactions are predictable, or physics principles that explain why things behave like they do, radio waves, flight/fluid dynamics, etc.

    Part 2
my personal walk with Christ, I have noticed that the more spiritually gifted we are, the more casually we consider the scriptures. We don’t consider God to have answered us or spoken until we have received a prophecy, a dream or a vision. This is exactly how I grew up. But as we explore the importance of scripture you will find that, no matter how gifted you are, without a good grasp of the scriptures, you will never actually mature in the spirit.

Without a good understanding of the scriptures, you can perform many miracles, but you will always be lacking in wisdom: Wisdom to make decisions for life, wisdom for marriage and relationships, wisdom to deal with enemies and wisdom to be established in this world.

Without a good understanding of the scriptures, no matter how much you hear God, there are things about him and his plans for you that you will never know.

Without a good understanding of the scriptures, no matter how many prophecies you receive, or how many visions you see, you will remain weak and susceptible to deception, and you find that no matter how much you pray, the enemy keeps coming back in ways that you don’t understand, and God seems to be blind to those things.

There are things that God will speak to you only via the Spirit, and there are things that the Spirit will teach you only via the scriptures.

    PART 1
The Bible gives wisdom. Proverbs 2:6 says, “For the Lord gives wisdom; from His mouth come knowledge and understanding.” Scripture provides guidance for life, teaching us how to live righteously, make wise decisions, and navigate challenges with faith.

The wisdom found in the Bible is not just intellectual knowledge but practical and spiritual insight that helps us grow closer to God. James 1:5 encourages us to seek wisdom from God, saying, “If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach, and it will be given to him.”

By reading, meditating on, and applying God’s Word, we gain true wisdom that leads to peace, understanding, and a life that honors Him.

    PART 2
    2 Timothy 3:16-17

"All Scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness, that the man of God may be complete, thoroughly equipped for every good work."

This passage emphasizes the divine origin and purpose of Scripture. It reminds us that the Bible is not merely a collection of human writings but is inspired by God. Every word serves a purpose: to teach us truth, correct our mistakes, guide us in righteousness, and prepare us for the good works God calls us to do.

In a world filled with conflicting ideas and shifting values, these verses call us to anchor ourselves in the Word of God. It provides wisdom, strengthens our faith, and equips us to live according to God’s will. When we allow Scripture to shape our hearts and actions, we become more effective in our spiritual walk and in serving others.

Ultimately, this passage challenges us to view the Bible not just as a book to read, but as a guide to live by. Are we allowing God's Word to correct and equip us daily?

  61. To make Bible reading a daily habit, I need to set aside time each day. It can be in the morning, or before bed whenever works best for me. I start by choosing a small section to read, so it doesn’t feel overwhelming.

I can use a Bible app or a reading plan to help me stay on track. Setting a reminder on my phone or writing it in my calendar can also help me remember. As I read, I try to understand what God is teaching me and how it applies to my day.
Reading the Bible is important because it helps me grow closer to God and understand His will for my life. With a little planning and commitment, I can make it a part of my daily routine

    1. The Bible reveals the path to eternal life as a gift from God, attainable through faith in Jesus Christ. Specifically, it emphasizes the importance of believing that Jesus died for our sins and was raised from the dead, and confessing him as Lord. This faith, coupled with recognizing one's need for a Savior, is the key to receiving eternal life as a gift, not a reward for good works.

    2. Students can foster faith growth through the Bible by consistently engaging with Scripture, praying, and actively participating in their church community. This includes regular Bible reading, memorization, attending services, and seeking opportunities to serve and fellowship with other believers.

    REFLECTION:

I do believe that the Bible is the greatest tool a man can have, especially in this life 'cause as Psalms 119:105 says "Thy word is a lamp unto my feet, and a light unto my path". In this world full of uncertainties and negativity God's word or the Bible serves as our light and guide for us to live a purposeful and meaningful life. Especially as a student, the Bible helps us not just to be knowledgeable but to have a wisdom only God can give. Worldly knowledge is limited and may revolve on science but God's word is more broad and makes you wise. Also as a student we face different circumstances where we need to choose and we struggle to choose the best, so the Bible can help us make wise choices and guide us on what we should do because the Bible always has the answer and it always brings good/best outcome. So I realize that following what's written in the Bible is the best option. Another is in times of need the word of God gives us comfort and encouragement, being a student is not easy, we may pressured, overwhelmed by certain activities, tend to over think that may lead to anxiety and being not good emotionally and mentally so we really needed encouragement and support, Bible can sustain it for the peace coming from the Lord can not compare what peace this world offer. The Bible also shapes our character and behaviour and guides us to be a better individual and professional soon. It is also the key for us to be saved and the way for eternal life and that's the best thing we can ever know. Another Bible helps us to win souls for the Lord and His kingdom. Knowing this boosts me to always study the Bible and apply what's written in it in my life.

Let’s be real, school life is tough sometimes. There’s so much to deal with: assignments piling up, figuring out what to do after graduation, even just getting along with classmates. But moving forward, I’m not gonna let stress run my life. I’ll keep Psalms 119:105 close. God’s word is like a flashlight para hindi ako mawawala sa tamang daan. When exams feel super hard, I’ll stop for a bit and pray, 'cause Philippians 4:6-7 says worrying won’t fix anything anyway.

When it comes to big college decisions, like shifting tracks, or getting along with peers, I’ll live by the golden rule: “Treat people like you’d want to be treated”. Whether working on group projects, or handling conflicts, this will guide me. At the same time, I’ll trust Joshua 1:8 to keep me on the right path, not just what’s easy or popular.

I know I’ll make mistakes, but I want my journey as a student, and whatever comes next to be all about kindness and trusting Him.

Devotional: “The Bible—A Student’s Greatest Tool in Today’s Generation”

Today we are surrounded by technology, speed, and easy access to information, yet they ignore wisdom. Decisions are made based on trends, opinions, and emotions. The devotional states that even with technological advancements, the Bible is still the greatest tool. God gives us our purpose in life; the Bible gives us wisdom, guidance, comfort, and hope to press on every day.

The Bible is full of wisdom that is not academic. Education teaches facts and skills, but the Bible teaches us how to live and how to really know ourselves. Proverbs 2:6: “For the Lord giveth wisdom: out of his mouth cometh knowledge and understanding.” In a world where everything is based on grades, popularity, and social media, the Bible reminds us of the importance of character, integrity, and faith.

The Bible also helps in making decisions when faced with peer and social pressures. We are faced with dilemmas concerning friendships, relationships, education, and jobs. Psalm 119:9 says, “Wherewithal shall a young man cleanse his way? by taking heed thereto according to thy word.” God’s Word is the beacon that guides us in making right decisions, even when we are alone.

