What is a Spiritual Birth?
New Creation Realities: Born into the Kingdom of God and Living in Christ
The concept of New Creation Realities unveils the spiritual transformation that occurs when a person is born again through faith in Christ. It’s a profound shift in identity, purpose, and destiny that begins with being born into the Kingdom of God and continues as Christ lives in us, bringing forth a new way of life.
This transformation is not just a one-time event but an ongoing process that molds believers into the image of Christ. It is a journey from the old life of sin and separation from God into the new life of righteousness, holiness, and communion with Him. The New Creation Reality represents a believer's position and experience in Christ, empowered by the Holy Spirit, where they move from the old self to the fullness of life in Christ.
1. Born into the Kingdom of God: The Beginning of the New Creation
The journey begins when a person is born again by accepting Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior. This act of faith brings them into the Kingdom of God and marks the beginning of a new life.
John 3:3 (KJV) clearly states this necessity for entering the Kingdom:
"Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God."
This rebirth is not a physical change but a spiritual one. It signifies the believer's transition from the old, sinful nature to a new, redeemed existence in Christ.
Through this rebirth, believers become children of God and heirs to His promises. They are no longer defined by their old identity, shaped by sin and the world, but by their new standing as citizens of God's Kingdom. This shift is central to understanding what it means to be a new creation in Christ. As 2 Corinthians 5:17 (KJV) declares,
"Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new."
This new birth brings with it a transformation in status—believers are no longer alienated from God but reconciled and adopted into His family. They begin a journey of spiritual growth, where their lives are increasingly conformed to the image of Christ, the King of this new kingdom.
2. New Life in Christ: Christ Living in Us
The new creation reality is not just about a fresh start; it is about a new life powered by Christ living in us. The transformation that begins with being born into the Kingdom of God is sustained and carried forward by the indwelling presence of Christ through the Holy Spirit.
Galatians 2:20 (KJV) captures this powerful truth:
"I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me: and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself for me."
In the new creation, the believer’s old self is crucified with Christ, and they are resurrected to live a new life, one where Christ’s life becomes the driving force.
When Christ lives in us, we experience a profound shift in how we live, think, and act. Our decisions are no longer rooted in selfish desires but are guided by the Spirit of God. We begin to walk by faith, empowered by Christ, who lives and works in and through us. This new life is not lived by human effort but by dependence on God’s grace and the power of the Holy Spirit.
3. Conformed into Christ’s Image: Growing in the Likeness of Christ
The journey of the new creation is a continuous process of being conformed into the image of Christ. The new man, as described in Ephesians 4:24 (KJV),
"is created in righteousness and true holiness."
This means that the new life in Christ involves not just a change in identity but also a change in character and conduct.
As believers grow in their relationship with Christ, they are transformed into His likeness. This transformation is not instantaneous but occurs progressively as they yield to the work of the Holy Spirit, who molds them to reflect Christ’s righteousness and holiness.
This transformation is described in 2 Corinthians 3:18 (KJV):
"But we all, with open face beholding as in a glass the glory of the Lord, are changed into the same image from glory to glory, even as by the Spirit of the Lord."
The more believers gaze upon Christ, through His Word and in prayer, the more they are changed into His image, reflecting His love, grace, humility, and holiness.
This conformity to Christ's image is part of the New Creation Realities. Believers are not just forgiven; they are being transformed into Christ's likeness, moving from the old sinful nature to embodying His righteousness.
4. New Creation Realities: A New Identity and Victory in Christ
As part of the new creation, believers experience profound spiritual realities that redefine their lives. These realities include a new identity in Christ, the indwelling of the Holy Spirit, and victory over sin and the enemy.
Freedom from Sin: One of the core aspects of the new creation is freedom from the power of sin. As Romans 6:6-7 (KJV) states,
"Knowing this, that our old man is crucified with him, that the body of sin might be destroyed, that henceforth we should not serve sin. For he that is dead is freed from sin."
In the new creation, believers are no longer slaves to sin but are empowered to live righteous and holy lives.
Indwelling of the Holy Spirit: The Holy Spirit plays a vital role in the believer's new life. As Romans 8:9 (KJV) says,
"But ye are not in the flesh, but in the Spirit, if so be that the Spirit of God dwell in you. Now if any man have not the Spirit of Christ, he is none of his."
The Holy Spirit indwells believers, guiding, teaching, and empowering them to live in accordance with God's will.
Victory and Authority in Christ: The new creation reality also includes victory over the enemy. Luke 10:19 (KJV) promises,
"Behold, I give unto you power to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy: and nothing shall by any means hurt you."
Through Christ, believers are given authority to overcome the powers of darkness and live in spiritual victory.
5. Eternal Life and Future Glory: The Ultimate Fulfillment
The New Creation Realities are not just for this life but extend into eternity. Believers are promised eternal life through Christ, and they look forward to the future glorification when they will fully experience the realities of the new creation. Romans 6:23 (KJV) reminds us,
"For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord."
Eternal life begins the moment a person is born into the Kingdom of God, and it will be fully realized in the life to come. This includes the promise of resurrection and glorification when Christ returns, and believers will receive new, glorified bodies fit for eternal life in God’s presence.
Conclusion: Embracing New Creation Realities
The New Creation Realities reflect the profound transformation that occurs when a person is born again into the Kingdom of God. This new life begins when Christ lives in us and transforms us into His likeness. It is marked by freedom from sin, the indwelling of the Holy Spirit, victory over the enemy, and a new identity as children of God.
As believers, we are called to live in the fullness of these new realities, growing in righteousness and holiness, and awaiting the ultimate fulfillment of eternal life with God. The new creation is not just a change in status but an ongoing journey of transformation, where Christ’s life and character become increasingly evident in us. This is the New Creation Reality—a life empowered by Christ, sustained by the Spirit, and destined for eternal glory.
Now then we are ambassadors for Christ, as though God did beseech you by us: we pray you in Christ's stead, be ye reconciled to God.”

