While I'm reading this blogspot entitled GOD-CENTERED, I am reminded of the importance of keeping God at the center of my life. It’s easy to get distracted in everyday responsibilities like going to school, and personal goals but I realize that without God as my foundation, everything else loses meaning. To ensure my life remains God-centered, I must make intentional changes.
One practical step is to begin and end each day with prayer and reading bible. By grounding myself in God’s Word and staying connected through prayer, I invite His presence into my daily life. I also need to be more mindful of my actions and decisions, asking myself if they reflect the values and teachings of Christ.

Small acts can uplift others and strengthen our faith together.

Reading about the God-centered life of the PASSian community is inspiring and helps us grow. In a world full of noise and self-focus, their way of living reminds us what truly matters—living for God and for others.
What touches me most is their motto: love of God, country, and others. It's not just wordsthey live it every day. It makes me stop and ask: Am I really putting God first? Am I using what He gave me to serve with purpose?
The PASSians show that faith is not about hiding. It’s about being present in the world with love, kindness, and hope. Their lives encourage us to do the same, live with purpose, love others, and share God’s light every day

While reading this gives me realized that God-centered people are not self-centered. God-centered people pay less attention to the applause of this world, because their motivation is the anticipation of hearing the words “Well done!” when this life is over (see Matthew 25:21, 23). Their focus is on becoming more like Jesus rather than acquiring fame and fortune for themselves. A. W. Tozer wrote that “the goal of every Christian should be to live in a state of unbroken worship,” and the God-centered (or Christ-centered) person finds this a delightful goal.
In order to avoid misapplication of texts, it is good to read whole biblical books and try to understand the text in light of both its immediate context and in light of the entire biblical book. Always ask what the text says about the character and nature of God.

God centered life means we need to love the lord God with all our heart. This love is a way to have a relationship with him. This relationship with God will keep us away from the evil influences of those around us.
God gift is a precious thing in every person. We have our own abilities that God can give us. We need to appreciate it and not use it in a bad way. Use our ability in God's Glory and share it with others. Let's stop using our abilities in arrogance, instead let's share them with others and encourage them to use them for God's glory.

Devotional Week 6
GOD-CENTERED: PASSians Flourishing in a Community of Love, Service, and Stewardship
It's more than just an intellectual understanding; it's a complete surrender of our being to His will. It's prioritizing Him in every aspect of our lives – from our thoughts and actions to our relationships. Loving God overflows into how we treat others. It manifests as compassion, empathy, forgiveness, and service. We treat others with respect and dignity, mirroring God's love for humanity. Living the God-centered life is a challenge na ngayon in contemporary society, with so many distractions. Rejecting worldly influences means being discerning about what we consume: media, music, relationships – and actively seeking God's wisdom through prayer and study to guide our decisions. Kailangan ang pagiging matatag sa pananampalataya.
Our talents and resources are not just ours to use as we please; they are blessings entrusted to us by God. As stewards, we have a responsibility to use them wisely, thoughtfully, and for the benefit of others, always seeking to honor God in our actions. This understanding of grace fuels our mission to share God's love. It’s a call to action, to spread kindness, compassion, and the message of hope found in Christ. It is also important to be part of a faith-centered community because it gives us support and unity. It provides encouragement, accountability, and fellowship. We learn from each other and grow stronger together in our faith. We can encourage and strengthen one another in faith by being present, supportive, and prayerful for each other. We offer words of encouragement, acts of service, and consistently live out our faith. Kailangang ipakitang tunay nating pinapanghawakan ang ating pananampalataya.
With this devotion, I realized na kailangan kong maging mas aware sa aking mga ginagawa. I need to be more intentional in prioritizing God in my daily decisions—from how I spend my time to how I interact with others. This means mas madalas na panalangin and regular Bible study to stay connected with Him. I can use my skills and resources to serve others, whether through volunteering, donating, or simply offering help to those in need. This includes managing my finances responsibly and avoiding wasteful spending. To encourage in my faith community, I can reach out to someone who might be struggling or feeling isolated. A simple phone call, a visit, or an encouraging message can make a big difference. Remember, this is a continuous process. Living a God-centered life is a journey, not a destination.