We can identify with the academic pressure that comes from family expectations and approval. Deadlines, tests, and pressures from family members can be stressful. Rather than giving up, we pray and try our best. Philippians 4:6-7 encourages us to come before God with prayer and thanksgiving, and his peace protects our hearts.

The Bible also readies us for a life of purpose. The Bible verse of Joshua 1:8 tells us that meditation on God’s Word is the key to true success and purpose. In a world that is uncertain, the Bible gives us hope, guidance, and comfort that God has a plan for each of us.

In conclusion, “The Bible—A Student’s Greatest Tool” remains an important topic. Regardless of the distractions, it gives us wisdom, guidance, and purpose. With God’s word as a priority, we can meet this generation with confidence, peace, and truth-filled purpose.

  82. There are days when life feels like walking through a dense forest after sunset—no moon to light the way, and every step carries the weight of uncertainty. In those moments, I am drawn back to Psalms 119:105: “Thy word is a lamp unto my feet, and a light unto my path.” It is a verse I have heard countless times, yet it never fails to settle deep in my heart, bringing both clarity and comfort. The “lamp unto my feet” speaks to the here and now: when I am unsure how to respond to a difficult conversation, when I face a choice that tests my values, or when fear whispers that I am lost. In those small, pressing moments, God’s word does not show me the entire journey it illuminates just enough ground to take the next step, steady and sure. Then there is the “light unto my path”—the broader sense of direction that anchors my life. There have been seasons where I questioned my purpose, where the road ahead seemed blurred by doubt or distraction. In those times, turning to scripture has not just answered specific questions, but has shaped how I see the world and my place in it. It has shown me what matters most: love, justice, humility, and faithfulness. I have also come to see that this lamp and light require intentionality. A lamp needs oil to burn, and a light needs to be tended to shine bright. In the end, this verse is more than a promise it is an invitation to trust. It reminds me that I do not have to carry the burden of finding my way alone. God’s word is a constant companion, lighting the steps beneath my feet and showing me the path ahead. Even when the road curves into the unknown, I can walk with confidence, knowing that the light will never fail me.

The Bible is truly life’s greatest tool. It stands as a foundational guide that shapes our values, informs our decisions, and helps us build a relationship with God. As a Christian, I know I must put God first in everything I do, and reading His word is an important way to connect with Him. I admit there are times when I don’t prioritize Bible reading, but I’m working to make it a habit. The first thing I do each morning is pray for guidance, then read at least one verse to start my day on the right path. One of my favorite verses is Joshua 1:9: "Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged, for the Lord your God will be with you wherever you go." Whenever I feel low, I turn to these words for strength and encouragement.
As a student, I will seek wisdom and understanding, and pray for guidance as I learn. I will dedicate my work to God, following the encouragement in Colossians 3:23: "Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord." I will approach my studies with diligence, not merely to earn good grades, but as an act of service to honor Him.

Devotional; “The Bible — A Student’s Greatest Tool in today’s generation”

This devotional has shown me the significance of the Bible in a student's journey. As stated in Psalms 119:105, God’s word acts as a light directing us along the right path. At times, I experience confusion or stress as a student, but the Bible helps clarify what is right and wrong. The wisdom found in the Bible surpasses any knowledge gained from other books. Proverbs 2:6 indicates that genuine wisdom originates from God. It assists me in making positive decisions in my studies, relationships, and everyday life. Through reading the Bible, I discover how to embody kindness, patience, and responsibility. Additionally, the Bible provides solace during challenging periods. When school becomes overwhelming, Philippians 4:6–7 encourages me to pray and place my trust in God. Engaging with His Word gives me peace and helps me feel calm. Lastly, the Bible helps me live a good and meaningful life Joshua 1:8 teaches that following God’s word leads to true success. This devotional reminded me to trust God and use the Bible as my guide every day. In conclusion, this devotional strengthened my beliefs that the Bible is a student’s greatest tool because it provides wisdom, direction, strength, and a strong foundation of faith. As I continue my journey as a student I am reminded to rely God’s word daily, trusting that he will guide my steps and shape my future according to his will.

As others have said, devotional reading refers to a consistent habit of reading the Bible or a book about the faith. Reading the writings of the saints is a great way to view the faith in a different way than you currently do. Usually, when I read something from a saint it makes me realize how little I actually take the faith seriously. Devotional reading can also be reading books that help explain the Bible. Reading the Bible regularly is very important to growing in the faith, but you want to be sure you aren’t interpreting it incorrectly. Prayer is super important, nothing formal just telling him what’s on my heart and allowing myself some quiet time to listen for his response remember that reading the Bible is a form of loving God. Only by loving God with all can you receive and take all the Love He Offers. My help comes from the Lord, the Maker of heaven and earth,” (Psalm 121:1-2,NIV). God should be our first resort, our refuge, our hope. He is our creator and he made us with purpose, He is at work in our lives and sustains us.There are some really powerful verses that God has used to calm my anxiety, give me strength to persevere, and to bring hope when I wasn’t feeling any.So, I’m hopeful they’ll bring life, joy, and hope to others as well! I’m excited to hear verses and stories of encouragement from others as well.

    REFLECTION

As I read this devotional, I felt myself slowing down and reflecting on my life as a student.
Kapag stressed or overwhelmed ako, pwede pala akong huminto, magbasa, at magtiwala. This devotional reminded me na success is not just about grades but about staying grounded and guided in real life.

Devotional; “The Bible — A Student’s Greatest Tool in today’s generation”

Being a student is honestly a lot to handle. Between the constant pressure to get good grades, the stress of social life, and that nagging worry about what comes after graduation, it’s easy to feel overwhelmed. For me, the Bible is like an anchor in all that chaos. When I’m exhausted or doubting myself, it gives me the strength to keep going and reminds me that I don't have to carry everything on my own. It brings a real sense of peace to my heart, helping me realize that my worth is about more than just a test score and that I can trust God with my future.

But it’s about more than just feeling better, the Bible actually teaches me how to be a better person. School teaches me facts and skills, but God’s word teaches me how to live—showing me the importance of being humble, forgiving others, and making wise choices. It acts like a compass that keeps me on the right track when life gets confusing. By following these lessons, I’m not just getting an education, I’m learning how to live a life that actually matters and stays true to my faith.

    Part 1

Being a student, I have to cope with numerous issues on a daily basis which include schoolwork, exams, stress, and future choices. I came to realize, through this devotional, that the Bible is not a book to use in church but a great guide in my everyday life. Psalm 119: 105 explains that the Word of God is a lamp to our feet and a light to our way. This implies that the bible assists me in knowing which is the right path to take particularly when I am lost or confused.