ReplyDeleteThis encourage me to read bible and learn more about christ. Based on what I've read if you are reborn again, christ will live on us and transfroms us into like his likeness. Kahit pla anong sama ng nagawa mong kasalanan ang panginoon ay papatawarin ka padin, but it doesn't mean na ipag patuloy mo parin ang gumawa ng kasalan. Learn from your mistakes. Because just think about it christ sacrifice his only son para lang maging kabayaran sa mga kasalanang nagawa natin.

ReplyDeleteThis reading reminds me that being a Christian is more than just going to church or obeying the rules. It is all about allowing Jesus to be in me and guide me in my life. Being born again means leaving my old ways and allowing God to shape me into a new and better person. I want to become more like Jesus, walk in love, and trust the Holy Spirit to help me to live a better life or live a life pleasing to God.
ReplyDeleteSpiritual birth is parang new life pero hindi sa body kundi sa spirit.
ReplyDeleteIt means nagbabago ang heart and mind ng tao, at nagsisimula ng bagong buhay with God.
Through spiritual birth, natututo tayo to avoid sin and choose what is right.
A life without feeling the presence of God is like living in the dark, people has different perspective in life, being born again is the beginning of our new journey of hope where God reminds us that our past no longer needed to prove who we are now, wee might be broken but he made sure to pick up every piece of us to shape into a new one. The weight of our sins are forgiven for he never fails us to look for the brighter side. The presence of God in my life comes with a comfort and peace where I must say that I'm even happier with the things and decisions I made, as he shaped me day by day my struggles and sorrows transform into hope especially when I surrender everything to him, believing in him opens my heart that I maybe feeling lost but his plans are powerful and he will surely finish what he started in me.
ReplyDeleteHis words encouraged me to live with a purpose for my life long journey it is his way to prepare me to be a new creation living with gratitude and deeper faith in him especially this life belongs to him and everything's safe and controlled with his power and love.
From the text, Spiritual Birth is the process of being reborn through the virtue of God and the faith in Christ. It is living through the world of God. It diverts your focus and life towards God and Christ as well as their teachings. It is not a simple promise, but a lifelong commitment to fulfill one’s purpose in this world. Therefore, a student with unwavering dedication and love to his work and to everything that he does, guided by the virtue of God, attains the ultimate success everyone should achieve in life: finding the purpose as to why we are here, and a connection with God. That is why everyday, I try my best to show up and do something, kahit minsan ay watak-watak ang daan patungo sa tagumpay sa buhay na aking tinatamasa.
ReplyDeleteThe idea of a spiritual birth means a brand new start in life through faith in Jesus Christ. It’s like being born again, but not in a physical way. This new birth means leaving behind an old way of living that was separated from God and beginning a new life connected to Him. When someone believes in Jesus, they become part of God’s family and start a new journey to live like Him.
ReplyDeleteThis new life is possible because Jesus lives inside believers through the Holy Spirit. It changes how they think, act, and make decisions. Instead of living for themselves, they try to live in a way that pleases God, trusting Him to guide and help them. It’s not about just trying harder, but letting God’s power work in their hearts.
As people grow in this new life, they slowly become more like Jesus. They learn to show His love, kindness, and holiness in their everyday lives. This is a process that takes time and requires looking to Jesus for strength and example every day.

Without Christ, living is like trying to make sense in the world while never quite achieving it. There is a silent yearning for something more, despite the fact that it may be full of ambition, and even happy times. Your life seems to be lacking a piece all the time. It feels like you always craving for more and all you do feel like not enough.
Lacking to true peace, purpose, and eternal hope. But, when we're living with guide of the Lord in our life. When we're living for his purpose and faith to him. We can slowly feel complete and living our life to the fullest. To start a life with christ we should know the "ABC". This are the foundational steps of entering into a relationship with Jesus. A – Admit, Admit that you are a sinner and need forgiveness. These are the first step toward repentance and recognizing our need for a Savior. B – Believe, believe that Jesus is the Son of God, that He died for your sins, and rose again. This belief is the foundation of Christian faith. C – Confess, Confess your faith in Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior. This is a public declaration of your commitment to follow Him.
These ABCs aren't just a one-time decision—they're the beginning of a lifelong journey of transformation, grace, and purpose in Christ. Believing in Christ transforms life from the inside and out. It’s not just a change in behavior it’s a change in identity, perspective, and purpose. Faith doesn’t remove life’s challenges, but it changes how you face them. Instead of fear, you feel peace even in chaos—because you know you're not alone. It’s not always easy, but it’s always worth it. Life with Christ is a journey of transformation, filled with joy, resilience, and eternal hope.

For me, a spiritual birth means experiencing a turning point in life where I realize that there is something greater than myself. It is when I acknowledge my weaknesses, mistakes, and limitations, but at the same time feel the grace of being given another chance to grow and live rightly. This “rebirth” is not just about following religious practices, but about allowing my inner self to be reshaped by love, faith, and hope.In a way, spiritual birth is like shedding an old skin. The old self filled with pride, selfishness, or confusion slowly fades, and a new self is born that seeks peace, wisdom, and compassion. It is a journey where I become more conscious of how my actions affect others, and more open to forgiveness and healing.

Part 1 – Spiritual Journey: New Creation Realities
What is spiritual birth?
Personally, spiritual birth means starting a new beginning with Christ, parang new identity and new life. Sabi nga sa John 3:3, “Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.” so unless we are born again, we cannot see the Kingdom of God. Kaya being “born again” is a spiritual transformation na nagbabago ng purpose, direction, at buhay natin bilang anak ng Diyos.

