Pagpapalago ng Pananampalataya:
Laging Umuunlad
Pagbasa ng Kasulatan: 1 Pedro 1:13–2:5
Pagninilay:

We must grow not only physically but also spiritually. Baby needs milk, while adults can able to chew solid food—spiritually speaking, we are meant to grow. To grow spiritually, we need to begin with the basics: praying, reading and meditating on God’s word, and living in obedience to Him. God desires our growth, not for us to remain stagnant like still water where mosquitoes breed.

The word of God is very important. It serves as the milk for the growth of our spiritual relationship with the Lord. One of the ways to communicate with the Lord is through reading the Bible, in order for us to have a good relationship with the Lord.
ReplyDeleteI believe that faith should always grow, just like how a baby needs food to grow strong. God's Word is our spiritual food that strengthens us and deepens our relationship with Him. By opening our hearts to His teachings, renewing our minds, and living a holy life, we become stronger and continue to grow in faith.

As the scripture says, we are a "living stone" and as a new believer it is important to trust our Lord completely with all our hearts and set our hope completely on the blessings which wil be given to us when Jesus Christ is revealed. As a new believer it is also important to always sek for His guidance in everything we do.

Faith is a journey that requires constant growth and renewal. Just as a baby needs milk to grow, we need God's Word to strengthen our spiritual life. We must actively seek His guidance, change our mindset, and live according to His will. Growing in faith means letting go of old habits and embracing a life that honors God. Every day is an opportunity to draw closer to Him and become a stronger believer.

To strengthen faith in God, I should be personal and spiritual, sincere, dedicated, and open-hearted. Reading bibles will help us to grow holistically, as it leads us to goodness and right decisions in life. Just like a milk baby needs it to be full, the same in our lives; we need the words of God to develop life perspective and lifestyle. The words of God are a powerful source of guidance, comfort, and transformation in life. It provides wisdom, strength, and purpose in our journey. It helps to make sense in our lives. Also, in order to become close to God, I should always remember what Jesus would do. In order to make my decisions and actions right. Remember that growing in faith means letting God come into our lives. Every day is an opportunity to become closer to him. Let faith and devotion to God grow in ourselves and in others. Faith plays a crucial role in our lives. It serves as our guide to grow as individuals and to do the right things on earth. The words of God shouldn't just be read or told; they should be practiced in life with all our heart and soul.

Based on what I have read, faith is a continuous journey—it doesn’t stop at the first step but grows every day. As 1 Peter 2:2 says, we must crave God’s word to grow spiritually. It’s not enough to just listen once; we need to make reading and living His teachings a part of our daily lives. In this way, we gradually change and draw closer to Him. Our growth in faith is not just seen in what we know but in how we act—by being kind to others, staying faithful to God, and following His will.