I was taught that the Bible is a source of real wisdom. Books and teachers impart knowledge though the bible imparts wisdom, a God-given wisdom. Proverbs 2:6 makes me remember that I can get wisdom, knowledge, and understanding under the Lord. This is something that as a student, I realize that success is not necessarily about earning good grades but making right decisions and being of good character.

The Bible also assists in informing my decisions as well. I have numerous options to make in school, friendships and life. Psalm 119:9 informs a youth that one can lead an innocent life when he/she adheres to the Word of God. Reading and adhering to the Bible assist me in making right decisions and evading wrong decisions.

The other lesson is that Bible imparts strength at stressful moments. School may be exhausting and overwhelming, but Philippians 4:67 helps me pray and leave it to God rather than worrying. Peace that God guarantees me will be a calming reassurance to my heart and my mind even in situations such as examinations or personal troubles.

Finally, Bible equips me with valuable and meaningful life. According to Joshua 1: 8, success in life comes through meditating on the Word of God. I was taught that being successful does not only involve success but following the will of God. The Bible assists in defining my religion, personality, and destiny.

During conclusion, the Bible is indeed significant to all students and believers. It renders prudence, guidance, power and direction. As a student, I am motivated to read the Bible and employ the teaching in its practice, and rely on God in all aspects of my life.

While reading this devotional, I found myself reflecting on my life as a student. I realized that I often get caught up in schoolwork, deadlines, and pressure, to the point that I forget that the Word of God is supposed to be my anchor. This reminded me that I don’t have to face my worries and decisions alone God’s guidance is always available, especially when life feels chaotic or confusing.
The second part made an even bigger impact on me. It emphasized that the Bible isn’t just a book for learning; it’s a source of comfort and peace. Whenever I feel overwhelmed or stressed, I’m reminded that I can pause, turn to Scripture, and find rest in God’s promises. It showed me that real success goes beyond academic achievements. It’s also about having a peaceful heart, a clear direction, and a strong relationship with God.
In the end, this devotional encouraged me to be more intentional in seeking God daily. It reminded me to rely on His Word not only for wisdom but also for strength and reassurance. As a student po, it gave me a fresh perspective that with God’s guidance, I can face challenges with clarity, confidence, and peace.

Instead of reading too much at once, I'll start by reading just one chapter or a little paragraph. I can easily access my Bible at any time, even while I'm busy, if I have a Bible app on my phone.

Right now, I’m struggling because I can’t focus on my goals and my mind is always full of different thoughts. To apply biblical wisdom in my studies and relationships, I’ll focus on being diligent with my school work, just like the Bible says to do everything with all my heart. For relationships, I’ll try to be kind, patient, and honest with the people around me, treating them the way I want to be treated.

    Part 1

As students, we are often surrounded by peer pressure, stress, anxiety, and fear. It is easy to feel tired, overwhelmed, and unmotivated. However, through prayer and reading the Bible, we discover how His Word helps us find peace. It allows us to "vent" and release our struggles, knowing that Jesus always has our backs. He does not judge us; instead, He offers forgiveness regardless of our flaws.

As Psalms 119:105 says, "Thy word is a lamp unto my feet, and a light unto my path." The Bible reminds us that we don't need to carry the burdens of this world alone. Jesus is in control, and He is ready to carry those weights for us so we do not have to worry.

I have realized that true success is not only measured by earning a diploma or achieving high grades; it is about walking within the will of God, living a life of faith, and remaining grateful every day. When we make God and His Word our foundation, we will not collapse. No matter what storms or challenges we face, God keeps us stable.

Through Him, we can conquer anything and nothing is impossible. We must keep the fire of our faith alive by praying and reading His Word daily, reminding ourselves that God will never abandon us. Even when the future feels uncertain, His Word provides the light and peace we need to move forward. I will make time to talk to God and read His Word every day to stay grounded in His truth.

Wisdom from God is far greater than human wisdom because He is the Creator of all things. While human knowledge is limited and often changes, God's wisdom is limitless and eternal.

      2. How can students apply biblical wisdom in their studies and decision-making?
As students, we can apply this by asking for His guidance in our studies, acknowledging that our intelligence comes from Him.

II. The Bible as a Guide in Life's Decisions

The Bible serves as our guide, reminding us to ask if our choices give glory to Him.

      2. Can you share a personal experience where a Bible verse guided your decision?
Jeremiah 29:11 is a verse I hold dear; it reassures me that God has plans to prosper me and not to harm me. This verse gives me confidence that even when decisions are hard, God wants the best for my future.

III. The Bible as a Source of Strength and Encouragement

      1. How can students rely on God's Word when facing stress and challenges?
When we face the heavy stress of schoolwork, we must remember that God is our source of life. By leaning on Him and surrendering our worries, we find the strength to continue.

IV. The Bible as the Foundation of Faith and Character

      1. How does reading and obeying the Bible shape a student's character?
This practice shapes our character, teaching us to live with integrity, kindness, and compassion.

      2. Why is it important to prioritize the Word of God over worldly influences?
It is vital to prioritize God's Word over worldly influences because we are His stewards. We must listen to His promises and recognize Him as our Savior.

VI. The Bible as a Tool for Evangelism and Ministry

      1. How can students share the Word of God with their classmates and friends?
By being "doers of the Word" and sharing God's selfless love with our classmates, we show them that they don't have to face life's challenges alone.

      2. Why is it important for students to be prepared to defend their faith?
It is important to defend our faith because, as students, we encounter many different beliefs; knowing the Truth helps us stay grounded.

As a student in today’s busy world, I used to think that my phone and laptop were the only tools I needed to succeed. However, I have realized that while technology helps me with my homework, the Bible is what actually helps me with my life.

One thing I’ve learned is that being a student is stressful. There is always pressure to get good grades and fit in with everyone else. When I feel overwhelmed, the Bible is my go-to tool for peace. It reminds me that I am not alone and that I don't have to be perfect. It gives me the strength to keep going even when school gets hard.

The Bible also serves as my guidebook. In a generation where there are so many different opinions online, it can be hard to know what is right. The Bible acts like a compass, teaching me how to be honest, how to be a good friend, and how to make wise decisions. It helps me focus on what truly matters, not just what is trending.

In conclusion, this reflection has made me realize that I shouldn't just leave my Bible on a shelf. It is a practical tool that I can use every day. It prepares my heart for the future just as much as my teachers prepare my mind.