What is Spiritual Birth?
Spiritual Birth
- is the experience of being born again, not in the physical sense but in the spiritual, where a person undergoes a deep transformation inside his heart and soul, and unlike physical birth that happens only once when a baby comes into the world, spiritual birth can happen at any stage of life, at the moment when someone chooses to repent from sins, to believe in God, and to receive His Spirit into their life. It is called muling kapanganakan sa espiritu because it feels like a new beginning where the old self with all its wrongdoings, doubts, and worldly desires is left behind, and a new self emerges that is more aware of God’s will, more conscious about living rightly, and more at peace with life.
The process of knowing Christ is not a one-day transformation, but a life long journey.
ReplyDeleteHe wanted us to be Christ-like, but how? Through redeeming and accepting Him, we are beginning a new spiritual life. It is so easy to talk about wanting to have a life through God, but so hard to find where and when to start. This text made me realize that as long as you are ready, He is, too. He lives within us, we carry Him with us, and He is just waiting for us to call His name and accept Him in our lives. We may have not been the kindest and the most righteous person existing, but we all have equal chances to change. Our mistakes and past doesn't define us, because God does. The only thing that matters is that He loves us that much that He wanted us to see the Kingdom of God.
This makes me realize that I live in the world that full of sins and isa ako sa mga taong nakagawa ng mga kasalan. Nobody's perfect everyone make mistakes but knowing Christ and accepting His in our life will change everything. It's like a open door for our new beginning, hindi tayo ipapanganak ng physical but we will born in spiritual. Where God is the center of our lives, kung saan ang Panginoon ang siyang mangunguna sa atin, sa bawat decions sa ating buhay. All of our sins will remain in our old self or in the past, and our new self will live in God's will. Being with God, I know that I'm not alone to every battles that I will facing in the present or even in the future. I'm hundred percent safe because I have God that will protect me from enemy and He will guide me to the path that I will go through. Being born spiritually makes you doing good things, away from sin and most importantly preparing you for eternal life.
ReplyDeleteAfter reading about the Spiritual Journey and New Creation Realities, I realized na ang pagiging Kristiyano is more than just believing or going to church, it’s about truly living in the Kingdom of God with a new identity. Once we accept Christ, our old life is gone and we start fresh, hindi na tayo defined by our past mistakes but by being children of God. The devotion reminds us that being part of His Kingdom means living under His rule, guided by His Word, and transformed by His Spirit. Ang sarap lang isipin that He gives us not only forgiveness but also the power to live differently, to walk in freedom, and to grow closer to Him araw-araw. What stood out to me most was the reminder na araw-araw, God is shaping us to reflect Christ’s image. It’s a process minsan mabagal, minsan mahirap but it’s beautiful and worth it. Being in Christ also gives us a new mission to live with purpose, shine His light, and glorify Him. At yung promise of eternal life and future glory gives so much hope, knowing na lahat ng struggles at pain natin are never wasted. This devotion encouraged me to keep deepening my walk with God, to trust His process, and to choose Him every day.

As a student, madalas kasi nakakaramdam ako ng pressure, stress, at minsan temptation na mag-give up. Hindi ibig sabihin na perfect na ako, pero unti-unti, God is teaching me to change my mindset and actions. Ang ganda rin ng idea na we are being "conformed into the image of Christ". Hindi siya one-time change, kundi journey na araw-araw, little by little, God is shaping me. Bilang student, malaking bagay 'yung alam mong may bagong identity at victory in Christ. Kasi kahit maraming struggles sa studies, relationships, or sa sarili, may assurance ako na hindi ako nag-iisa.

This piece on "New Creation Realities" really challenged me to think about what it means to be a Christian. It's not just saying you believe in Jesus, but it's a complete transformation, being "born again." Sabi nga, when we receive Jesus, we enter God's Kingdom, and we're only starting. It's a process of becoming more and more like Christ, of Christ living through us. We're supposed to be led by the Holy Spirit, not just our own selfish impulses. And as we become more like Christ, we're changed, becoming more like Him in love, grace, and humility. We have a new nature and sin no longer has dominion over us, the Holy Spirit dwells in us, and we have victory over the enemy. But there's even more; this new life is forever. That promise of eternal life should affect how we live now, aware that we were destined for glory with God. It's reminding me that there is a Spirit filled life to be lived, a transforming journey to make and an eternal glory to be reached through the gospel.
As I read this devotional about spiritual birth and new creation realities, I was reminded that my faith is not just about attending church or saying I believe in God, but about truly experiencing a new life in Christ. To be “born again” means to leave behind my old self and start living with a new identity as a child of God. This really touched me because sometimes I still struggle with my weaknesses, but this lesson reminded me that God has already given me a fresh start through Christ.I realized that becoming a new creation is not an instant change but a journey where God continues to shape me into His image. The promise of eternal life also gives me hope to keep living with faith, knowing that my life now has purpose in Him.