REFLECTION: GOD-CENTERED: PASSians Flourishing in a Community of Love, Service, and Stewardship Introduction
(DEVOTIONAL WEEK 6)
Honestly, for me , living a God-centered life is super important lalo na ngayon sa world na sobrang chaotic and fast-paced. Like, ang daming distractions, ang daming noise, and minsan parang nakakalimutan mo na si Lord talaga yung core ng life mo. But when you really pause and think about it, loving God with all your heart, soul, and mind as in, fully changes everything. Hindi lang siya sa 'pag Sunday ka lang mabait or prayerful, it’s about how you treat people everyday, how you respond to problems, and how you live with purpose.
And to be honest , ang challenge talaga ngayon is 'di ka ma-sway ng mundo like yung toxic standards, fake happiness, or pressure to please everyone. That’s why Romans 12:2 hit me so hard.
Tapos when it comes to stewardship, , this is something I’m learning din. Like, lahat ng skills, time, energy, and even yung pagiging madaldal ko or mahilig mag-organize is hindi lang siya for me, it’s meant to serve others too. And I realized, serving doesn’t have to be super big. Kahit small things like helping a friend na down, or volunteering sa church or school project, that’s already you being a good steward of God’s grace.
Also, the fact na we’re saved by grace? Hindi siya about pagiging perfect or mabait lagi — it’s more on recognizing na kahit flawed ka, you’re still loved. And dahil doon, you want to share that love with others. Parang, ' If God is patient with me, dapat ganon din ako sa iba.’
Lastly, sobrang thankful ako na I’m part of a community like this. Like, kahit mahirap minsan, you know someone’s praying for you or cheering you on. Kaya I also want to be that kind of person to someone yung source of encouragement.

Living a life focused on God is really important, especially now when the world is full of distractions and pressure. It's not just about being good on Sundays but about loving God fully every day—through how you treat people, face problems, and live with purpose.
One big challenge today is not getting carried away by the world’s toxic standards or trying to please everyone. That’s why Romans 12:2 is powerful—it reminds us to renew our minds daily and put God at the center again and again.
You’re also learning about stewardship—using your time, energy, and talents not just for yourself but to help others. Even small acts like helping a friend or volunteering already show good stewardship.
Knowing we’re saved by grace reminds you that even if we’re not perfect, we’re still loved by God. And because of that love, you also want to be more patient and kind to others.
Lastly, you’re really thankful for being part of a faith community. It’s comforting to have people who share the same goal and support each other in their walk with God. You also want to be someone who encourages and lifts others up.

The essence of the Christian life—love—is encapsulated in this text. Jesus condenses the entire law and the prophecies into two mandates that are intricately related. First and foremost, we are to love God with all of our hearts, souls, and minds. This is a complete submission to God's plan and presence, not a casual or ambivalent love. It entails prioritizing Him, seeking Him out every day, and lining up our desires with His truth.

To keep my life centered on God, I will read the Bible and pray every day. I will ask God to help me make good choices and follow His ways. I will try to be kind and honest in everything I do.
I can be a better steward by using my time, talents, and money to help others. I will not waste the things God has given me. I will do my best to serve God with a thankful heart.
This week, I can encourage a friend or family member who is feeling sad or tired. I can talk to them, pray for them, and remind them that God loves them. Small acts of care can help them feel stronger in their faith.

#DEVOTIONALWEEK6
To ensure my life remains God-centered, I can start by making time each day to pray and read the Bible, even if it’s just for a few minutes. I need to remember to put God first in all my decisions and trust Him more when challenges come. It’s also important to surround myself with friends who encourage me to grow spiritually. I can avoid things that distract me from my faith, like too much time on social media or negative influences. By focusing on God’s will, I can stay grounded and live in a way that pleases Him.
To be a better steward of God’s gifts, I will use my talents and time to help others and serve my community. I will take care of the resources God has given me, like my health and school materials, and avoid wasting them. I want to encourage my classmates and friends to grow in faith by sharing positive words and praying for them. This week, I plan to encourage a friend who has been going through a hard time by listening to them and reminding them of God’s love. Being kind and supportive shows that I care about others and helps build up my faith community.

WEEK 6: CORE VALUES: GOD-CENTERED
- For me to be a better steward of God ay unang-una ipagpapasalamat ko ang buhay na kaniyang ipinagkaloob sa akin. In this way, we can say that God gifted us life for a meaningful purpose.
I can help her/him by encouraging to pray together and by giving life advices na maaaring makapag-pagaan ng kaniyang loob. We will comfort them at sasabihin natin ang problema ay parte na ng ating buhay. Gaano man kabigat ang pinagdadaanan sa buhay as long as matatag ka at malaki ang tiwala mo sa Diyos, everything will be alright in God's perfect timing.

One of the biggest changes I can make is to be more intentional with my time. It’s so easy to get caught up in deadlines, social media, or just the busyness of student life. I think setting aside time each day, for prayer, reading Scripture, or just being still in God’s presence can help me refocus. Also, surrounding myself with people who encourage me in my faith through small groups or fellowship keeps me grounded and reminds me of what really matters.