This devotional encouraged me to commit to reading the Bible daily, applying its teachings, and sharing its wisdom with others. It made me reflect on the kind of student and believer I want to be, someone who not only seeks academic success but also spiritual growt.

The Bible will help not just students but all of us to make wise decisions in school and personal life because it serves as our manual of life.

    PART 1
The theme verse from Psalm 119:105 reminds me that God's Word is like a light source that shows me exactly where to step next. It's encouraging to understand that the Bible isn't just an old book; it's a practical "tool" that gives me wisdom when I'm confused and peace when I'm stressed out. Rather than just chasing high grades, this reflection teaches me that true success comes from having a clear purpose and a strong heart. My biggest takeaway is that if I take just a few minutes each day to read and pray, I'll have the strength to handle the pressure of being a student with much more confidence and grace.

    PART 2
As a student, reading this content helps me understand that the Bible is more than simply an original text; it is a useful manual for overcoming obstacles in both life and education. The lesson emphasises that genuine wisdom begins with a foundation of faith, which serves as an important reminder when I'm feeling overburdened by my schoolwork or personal decisions. It shows me that being a "true believer" entails more than just reading verses, it also entails developing character and having the courage to maintain hope in the face of difficulty. By reflecting on these discussion questions, I've learned that I can find balance and purpose in my daily routine if I take the time to seek guidance from something deeper than just my own perspective.

They can also share Bible verses, personal testimonies, or encouragement when friends are going through difficulties. Joining or starting Bible study groups, inviting friends to church activities, and praying for others are simple but powerful ways to spread God’s Word. Most importantly, students can share God’s love through good example and genuine care.
Why is it important for students to be prepared to defend their faith?
It is important for students to be prepared to defend their faith so they can stand firm in what they believe, especially when faced with questions, doubts, or peer pressure. As a student, I realize that the Bible is not just a book of stories or commandments, but an invaluable guide that shapes every aspect of my life. The verses shared remind me that God's Word is a lamp unto my feet and a light unto my path (Psalm 119:105), illuminating my way through the challenges of school, peer pressure, and future decisions. I am learning that wisdom from God is far greater than human knowledge. Proverbs 2:6 assures me that God gives wisdom freely, and I need to seek it daily through His Word. This wisdom helps me make better choices, not just academically, but also in how I treat others and handle life's dilemmas.

The Bible also offers me comfort and strength. Philippians 4:6-7 encourages me to bring my worries to God in prayer, promising that His peace will guard my heart and mind. During stressful exam seasons or personal struggles, I find that meditating on scripture calms my spirit and renews my strength, enabling me to press on.

Devotional: The Bible — A Student’s Greatest Tool

In a world full of deadlines, exams, and pressure to succeed, students often look for tools that will help them get through school, books, gadgets, notes, and apps. Yet one of the greatest tools a student can have is often overlooked: the Bible.

The Bible is more than an ancient book; it is God’s living Word that gives wisdom, direction, and strength. Proverbs 2:6 reminds us, “For the Lord gives wisdom; from His mouth come knowledge and understanding.” While textbooks teach us facts, the Bible teaches us how to live, how to choose what is right, how to treat others, and how to trust God in difficult moments. As students, there are times when we feel overwhelmed,by academic pressure, personal struggles, or uncertainty about the future. The Bible reassures us that we are not alone. Psalm 119:105 says, “Your word is a lamp to my feet and a light to my path.” God’s Word guides us when decisions are hard and gives us peace when anxiety takes over.

    REFLECTION:

Being a student, the Bible is the best tool to enhance our wisdom and knowledge not just because it exercises our mind academically by reading/meditating and memorizing His words but also it helps us to make wise choices in life. As Proverbs 3:5-6 states that we should trust God and not lean unto our own understanding because God's mind is incomparable and if we put our trust in Him with everything He will direct our paths and we will achieve the best and gain the real knowledge we're needing. Studying the Bible will not only lead us to spiritual growth, yes it's part but there's many more it can offer us especially at our age that is prone to temptation and compromises. The Bible guides us in life, with what we must do, and to tell you it is the best way to know our purpose. Also by believing in the Bible our faith will be profound and with that our character will also develop. Reading and meditating the Bible daily, praying and worshipping Him, we will find strength and encouragement not just physically or mentally but in all aspects for it brings peace and joy within our hearts and mind. And of course Bible is the key to salvation and a tool for evangelism, as Dr. Jeremiah preached in the video, many tries to destroy the Bible but it is still alive today because God's words is imperishable as Matthew 24:35 says, 'Heaven and earth shall pass away, but my words shall not pass away.' God's word stays, for the world to know the truth and be saved. The coming of Christ is very near so we should use all we can to spread the Gospel and share the good news. I also want to quote these from the video stating, "Bible is a mine of wealth, paradise of glory, a river of pleasure" because it’s true, the Bible is a source of endless wisdom, hope, joy, and spiritual richness for those who read and live by it.

    Part 1

As a third year BSBA student, like any ordinary student, I also face many challenges in my studies and daily life. Reading the Bible, even for a short time each day, helps me stay calm and focused. “Your word is a lamp to my feet and a light to my path” (Psalm 119:105) speaks to my current situation because it reminds me that God is guiding me even when I feel confused. I apply biblical wisdom by being honest in my schoolwork and choosing patience and kindness with my relationships with others. Through God’s Word, I learn to trust Him in every situation because the Bible gives me wisdom, guides my decisions, strengthens me, and prepares me for a purposeful life.

    Part 2

I have learned how important the Bible is in guiding my life and my studies. God’s wisdom is greater than from any human wisdom because it is truthful and helps me, all of us, make the right choices even when life feels hard.

I apply biblical wisdom by praying before making decisions, showing integrity in my schoolwork, and treating others with kindness.

When there are times that I feel stressed or overwhelmed, reading the Bible and trusting God gives me peace and strength. The Bible also shapes my character, teaching me humility and how to stay faithful instead of conforming too much in this world's standards and norms. It helps me grow in my faith, understand God’s plan for my life, and encourages me to share His love and Words with others.

    PART 1
    Personal Reflection and Application
•How can I prioritize reading the Bible daily?
I can prioritize reading the Bible daily by allotting time for it. No matter what or  how busy may we become, it is essential in our daily lives to read the Bible because as it is said in Joshua 1:8, this book of the law will make our way prosperous, and will have good success. If we will set aside reading the Bible then where would we get the wisdom that only God can give?

•What verse speaks to my current struggles?
A verse that speaks to my current struggles now is on, 2 Corinthians 12:9-10. I do admit that especially now that there are a lot of difficulties like in my studies, family problems, financial matters and also with my personal growth, I feel weak and helpless sometimes but when I remember that verse, it just gives me peace and hope that I am never alone. There is no children of God that is neglected by Him.