Every time na nahihirapan ako physically and mentally, sinisisi ko Siya. I used to question him WHY? Ano ba ang mga kasalanan ko? And habang nagrereflect ako, na-realize ko na marami pala akong nagawang mali, marami akong kasalanan. Whether a small mistake, sin pa rin yun kay God. And I deserve the punishments I had.
Now it's clear. Being "Born Again" doesn't mean to be born again biologically. But a lifelong journey with our Lord Jesus Christ. It's all about accepting Him through the Holy Spirit. Devoting into Him, surrendering my soul because I know that I had Him.
What I understand about what I watched in "The Gospel in 5 Minutes" is that it explains the word of God or Christianity and the gospel within five minutes. So, it already includes the topics about how God created everything, how people sinned, how Jesus was sent to be the Savior, how He died for us, how He resurrected, and lastly, how we can receive forgiveness."
ReplyDelete
The Gospel? It really is, quite simply, about love. It tells the tale of how much God loves us and sent Jesus to guide us. Jesus' life, death, and resurrection were all intended to give us a fresh start. It's not merely an ancient tale; if you allow it, it has the power to completely transform you. It causes you to reflect on your own life. Trying to live as Jesus did is what it means to think about the gospel every day. Making a difference in the world, showing compassion, and forgiving others. Doing something is more important than merely attending church or reading the Bible. It's about adding a little brightness to the world.
ReplyDeleteLesson 1: Spiritual Birth
ReplyDelete
In my own understanding, spiritual birth is like hitting the reset button in my life through faith in Jesus, offering a chance to start over with a clean slate, just like when I declutter my room and feel refreshed. It's not just a one-time event but a whole new way of living, where I guided by goodness instead of being held back by bad habits, like choosing to exercise instead of watching TV. Think of it as becoming a kid again, full of wonder and possibility, but this time, I’m part of God's loving family, leaving behind my old self and stepping into a fresh, new beginning, like starting a new job with excitement and hope.
This change means that Jesus starts living in you, walking alongside you and helping you make better choices, guiding you to become more like Him in every way, like choosing to listen to a friend instead of getting defensive. It's a journey of growing in love, kindness, and strength, learning to forgive and finding joy in serving others, like volunteering at a local charity or simply helping a neighbor. With this new life comes the promise of a life that lasts forever, filled with purpose and meaning. You get a new identity, a sense of belonging, power over negativity, and the unwavering hope of a perfect future with God, where you'll experience complete peace and happiness, like the feeling you get after a long day when you finally come home to a warm and loving family.
Spiritual birth or “born again” is not about physical death or the death of judgement day. This event happens the moment you truly and fully accept God/Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior. The message shows that being born again is about a true transformation— a life with God that sit by your side and letting his Spirit guide our daily life.

What is spiritual birth?
For me, spiritual birth is when you have committed sins, everything you do is pure sin, then you go back to him, ask for forgiveness for all you have done, because no matter what sin it is, he will accept you as long as you ask for forgiveness with all your heart and believe and put him first, spiritual birth is when you accept Christ in your life again, give your whole heart to him, that is spiritual birth for me.

PART 1 – SPIRITUAL JOURNEY
This reminds us that the Christian life is a journey and we need to trust God and let Him guide our lives. It is all about how a person changes when they believe in and follow Jesus. It's like being born again, but spiritually. It's not just an outward change, but also in your heart and mind. When you accept Jesus, you're like having a new life and becoming part of God's kingdom. With the help of the Holy Spirit, you can fight temptation and live according to God's will. Being a Christian means you have a new identity and can overcome challenges. God promises eternal life to those who believe in Jesus.
what i understand about what i read is how God created everything, and how Jesus save us from our sins.
Based on the video that I've watched, the learnings that I've got there is that God does everything just to pay for all our sins. He sent his son Jesus Christ just to redeem our sins. He bore the pains and sufferings that we should have endured. So what we should do is turn away from sin and walk from darkness towards goodness. Manalig at magtiwala tayo sa kaniya. Let us fully accept our Lord in our hearts so that we may be transformed. Because he is the only way to repent all our sins. Share the words of God. Share the Gospel to your friends, to your family, to your neighbor, and to all people.
ReplyDeleteThe spiritual transformation that occurs when a person is born again through faith in Christ is called "New Creation Realities." This change is a process that never stops and shapes believers into the image of Christ. It is a journey from a life of sin and being far away from God to a life of holiness, righteousness, and closeness to God. When someone accepts Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior, they start to change into a new person. This act of faith brings them into the Kingdom of God and starts their new life.
ReplyDeleteWhile reading the devotion, it reminds me that being "born again" is more than just a fresh start or being mapapangalanan as Christians, it’s a ongoing transportation and a whole new way of living. Meaning that I’m no longer tied to who I used to be.My past mistakes doesn't define who I'm now, but I’m learning each day to walk in the identity God has given me. It’s not always easy, but with the faiths help, I’m being shaped little by little into who God created me to be.
ReplyDeleteThe video “The Gospel in 5 Minutes” reminds us that faith is not just belief but a shield that protects us from doubts, temptations, and struggles. By keeping our faith strong, we can conquer the life’s challenges and live out the gospel daily. The video shared that Jesus died for us because He took upon Himself our sins and chose to save us despite our wrongdoings. Kaya matutu tayo sa ating mga kasalanan and improve ourselves, for Christ has set a good example for us. Even if we fall into sin repeatedly, He continues to accept us again and again, for that is how great God’s love is. We must learn to put our faith in Him, for He is truly our Savior.

This rebirth is not merely a change in belief but a deep, inner transformation that affects every aspect of a person's life. It often involves a shedding of old habits, thoughts, and perspectives, allowing for a renewed sense of purpose and direction.
Romans 6:23 (KJV)
"For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord."
- It states that the result of sin is death, which can be understood as spiritual separation from God and ultimately physical death. This emphasizes the seriousness of sin and its impact on our lives.

