Haggai Vision, Mission and National Seminar Guidelines

Haggai Vision, Mission and National Seminar Guidelines

Our Vision

Every nation redeemed and transformed through the Gospel of Jesus Christ.

Our Mission

To equip and inspire strategically positioned leaders to more effectively demonstrate and present the Gospel of Jesus Christ, and to prepare others to do the same.

Objective

The desired outcome of a Haggai National Seminar is for participants to be able to more effectively demonstrate and present the Gospel of Jesus Christ by understanding and living out the three components of evangelism contained in the Haggai curriculum.

Please ensure that each session’s content is focused on the above stated goal of the Haggai National Seminar.

Content and Format

A Haggai National Seminar (NS) should have a minimum of 21 hours of content and interaction, The seminar can be conducted in person (residential or non-residential), virtually, or a mix of the two (hybrid), The core content should be selected from the outline of the three Components of Evangelism and topics below. Topics in bold are compulsory topics, and topics not in bold are supplemental and optional. The order of topics, starting with Why and moving to Who and How is a critical element of a Haggai National Seminar for personal transformation and maximum impact.

1. The Why of Evangelizing

· Biblical Mandate of Evangelizing (3 hours

2. The Who of Evangelizing

Communicating the Gospel in Today’s Context (choose at least one of the following) (5

hours)

· Context/Majority

· Next Gen

3. The How of Evangelizing

· Effective Witness in Leadership (4 hours)

· Biblical Stewardship: Raising Resources for Evangelizing (3 hours)

· Setting and Achieving Goals for Evangelizing (5 hours) Summary of 21-hour minimum requirements

· Haggai Vision and Mission (1hr)

· Biblical Mandate for Evangelizing (3 hours)

· Communicating the Gospel in Today’s Context (5 hours)

· Effective Witness in Leadership (4 hours)

· Biblical Stewardship: Raising Resources for Evangelizing (3 hours)

· Setting and Achieving Goals for Evangelizing (5 hours) Faculty

A minimum of 4 faculty members in a National Seminar must be experienced and seasoned. One of the faculty members should be Haggai International faculty or Deemed Haggai International faculty recognized by the International Ministry Development (IMD) of Haggai International.

Number of Participants

It is recommended to have at least 25 qualified participants in a National Seminar to create an effective learning environment. However, a maximum of 35 participants is allowed in a National Seminar

Haggai Strategy

1. Emphasize the “how” of evangelism.

2. Target credible and competent business, professional and religious leaders from strategic areas, including countries closed to traditional missionary endeavors.

3. Select faculty members who are experts with continuously fresh “hands-on”

experience in evangelism.

4. Require faculty members to develop their innovative, culturally relevant materials within the broad guidelines given by Haggai International.

5. Employ highly interactive and catalytic teaching-learning methods.

6. Motivate leaders to advance the skills of others within the body of Christ by transferring what they have learned. This multiplier effect produces exponential growth in the evangelization process.

7. Prepare leaders to develop ministry resources in their own countries using biblical principles of stewardship.