•How can I apply biblical wisdom in my studies and relationships?
I can apply these Biblical wisdom in my studies and relationships by treasuring His word in my heart,  as it is said in Psalm 119:11, by hiding His word in our hearts it can be a shield against temptation because everything that we keep in our heart, serves as our immediate internal guide especially when we face difficult choices. That's why I will always anchor my heart and my soul to Jesus Christ because I want to walk in the light that we can only find in Jesus Christ our Lord and Saviour.
John 8:12 Again Jesus spoke to them, saying, “I am the light of the world. Whoever follows me will not walk in darkness, but will have the light of life.”

    1. PART 2
      I. The Bible as the Source of Wisdom and Knowledge
      1. Why is wisdom from God greater than human wisdom?
God's wisdom is greater than human's wisdom because God immediately and perfectly knows the past, present, future and every possible outcomes. While on the other hand, human wisdom is limited to what we can observe or learn from the past. In short, God is the source of all wisdom. Every wise human has merely received a small portion of what originates in God.
      Romans 11:33-34 (ESV)
33 Oh, the depth of the riches and wisdom and knowledge of God! How unsearchable are his judgments and how inscrutable his ways!
34 “For who has known the mind of the Lord,
or who has been his counselor?”

      2. How can students apply biblical wisdom in their studies and decision-making?
We as students can use Biblical wisdom by seeing our education as a way to grow spiritually and honor God with our minds. Instead of keeping faith and academics separate, we can combine them by recognizing that God is in control of all truth and looking to Him for guidance in everyday tasks and important decisions.
      Colossians 3:23-24
23 Whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord and not for men,
24 knowing that from the Lord you will receive the inheritance as your reward. You are serving the Lord Christ.

II. The Bible as a Guide in Life’s Decision
      1. How does the Bible help students make wise choices in school and personal life?
The Bible helps us students make wise choices by encouraging us to share our worries with God, as mentioned in Philippians 4:6-7 6 do not be anxious about anything, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. 7 And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus. This brings peace of mind, allowing us to think clearly about our decisions without feeling stressed, which is important for making good choices in school and life.

      2. Can you share a personal experience where a Bible verse guided your decision?
Mostly, when I feel weak and frightened like whenever I am doing the things that I am not that good or I am not comfortable to do, I always remember the Bible verse in Isaiah 41:10 "Fear not, for I am with you; be not dismayed, for I am your God; I will strengthen you, I will help you, I will uphold you with my righteous right hand"

III. The Bible as a Source of Strength and Encouragement
      1. How can students rely on God’s Word when facing stress and challenges?
As it is said in Philippians 4:6-7, Let's just always remember God's word and continually pray to Him, because through praying is where we can talk and connect with Him. We can rely to Him anytime and anywhere, He is always there ready to listen and extend His hand to give us comfort and give answers to our difficulties.

      2. How does meditating on scripture bring peace to a believer?
Meditating on scripture brings peace to a believer because it shifts the mind from worry to God’s truth, reminding them of His promises and presence. By reflecting deeply on verses, believers replace anxious thoughts with assurance, feel closer to God, and gain calmness in the midst of life’s noise. This focus on His Word creates inner stillness and confidence that He is in control, which naturally leads to peace.

    2. IV. The Bible as the Foundation of Faith and Character
      1. How does reading and obeying the Bible shape a student’s character?
Reading and following the Bible helps a student grow in honesty, discipline, and kindness. It teaches values that guide every students' actions, shaping them to be responsible and respectful in both school and life.

      2. Why is it important to prioritize the Word of God over worldly influences?
God’s Word gives lasting truth and wisdom, while worldly influences are always changing and can lead to wrong choices. By putting the Bible first, we build a strong foundation that keeps us focused on what is right and pleasing to God. As it is said in Matthew 4:4 (ESV) “Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that comes from the mouth of God.”

      V. The Bible as the Key to Salvation and Eternal Life
How does the Bible reveal the way to eternal life?
      1. The Bible shows the way to eternal life by pointing us to Jesus, who is the source of salvation. Through scripture, we learn about His life, death, and resurrection, and how believing in Him brings eternal life. John 14:6 (ESV) – “Jesus said to him, ‘I am the way, and the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.’”

      2. What steps can students take to grow in their faith through the Bible?
We can grow in faith by regularly reading, listening, and applying God’s Word. The more we hear and obey scripture, the stronger our trust in God becomes. As it is said in Psalm 1:2–3 those who delight in God’s Word and meditate on it daily are like a tree planted by streams of water, stable, fruitful, and flourishing. This means that consistent study of the Bible not only strengthens faith but also helps students' live a life that is steady and blessed.

VI. The Bible as a Tool for Evangelism and Ministry
      1. How can students share the Word of God with their classmates and friends?
We can share God’s Word by living out biblical values, showing kindness, and speaking about Jesus with love and respect. Just as Jesus commanded in Matthew 28:19–20, believers are called to make disciples and teach others His truth. When we share, we should remember Romans 1:16, which says the gospel is the power of God for salvation, so we don’t need to be ashamed, because even simple words or actions can lead others to Christ.

      2. Why is it important for students to be prepared to defend their faith?
It is important because questions and challenges will come, and being ready helps we students explain our hope in Christ with confidence and humility. 1 Peter 3:15 reminds believers to always be prepared to give an answer with gentleness and respect. At the same time, 2 Timothy 2:15 teaches that we students must study and rightly handle the Word of truth, so our defense is accurate and pleasing to God. This preparation shows that our faith is real, strong, and trustworthy.

    Part 1
As a student reading a Bible is our guidance for every aspect of life, and handle the challenges of learning, relationships, and future planning. It teaching us to provide both direction and strength. I admit it that sometimes I don't have time to read the bible because I don't have a time. Until I learned to do the time management. So let's make it a habit to read the bible instead of using the phone scrolling on social media, because in the Bible we can get a lot of lessons.
In Proverbs 2:6-"For the Lord giveth wisdom out of his mouth cometh knowledge and understanding" this speak to my current struggles because in that verse it offers assurance and also emphasizes that God is the source of insight. So as a person I will admit that I need assurance and guidance from God for the next steps I will take.
Biblical wisdom convert how we manage both our academic work and our connections with others. Proverbs 2:6 reminds me that while knowledge from textbooks is important, godly wisdom from the Lord is greater. This means approaching learning not just to earn good grades, but to grow in understanding and use our abilities for purposes that honor God.