"Living with God is a journey to paradise." -Jesalyn De Leon
As I grew up, there are strings of disappintments, setbacks, and failures happened to me. And I know that it can also happen to all kinds of people from all walks of lifee. Noon, ang alam ko ay minamalas lang ako sa buhay "malas naman!".Yan ang kataga na palaging naririnig sa'kin kung may 'di magandang bagay ang nangyari sa araw ko.But being born again, new realization hits me and a new perspective slapped me na kung saan sinabi ko sa sarili ko na "kung namulat na ako sa liwanag, isa akong hangal kung pasisiil muli ako sa kadiliman" It is where I learned na lahat ng ito'y malalampasan kung alam nating tanggapin nang buong puso ang diyos na siyang maglalagay sa'tin sa tamang daan na dapat tahakin. We struggle as we experience the dark phase of life whuch bring us a sense of hopelessness, but if we live with God's grace we will know that God has purpose. Only God can give us an answer to our unanswered questions. We can achieve the life na kung ang saan puro puno ng pag-asa ang nakapaligid sa'tin. Oftentimes, we feel a bit stuck but remember that God works on our new vision.Noong bata ako naalala ko, nagdadasal lang ako kung kelan may kailangan at kung kelan may bagay na gustong mapa sa'kin, but being born again, I realized that we need God through the waves of time.
I open my heart to accept God's teachings and I align my soul to his will. That's how I became part of God's kingdom.

Being born again is more than simply a one-time experience, it marks the start of a totally new life in Christ. When we say "yes" to Jesus and accept him as our Lord and Savior, something amazing occurs within us. We are spiritually reborn, welcomed into God's Kingdom, and given a new identity as his children. So spiritual birth is more than simply the beginning, it is a wonderful, lifelong transformation. It's about living each day with Christ at the center, believing that He is shaping, leading, and preparing us for eternal life with him.

This teaching is about spiritual birth. It means starting a new life with Jesus. Our body stays the same, but our heart and spirit change. When we believe in Jesus, we become new people. We leave our old, sinful life, and become God’s children. We also have the gift of eternal life. One day, we will live with God forever in heaven. In short, being born again is a new, happy life with Jesus. God helps us grow each day and prepares us for life with Him forever.

REFLECTION:
Upon reading the passage about Spiritual Birth and New Creation Realities I reminisced the moment when I started as a Christian, before as verses in the passage stated that we are all sinners and I agree I'm one of them, I remember mocking my sister for she's doing like praying or something that she's doing for the Lord, so yes I'm also one of the persecutors before but God really has a purpose and He has chosen me and I'm beyond grateful for that. We've been tackling this at our church before but it's so refreshing to read and remember it again. Some may say that being baptized is to be baptized in that religion but this passage clearly state that being baptized is to be born again, and to be born again is in spirit not with denominations. I love how it clearly said that our life as a Christian doesn't end when we've been born again, actually it's just the start of how we live our life for Christ and to live like Christ, it's a progress.
It's true that when we've been born again, we are progressively transformed by the Lord from the very little things up to the bigger one, just like having peace and satisfaction you don't feel before you've been born again and be part of the Kingdom of God. Also, we have our new identity and victory in Christ so we should not let the enemy win against us, remember that we are now a new creation in Christ and no longer slave of sin so we should not let our past define us, we have been forgiven so we should also live by the fruits of the Holy Spirit.
And the most awaited and be grateful for is for us having eternal life when we accept Jesus as our Lord and Savior and live according to His words and will. Remember it's a gift from God, so it's up to us if we will accept it or not and so for me, I'm accepting it wholeheartedly and wanted others to accept it too and experience the life living for Christ because it's worth it. Our life here on earth is just temporary so what's the point wasting it for things just for this world but not for eternity? This passage is a wakeup call for us to accept Jesus and don't decline His calling. We should be a Christian not just by words but also in actions, show the Lord that we love Him by obeying His will.

Reflection:
The idea of spiritual birth serves as a reminder to me that following Christ entails a total metamorphosis rather than merely a choice. Not only do we start anew when we are "born again," but we are completely transformed into new beings. We undergo a spiritual rebirth that transforms our identity, mission, and prospects.
We are no longer characterised by our sin or history when we are born into God's Kingdom. Rather, we are now heirs to God's promises, His offspring, and citizens of His Kingdom. This serves as a very potent reminder that who we are in Christ, not what we have accomplished, determines our identity and value.
Ultimately, everything becomes clear when one considers the possibility of eternal existence. The splendour that awaiting us outweighs the difficulties and trials we are currently facing. This new life in Christ takes us throughout eternity, not just today.
All of this serves as a reminder that living a Christian life is about accepting the reality of what Christ has already accomplished and allowing that truth to transform everything, not about trying harder.

This “New Creation Realities: Born into the Kingdom of God and Living in Christ” really lays out what it means to be spiritually reborn through faith in Jesus. It shows that being born again isn’t just a change in belief, it’s a total transformation of who we are, our purpose, and our connection to God. Scriptures like John 3:3 and 2 Corinthians 5:17 back it up powerfully.
It also highlights how Christ lives in us through the Holy Spirit, giving us strength to live right, walk in freedom, and overcome the enemy. It’s a solid reminder that this new life is about growing to reflect Christ, not by our own effort but through the Spirit working in us. Clear, encouraging, and rooted in truth, great for both new believers and anyone wanting to go deeper in their walk with God.
I appreciate that his new life isn't something I navigate with my own power. I appreciate how 2 Corinthians 3:18 describes us as being "transformed into the same image from glory to glory." That's a daily stroll, and I wish to continue agreeing to that change.
Being born again isn’t all about my eternal destination but it’s also about my daily life. It's not always simple, but having His Spirit within me assures that I’m never on this path by myself

Upon reading about the spiritual birth, for me it means starting a new life with Jesus. It’s not about being born again as a baby, but about letting God change my heart and letting god enter my life wholeheartedly. When you accept Jesus, You become part of God’s family and He gives me a fresh start because when you are in Christ, you are a new person. Your allowing Jesus to be with you and be your guide in your life. As the Bible says in 2 Corinthians 5:17, “If anyone is in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.” This verse is a powerful reminder that In Christ, you are not stuck-you are being renewed. You have a fresh start, a clean slate, and a God who never gives up on you.
Having Jesus in my life also helps me to become a better person. He teaches me patience, kindness, and forgiveness, even when it’s not easy. I realize that living with God means not just thinking about myself, but also learning how to care for others. When I let Him lead the way, I grow not only in faith but also in character. My spiritual rebirth is not a one time moment but a daily choice to follow Him and trust His plan for me.

WHAT IS SPIRITUAL BIRTH?
answer:
For me, spiritual birth is about experiencing a real change inside. It’s not something you see physically, but something you feel in your heart and mind. As a student, I face a lot of pressure—whether it’s in school, relationships, or even my personal struggles. Spiritual birth, for me, means learning to let go of my old ways like bad habits, doubts, or even negativity, and starting fresh with God as my guide.
It’s like a reset button, where I learn to live differently—not perfect, but more conscious of my decisions and actions. I see it as being given a second chance, not just to survive life but to live it with purpose and hope. Spiritual birth reminds me that I am loved, forgiven, and valued, no matter how many times I fail. In short, it gives me strength to move forward and inspires me to grow not just as a student, but as a person who wants to live meaningfully.

It is our way to end our sins by accepting Jesus Christ as our Lord and Savior. This is not just a one-night process but requires continuous faith and belief in the Lord, but the result is a new life with a new identity, and a new purpose. The concept of new creation realities teaches us that even if we are sinful, we can transform ourselves to be a person that has faith in God by believing Him as our savior. It is not about the church or religion but about the faith that we have for God. He brought his son to come down from heaven and was crucified to sacrifice his life to us for our sins, with his Holy Spirit, it is the life of Christ that is living in us. With all steps made, God is always there with us even if we cannot see him, but with the Holy Spirit, he is with us. Transforming our life to become Christ-centered is not just believing but also having trust for God, and He will give you direction for the life we’re longing for, the eternal life.

After reading the text, I realized that just because we are born sinners does not mean we have to be sinners forever. And just because our lives are imperfect doesn't mean we will commit sin. No one is perfect in this world and life is not easy for everyone. Everyone faces challenges and struggles in everyday, but we must always choose to be righteous and to be good. Although, sometimes we still make mistakes and sins. However, as long as we open up our hearts and minds to God, he will guide us in our lives and will help us transform ourselves into a better one. Just like how He sent Jesus into this world so He can save us from our sins. Wherein, through His salvation we are saved and we are able to live again. God is merciful and forgiving. However, transforming ourselves into a better one needs our continuous and lifelong effort. God's mercy alone is not enough for us to cleanse our sins and soul, but also needs our actions. These actions should be done not only once but everyday. It is because transformation is an ongoing process and not just a one-time event.
Transformation is hindi agad-agad nangyayari. Mayroon akong bagong buhay at bagong purpose.

For me, the message of New Creation Realities is about the change that will happen when we accept Jesus as our Lord and Savior. Being born again is not just a religion but a true change inside us. Sabi sa John 3:3 , we cannot enter the Kingdom of God unless we are born again, means that our old sinful life is replaced with a new life in Christ.
Pero sa New Creation Reality, may nabasa akong paalala ni Cristo: “The old has gone, the new has come.”

The New Creation Realities reminds me na once we are born again, nagbabago talaga ang lahat. Parang wala pa akong personal na relationship with Him, pero dumating iyong time na nagpabaptize ako. Doon nagsimula yung journey ko with Him.
Hanggang ngayon, I’m still figuring out paano pa mas magbago at mas mapalapit kay God. Pero nare-realize ko na ang pagiging new creation is not just one-time change, journey siya, araw-araw na transformation. Step by step, Christ’s character is becoming more evident o present sa buhay ko, at hindi dahil sa sarili kong lakas kundi dahil sa Spirit na naggaguide sa akin.
Kaya kahit hindi pa ako perfect, I know na I’m already living the New Creation Reality, empowered by Christ, sustained by the Spirit, and growing day by day sa new identity ko as a child of God.

Through him we become a new soul dedicated to him. Though changing the old me into new one is an ongoing process. As a read transformation is not one take. It's takes a while to change the way we live . But as I start to live with his guidance and accept him as our lord the savior. I notice how my life change, I suddenly have purpose in my life and that is to glory him. His presence give me guidance and reminder that he is just here who guide me in every decision I have shielding me to any selfish desires. When I let him enter my life , I slowly follow his word, in every action I do I always put god first. From the day we born again , God help us win over the darkness through his word and presence. The worry we fell about our future lessen with his word. And thats make me realize how God slowly transform me . We might not be perfect that we still make mistakes but we slowly repent to him and know where to ask forgiveness if we make mistakes. as I slowly feel how powerful and deeply God love us, from forgiving us from our sin and mistakes by also providing us eternal life in his kingdom once we acknowledge him as one and only god.

When I reflect on spiritual birth and New Creation Realities, I see that faith is not just a change in belief but a complete rebirth of identity. Being born again means stepping into a new life where sin, fear, and the past no longer define us we are God’s children and heirs to His Kingdom. This gift of grace brings daily renewal, as the Holy Spirit shapes us into Christ’s likeness, teaching us to walk in freedom, righteousness, and purpose.
Our old self is crucified with Christ, so we now live by His Spirit, not our own strength. Every decision becomes a chance for His life to shine through us. Transformation is ongoing “from glory to glory” as God molds our hearts and deeds to reflect His love, humility, and grace.
The new creation reality also gives victory over sin, hope in struggles, and assurance of God’s presence. Most of all, it points us to eternity: the promise of resurrection and glorification, where we will be fully free in His Kingdom. This truth calls me to live now with faith, courage, and joy, knowing the best is yet to come.