    Part 2
Godly wisdom is greater than human wisdom because it originates from the Lord Himself and obedience to His commandments, unlike human wisdom which is often limited by time, and perspective, we can seek God’s guidance for understanding difficult topics and approach learning with the goal of using knowledge for good, not just personal gain.

The Bible helps us to make wise choices by serving as a guiding light described in Psalms 119:105. When I was a graduating student, many schools came to our room to market us to try to get into their school/university, so as a graduating student, I was still undecided on the course I would take. Since I was an ABM student in senior high, I didn't know whether to take accounting or business administration, so I tried reading the Bible and I chose the course where I saw myself and I said that this is what I want, this is where I see myself being a successful when the time comes.

We can rely on God's Word by identifying relevant verses that address their specific struggles like Philippians 4:6-7 and Isaiah 40:31, pray about their concerns with thanksgiving, and apply biblical principles to their decisions. Meditating on scripture leads to a peace that transcends human understanding, calming hearts and minds by anchoring them in faith rather than circumstances.

Reading and obeying the Bible builds traits like integrity, patience, and compassion, while guiding me to make choices aligned with godly values. Because it ensures students are rooted in truth, and protected from values that conflict with their faith.

According to the Bible, believing in Jesus Christ is the path to eternal life John 5:39.  It teaches that although everyone has sinned, salvation is a gift from God made possible by the death and resurrection of Christ. The promise of eternal life with God is given to believers who trust in Him and adhere to His teachings. We can grow their faith by regularly reading and studying scriptures, and joining Bible studies to discuss and learn with others.

I can share the word of God by Demonstrate kindness, honesty, patience, forgiveness, and share a meaningful Bible verse or devotional thought in casual conversations. It is important for us to be prepared to defend their faith because many people have questions about faith but don’t know who to ask and being prepared allows students to point others toward God’s love and salvation

    Reflection:
    Part 1
It helped me realize that the Bible serves as a guide for my everyday life as a student. By establishing a basic routine such as reading a few verses each morning or right before bed ,I can make reading a Bible as my priority. Philippians 4:6-7 is a verse that speaks with my struggles because it reminds me to pray rather than worry about the future and school, which are frequent sources of stress for me. Biblical wisdom can be applied in my relationships by being kind, patient, and respectful to others, as well as in my studies by being truthful, time-efficient, honest and giving all.
    Part 2
This part made it clearer to me that since God is the source of wisdom, His wisdom is superior to human wisdom. I can put biblical wisdom to use as a student by choosing wise friends, praying before making decisions, and carefully considering my choices. I can turn to God's Word for support and strength when I'm feeling anxious. The Bible also helps me to develop my character by teaching me to be responsible, disciplined, and humble person. It also serves as a reminder that true success is about living a life that aligns with God's will rather than just getting good grades.
Overall, these parts helped me realize that the Bible is an important guide in my life as a student, not only in my faith but also in my daily decisions and actions. It teaches me to trust God, manage my stress, make wise choices, and treat others with kindness and respect. Through God’s Word, I learned that true success is not just about academic achievements but about living a life that follows His will.

In his message, Dr. David Jeremiah explains that the Bible is much more than just an old text, it is a living manual that still has relevance for us students today. Despite numerous efforts throughout history to destroy it or claim it was no longer important, the Bible has survived the test of time and continues to be the most popular book worldwide each year. He refers to it as "God’s wisdom" that serves as a foundation for making wise decisions and developing good character. Rather than merely reading the Bible for facts, Dr. Jeremiah encourages us to allow the Bible to change the way we think and act so we can find true peace and stay on the right path in life.

By wholeheartedly embracing these practices, I endeavor to cultivate a life imbued with spiritual depth, resilience, and an intimate communion with the Divine

    FRIDAY 4:15-5:15

    PART 1
    1. How can I prioritize reading the Bible daily?
As a third year BSBA student, I can prioritize reading the Bible daily by setting a specific time each day, such as early in the morning before classes or at night before sleeping. I can also start with a short passage and reflect on it instead of rushing. Turning off distractions like social media while reading and keeping a Bible or Bible app easily accessible will help me stay consistent. Making it part of my daily routine will help build discipline.
    2. What verse speaks to my current struggles?
A verse that speaks to struggles in studies and stress is Philippians 4:6–7, which reminds me not to be anxious but to pray about everything. As a student, exams and deadlines can be overwhelming or sometimes I feel stressed because of exams, deadlines, and responsibilities but this verse assures me that when I pray and trust God, He will give me peace and comfort that surpasses all understanding.
3.How can I apply biblical wisdom in my studies and relationships?
I can apply biblical wisdom in my studies and relationships by choosing to respond with faith instead of frustration. When I feel stressed or unmotivated in my studies, I will pray for strength and choose honesty and discipline instead of giving up. When I have misunderstandings with others, I will practice patience, humility, and forgiveness instead of reacting with anger. Even if I have problems, God’s Word guides me to make better decisions and grow through my struggles.

  129. PART 2
    I)
    1. Why is wisdom from God greater than human wisdom?
    2. How can students apply biblical wisdom in their studies and decision-making?
-To me, human wisdom is often a reaction to the world around us, it’s limited by what we can see and what society tells us is "smart" at the moment. God’s wisdom is different; it is foundational and unchanging. As Proverbs 2:6 says, it comes directly from His mouth. I apply this in my studies by shifting my focus from just achieving grades to seeking true understanding. When I have to make a tough choice, I look to the Word first, trusting that His "beginning of wisdom" (Psalm 111:10) will lead me to decisions that have lasting value, not just temporary convenience.
    II)
    1. How does the Bible help students make wise choices in school and personal life?
    2. Can you share a personal experience where a Bible verse guided your decision?
-The Bible acts as my spiritual savior. In a school environment where it's easy to get lost in the noise of peer pressure, Psalm 119:105 reminds me that His Word is a "lamp unto my feet." It shows me exactly where to step next. I remember a time when I was tempted to take a shortcut on an assignment because everyone else was doing it. I held onto Proverbs 3:5-6, choosing to trust in the Lord rather than my own "understanding" of what was easy. That choice gave me a peace that a simple grade never could, confirming that acknowledging Him truly directs my path.
    III)
    1. How can students rely on God's word when facing stress and challenges?
    2. How does meditating on scripture bring peace to a believer?
-Student life is a marathon of deadlines and expectations, and it's easy to feel weary. When stress hits, I lean on Isaiah 40:31, reminding myself that waiting on the Lord actually renews my strength. Meditating on verses like Philippians 4:6-7 isn't just a mental exercise for me; it’s a way to actively hand over my anxieties to God. This practice brings a peace that "passeth all understanding," acting like a guard for my heart so I can focus on my goals without being paralyzed by the "what-ifs."
    IV)
    1. How does reading and obeying the Bible shape a student's character?
    2. Why is it important to prioritize the Word of God over worldly influences?
-Reading the Bible is like looking into a mirror that shows me who I am meant to be, not just who the world says I should be. It shapes my character by setting a standard of integrity and excellence that goes beyond "getting by." If I prioritize worldly influences, I am building on sand. But by following Joshua 1:8 and meditating on the Law day and night, I am laying a foundation that ensures my way is "prosperous" in the ways that actually matter, honesty, kindness, and a heart for service.
    V)
    1. How does the Bible reveal the way to eternal life?
    2. What steps can students take to grow in their faith through the Bible?
-The Bible is the ultimate map to salvation, pointing directly to Jesus as the one who testifies of life (John 5:39). For me, growing in faith means taking intentional steps: I start my day with a verse, I ask "Why does this matter for my life today?", and I listen for His voice in the text. Faith comes by hearing (Romans 10:17), so I make it a point to not just read the Word, but to let it resonate in my mind until it becomes a part of how I see everything.
    VI)
    1. How can students share the Word of God with their classmates and friends?
    2. Why is it important for students to be prepared to defend their faith?
-Sharing the Word isn't always about a sermon; often, it’s about how I live. I can share by being "ready always to give an answer" (1 Peter 3:15) with meekness when my friends ask why I’m not stressed or why I chose to be honest. It’s important to be prepared because our world is full of questions. If I know why I believe what I believe, I can offer my classmates a reason for the hope within me, fulfilling the Great Commission (Matthew 28:19-20) right where I am in the classroom.