For me, after reading, spiritual birth is the moment when a person experiences a new beginning in their spiritual life. It’s not a physical birth, but a transformation that happens in the heart and soul. This occurs when someone recognizes their need for God, turns away from sin, and puts their faith in Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior. It marks the start of a personal relationship with God and a new way of living guided by His truth, love, and purpose. Just as physical birth brings us into the world, spiritual birth brings us into a new life with God, where we become spiritually alive and part of His family.

Reading about this topic reminds me that following Christ is not just about having a religion it’s about a deep and life-changing relationship. Being “born again” is more than just a phrase, it is the moment when we surrender our old ways and allow Christ to live in us. It’s not about perfection, but about transformation, step by step, growing into who God wants us to be.
ReplyDeleteThe idea of becoming a “new creation” gives me hope. No matter what my past looks like, God offers me a fresh start. I don’t have to be defined by my mistakes or weaknesses because He has given me a new identity as His child. That truth alone brings peace and purpose.
Lastly, the promise of eternal life reminds me that this journey is not just for today but for forever. Every struggle and every step of growth is leading toward the day when I will be with God completely. Until then, my role is to keep walking in faith, to let His image be seen in me, and to live in the reality that I belong to Him.

FRIDAY(2:15-3:15)
To my point of view to the spiritual birth means experiencing a new life through faith in Jesus Christ, where a person’s heart and spirit are renewed by the Holy Spirit, so that instead of living only for worldly desires, they begin to live with a new identity as a child of God, walking in love, forgiveness, and purposelike being “born again”
Spiritual birth, is the profound experience of being “born again,” where through faith in Jesus Christ and the work of the Holy Spirit, a person’s heart, mind, and spirit are completely renewed, transforming them from living a life focused on sin and worldly desires to a life guided by God’s love, truth, and righteousness, enabling them to experience forgiveness, peace, and a deep connection with God, while also giving them a new identity as His child, a fresh perspective on life, and the ability to live with purpose, hope, and eternal significance,

What is spiritual birth?
Realize that this part doesn't mean na usually what we know na "birth". To us, as a human being, this solely focus on our transformation when we start accepting God to our lives, in our hearts and in every action we're doing in everyday life. In short, it's aligning ourselves/oneself to Him and letting God be part of us, and us be part of Him.
But we must do remember that transformation is a process, that it takes time to grow and transform.

After reading, I believe that a person's spiritual life begins anew at the moment of spiritual birth. It is a metamorphosis that takes place in the heart and soul rather than a physical birth. This happens when a person acknowledges their need for God, repents of their sin, and accepts Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior. It is the beginning of a new way of living that is based on God's truth, love, and purpose as well as a personal relationship with Him. Spiritual birth brings us into a new life with God, where we become spiritually alive and a member of His family, much like physical birth brings us into the world.

Based on my understanding, spiritual birth is not just about restarting our life but rather a change in our character and conduct into aq better version. The more we depend our life into Christ, the more we shape our image into his likeness, reflecting his unconditional love, grace, humility, and holiness. Through his rightful guidance, we will now be destined for eternal glory.

CV3 - Unboxing Life
Every human can't prevent the temptation of sin/s. I agree with that. We can't prevent such BUT we can avoid it through God's spirit. After reading the passage, it reminded me again that living a life without God is like living your life with no purpose, only darkness that will possibly lead your decisions into sinful acts that human can do. I, as a student, has a purpose and in order to find my purpose, I must start by believing and having faith with God.
A person can make a sin with or without knowing. The new creation of realities realigns our directions of life, realigns our way of thinking, behavior, decisions and actions, this means that hindi pa huli ang lahat para magbago kahit subukin man tayo ng panahon. This past few weeks, life's been tough for me, I started thinking what if I should give up nalang? Then suddenly I remembered that God has a plan for me. And suddenly halos lahat ng naka paligid saakin always told me that "everything happens for a reason, just trust in God", and unti-unti kong na realized na siguro nararanasan ko ito para mapalapit ako lalo kay God. And with that, nagkaroon ako ng hope, to continue. And that explains the passage, without God, hindi ma-a-align yung way of thinking natin, maaaring makagawa tayo ng mga bagay na hindi dapat gawin at kung nakagawa man tayo ng pagkakamali, hindi pa naman huli ang lahat para magbago at makalaya mula sa sarili nating mga kasalanan; God will always be there waiting for us to go and talk to him and I know he is willing to forgive us because God has mercy gaano man kabigat ang mga kasalanang nagawa natin. :)
Having read Parts 1 through 5 of the blog “‘What is Spiritual Birth?” seemed like a gentle opening of a door to a deeper understanding of the true nature of rebirth in Christ. This is more than a change of perspective. It is totally transformation of identity, purpose, and destiny. The first part again highlighted to me that spiritual birth is an invitation from God into His Kingdom in which I am no longer defined by my past but rather fat by the very grace that surrounds me at this moment. As I read through the second and third parts, I was in awe of the beauty of surrender-how Christ, not only walks with me but within me, ordering my thoughts, choices, and even capacity to love. Being conformed into His image is not about striving for perfection but rather releasing His Spirit to gently form me day by day. In Part 4, I felt a rush of hope-the new life is set in motion. I am reminded of the spiritual authority that I carry, not because of who I am, but because of who He is in me. Finally, Part 5 lifted my gaze away from the present. Eternal life is not just a promise for the future; it starts here and now, a still small voice assuring me that with every step I take in faith, I am moving closer to glory. Altogether, these reflections stirred something deep in me: a longing to live not just as someone changed, but as someone chosen, empowered, and eternally loved.