  130. 1. How can students share the Word of God with their classmates and friends?
As students, we can share the Word of God in everyday situations. One way is by living out our faith. When we choose to be honest during exams, respectful to teachers, and kind to classmates, we are already showing God’s teachings through our actions. People are more likely to listen when they see that our faith truly affects how we live.We can also share by encouraging our friends.

    2. Why is it important for students to be prepared to defend their faith?
It is important because we will meet people with different beliefs and opinions. Some may question our faith or challenge what we believe. If we understand our faith well, we can answer their questions in a respectful and confident way.Being prepared also helps us stay strong when facing peer pressure. When we know why we believe in God, we are less likely to be influenced by negative choices.

    CLV2 FIVE SOLAS
    FRIDAY 1:45-2:45

    1. How can students share the Word of God with their classmates and friends?

Students can share the Word of God through both their actions and words. First, they can show Christ-like behavior being kind, honest, patient, and forgiving. When classmates see good character, they may become curious about their faith. Second, students can share Bible verses, personal testimonies, or invite friends to church or youth activities. Even simple conversations about how God helped them during struggles can make a big impact.

Students can also use social media responsibly to post encouraging verses or reflections. Most importantly, sharing God’s Word should be done with love, respect, and humility not forcing others, but gently explaining their beliefs.

    2. Why is it important for students to be prepared to defend their faith?

It is important because students may face questions, doubts, or even criticism about Christianity. Being prepared helps them explain what they believe clearly and confidently. In 1 Peter 3:15, believers are encouraged to always be ready to give an answer for the hope they have.

When students understand their faith, they are less likely to be confused by false teachings or peer pressure. Being prepared also strengthens their own belief because they study, reflect, and grow spiritually. Defending faith does not mean arguing; it means explaining the truth with gentleness and respect.

Devotional: The Bible — A Student’s Greatest Tool

As I reflect on this devotional, I realize that I can prioritize reading the Bible daily by intentionally setting a specific time like before starting my classes or doing assignments, so God’s Word guides my day first. The verse that really speaks to my current struggles is Book of Joshua 1:8 (NIV): “Keep this Book of the Law always on your lips; meditate on it day and night, so that you may be careful to do everything written in it. Then you will be prosperous and successful.” As a college student, I often think success is just about grades, deadlines, and achievements, but this verse reminds me that true success comes from consistently applying God’s Word in my life. I can live this out by studying with integrity, managing my time wisely, and treating my classmates and professors with respect, allowing biblical wisdom to shape both my academic journey and personal growth.

    FRIDAY 4:15-5:15

    Part I
As a student I've faced a lot of struggles in my life, and one of those is about my mental health, I was mentally unstable for the past few months, and it was really hard for me, so as I faced this challenge in my life, I can prioritize reading a Bible by taking time to read a verses everyday that can help me to overcome these challenges, that can help me to understand why God put me in this kind of situation, and also that can help me to listen and to trust God more than the voices inside my head. "The trials of today will not last forever, God is turning your pain into purpose and your struggles into testimonies." (Romans 8:18) this verse speaks to my current struggle, because I believe that God will never let me lose my silent battles, that he'll never let me suffer for a long time, and that all of these struggles will lead me into a purposeful life.
I can apply biblical wisdom in my studies and relationship, by talking to God everyday, by choosing integrity over cheating and asking him to give me more knowledge and understanding for my studies. As for my relationship with others, is by choosing to be calm and kind always, so that it can strengthen the trust that we built for our relationship.

    Part 2.
    I.
1-2.) God’s wisdom is better because He sees and knows the future, while human wisdom is usually just based on our limited feelings or the situations around us. I can apply this as a students by studying with integrity instead of cheating, and by asking God for clarity and guidance when I am stressed and overwhelmed about making big decisions in my life, like for my future careers.
    II.
1-2.) The Bible has a big part of me as a students especially when it comes in making decisions, because Bible is like a solid foundation that doesn't change when trends do, it helps me to stay grounded and make choices based on things like honesty and kindness instead of just doing what everyone else is doing. One time I was really tempted to use and scroll through my phone instead of studying for an exam, but while scrolling through my phone I saw a Bible verse on my feed, Colossians 3:23 about working with all your heart as if for God. It actually gave me the push to put the phone away and focus because I realized my effort was one of a way to honor Him, not just to get a grade.
    III.
1-2.) Students like me can rely on God's Word by memorizing some verses that remind them that they aren't alone, which helps them to dominate the trust more than the panic when things get overwhelming. Meditating on scripture brings peace because it quietens all the "what-ifs" in our head and replaces them with God's promises, helping us to focus on His power instead of our problems.
    IV.
1-2.)Reading and obeying the Bible acts like a mirror that shows us where we need to grow, helping us change the habits like selfishness or lying for things like integrity and kindness that actually last. It's important to prioritize the word of God, because worldly trends change every day, but God’s Word is a solid foundation that keeps us from getting lost in the crowd or making choices we'll regret later.
    V.
1-2.)The Bible is like a roadmap that shows us where we can't save ourselves, but Jesus already did the work by dying for our sins so we can have a relationship with God forever. Students like me can grow by taking time to read even just one chapter a day and then try to apply one thing they learned to their life at school.

As a Student in PASS COLLEGE BSBA-3 facing daily pressures like exams and deadlines, I see the Bible not just as scripture but as a practical lamp lighting my path through uncertainties, much like how it promises peace surpassing understanding in Philippians 4:6-7 during overwhelming times. To apply it, I'll commit to 10 minutes of daily morning reading, journaling one verse like Joshua 1:8 for focus in studies and relationships, prioritizing God's will over fleeting distractions for true success.

    Part II
I have learned how important the Bible is as a student's greatest tool, offering divine wisdom beyond academics (Proverbs 2:6), guidance for decisions like a lamp to my path (Psalm 119:105), strength and peace during stress (Philippians 4:6-7 and Isaiah 40:31), a foundation for righteous character (Joshua 1:8 and 2 Timothy 3:16-17), revelation of salvation through Jesus (John 5:39), and power for evangelism (Matthew 28:19-20). As a student in PASS COLLEGE facing exams and daily pressures, this devotional from the blog reinforces that prioritizing daily Bible reading even 10 minutes transforms struggles into growth, helping me apply wisdom like trusting God over self-reliance (Proverbs 3:5-6) to reject shortcuts in studies and build godly relationships.

I apply biblical wisdom practically by starting each day with 10 minutes of prayerful reading of Proverbs 3:5-6 before studying, trusting God over self-reliance to make ethical choices like rejecting cheating in exams despite peer pressure (Psalm 119:9), meditating on Isaiah 40:31 during stressful deadlines to renew my energy, prioritizing scripture's unchanging truth (Isaiah 40:8) over social media trends to build integrity, sharing verses like John 5:39 with classmates to foster faith discussions, and gently defending my beliefs in school conversations as a witness.

I am Jamaica Tamayo, a student, a Muslim, and someone who believes in Jesus. Lately, I have been struggling a lot. I feel very stressed, tired, and sometimes I find it hard to stay calm. There are moments when my mind feels heavy, and I ask myself who can really help me when everything feels too much. This devotional touched my heart because it reminded me that I am not alone. God’s Word feels like a light when my thoughts are dark and confusing. When I feel overwhelmed by school, responsibilities, and pressure, the Bible reminds me to pause, pray, and trust God. It gives me peace when my heart feels restless. The teachings of Jesus comfort me during times when I feel weak and lost. They remind me that it is okay to feel tired and that God understands my struggles. Through this devotional, I realized that even when I don’t know who to turn to, God is always there—listening, guiding, and giving me strength to keep going.

It gives wisdom that is greater than what people can give, helping me make better choices in school and in life. When I feel stressed, overwhelmed, or unsure, God’s Word reminds me to trust Him and gives me peace in my heart. The Bible also teaches me how to be a better person. It encourages me to be patient, kind, honest, and strong even when life is hard. It helps me focus on what really matters and not just what the world says is important. Most of all, I realized that the Bible is a guide that never leaves me. It gives hope, strength, and direction, showing me the right path and reminding me that God is always with me, especially during my struggles.

  144. MIRASOL, MELODY GRACE C
    BEED-3 CLV-2 FIVE SOLAS (10:30:11:30)

As a student, I have to admit that life can feel overwhelming sometimes. There are days when everything seems to happen at once—projects, quizzes, deadlines, expectations from family, and even my own pressure on myself. Sometimes I smile like everything is okay, but deep inside I’m already tired and overthinking about my future. Reading this devotional felt like a quiet reminder that I don’t have to carry all of that alone. It made me pause and breathe. The Bible isn’t just something we read because we’re told to. For me, it became something personal—like a safe place I can go back to when my mind feels too noisy.
In the first part, I realized how different God’s Word is from the things I learn in school. School gives me information, but the Bible gives me direction. It teaches me how to handle situations, how to respond when I’m stressed, and how to make choices that won’t leave me with regret later. Psalm 119:105 says, “Thy word is a lamp unto my feet, and a light unto my path.” That verse feels so real to me because there are moments when I honestly don’t know what I’m doing. I question my decisions. I doubt myself. But thinking of God’s Word as a light makes me feel less lost. It reminds me that I don’t need to see the whole road ahead—just the next step.
The second part hit me in a more personal way. It made me reflect on my character, not just my achievements. I realized that being academically good doesn’t automatically mean I’m spiritually grounded. Proverbs 3:5–6 talks about trusting in the Lord with all your heart and not leaning on your own understanding. I struggle with that, especially because I tend to rely on what I think is right. I plan everything. I try to control outcomes. But life doesn’t always go the way I expect. That verse reminded me that it’s okay not to have all the answers. God sees what I can’t see. And honestly, that thought gives me comfort.
Another lesson that stayed with me was about sharing my faith. Most of the time, I focus on improving myself—my grades, my skills, my future goals. I rarely think about how I reflect my faith in everyday situations. Matthew 28:19–20 reminded me that faith isn’t just something I keep to myself. It doesn’t always mean preaching or giving speeches. Sometimes it’s as simple as being patient when I’m annoyed, choosing honesty when it’s easier to cheat, or encouraging a friend who’s struggling. Small actions matter.
This devotional made me realize that I want to be more intentional with my faith. Not just reading the Bible when I feel scared or pressured, but making it part of my daily routine. I want to grow not only as a student who aims for success, but as a person who is grounded in God’s Word. At the end of everything—after exams, after achievements, after failures—what really stays is my relationship with Him. And knowing that His Word is always there for me makes the heavy days feel a little lighter.

  148. Part I
How can I prioritize reading the Bible daily?
I have to stop just "wishing" I had time to read and start making a real plan. A great way to do this is by picking a set time and a quiet place to read, like early in the morning before our day gets busy. It is also helpful to set a simple goal that we can actually finish, rather than trying to read too much at once.
What verse speaks to my current struggles?
Discipline also provides the tools we need to handle life’s inevitable struggles. When we feel overwhelmed, verses like Matthew 11:28-30 remind us that we aren't carrying our burdens alone. Instead of reacting to stress with fear, the disciplined believer reacts with prayer and trust, finding a peace that others can clearly see.
How can I apply biblical wisdom in my studies and relationships? Living with discipline is clearly seen in how we manage our schoolwork and our connections with others. Instead of just studying to get good grades or to be noticed by people, we do our best work to honor God. In our relationships, we show self-control by being better listeners and talking less. This simple habit helps us avoid arguments and reflects the kind and humble heart of Jesus to those around us.