ReplyDeletePart 1: Spiritual Journey
After reading Part 1, the only thing that stuck in my mind is "When you are in Christ, you are a new creation." It reminds myself that there is an ongoing process that molds believers into the image of Christ. I push myself too hard to meet a standard and to be pleasing in the eyes of those who see me because I am a believer. I fear that they won't see God in my life, but I still gave them reasons to be disappointed. There was a time that I condemned myself because I am a sinner, I continuously do sin even though I am a believer. After all, the only One I need is God. I still continue attending church and reading my Bible even when they say "stop, because you still sin anyway." I started from the beginning no matter what they say because I believe that my greatest audience is my God. My actions are aligned with His desires, and I surrender it all to Him. Truly, God is very good to us because despite our sins, He is still willing to forgive and accept us as His children.

Spiritual birth is being able to become connected with God and to accept that He is the savior that everybody needed. It is being able to trust and believe that He is the only way. By accepting Him, it also a person's responsibility to reflect from their sins and correct or to accept its consequences.
The teaching on new creation shows me that my true identity is no longer defined by my past mistakes but by Christ who lives in me. It is encouraging to know that I am a child of God, forgiven and set apart for his purpose.

Even though I deserve punishment, God gave me the gift of eternal life through Jesus. It gives me hope that no matter the struggles I face, my future is safe in Christ, at balang araw kapag ako’y kinuha nya na, ako ay magiging payapa at masaya sa piling nya.

I learned that spiritual birth is about starting a new life with Jesus. It’s not just about changing on the outside but being transformed on the inside because Christ lives in us. As a student, I realize that following Christ means letting Him guide my thoughts, actions, and even my decisions in school or with friends. Sometimes I still make mistakes, but I’m reminded that it’s a process. I can keep growing little by little to become more like Him.

The term spiritual rebirth, or being "born again," means experiencing a new transformation, starting a fresh life in the presence of God and becoming part of the kingdom of Jesus Christ.
Some people misunderstand the meaning of being "born again," thinking it refers to a religious organization or denomination. But this is not the case. Being born again is not about joining a group; it is a personal experience—a spiritual renewal.
For me, being born again means beginning a new life, turning away from sin, and accepting God as my salvation. It's about leaving behind a life that is drowning in sin and choosing to live with a purpose guided by God.
When we say "born again," it carries a deep and personal meaning. It is about a conscious decision to live a life according to God's will, to accept Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior, and to walk in faith every day. It is a new beginning, a life led by God’s purpose.
Being born again also means pagtanggap at pag-amin ng ating mga kasalanan, recognizing our sins and slowly letting go of them with the help of God's grace. It's a process, not an instant change. When you become a Christian, God will challenge you. Sometimes, you may feel like giving up, but often, that’s part of His plan to mold you, to train you, and to make you a better servant of God.
There may be times when you ask, “Is there really a God?” or when doubts cloud your faith. But that’s part of the journey. God allows those moments to deepen your understanding and trust in Him. Along the way, He will send people into your life to help you see your purpose as a Christian.
Being a Christian means knowing that God saved you from death. He sacrificed His life, ipinako Siya sa krus para tubusin tayo. He is our Redeemer. But life becomes even more meaningful when you allow God to guide you.
When you live under God's direction, your life finds true purpose, peace, and hope, even in trials. That’s what it truly means to be born again, not a religion, but a relationship with God.

Reading the article about spiritual birth really made me think about where I am in life right now. As the oldest daughter in my family and a college student, I feel a lot of pressure to have everything figured out, but honestly, I don’t always. The idea of spiritual birth as a fresh start or a kind of awakening feels really relevant to me. It’s like it’s not just about being born physically, but about being born inside, starting over mentally and emotionally.
Sometimes I feel stuck in old habits or worries, especially with school and family expectations. But the idea of spiritual birth reminds me that I can let go of those and become someone new. It’s a chance to grow and to make choices based on who I really want to be, not just what others expect from me.
I also realized that being spiritually “born again” is an ongoing process, not something that happens once and never again. It’s about constantly learning and changing, which feels comforting because it means it’s okay to make mistakes and keep trying.
As the oldest sibling, I want to be a good example for my siblings, and this reflection reminds me that leading with faith and inner strength is more important than being perfect. It’s about showing them that we can all change and grow, no matter what.
Overall, this article helped me see that spiritual birth is a hopeful promise of new beginnings, and I’m ready to embrace that as I navigate college and life beyond

The journey of spiritual birth reveals the incredible transformation that begins the moment a person is born again into the Kingdom of God. This new life is not simply a fresh start but a profound rebirth where Christ takes residence within us, changing our identity and destiny. It is a journey from sin to righteousness, from separation to intimate communion with God, empowered by the Holy Spirit.
As believers, we are called not only to embrace this new identity but to grow continually into the likeness of Christ, reflecting His love, holiness, and victory over darkness. This spiritual transformation is a lifelong process marked by grace, faith, and hope, hope rooted in the promise of eternal life and future glory with God. To receive the gift of salvation, we must not only confess Jesus as Lord but also believe in His resurrection with all our hearts. It is through this act of faith that we are reconciled to God. salvation isn't just a one-time acknowledgment, it requires a continuous, heartfelt surrender of our lives to His will. This means trusting in His divine guidance, allowing Him to shape our decisions, and living according to His teachings. We align our hearts with God's purpose and open ourselves to the transformative power of His love and grace.

DEVOTIONAL WEEK 1: SPIRITUAL BIRTH
When we believe in Jesus, we are born again. We become part of God’s family and start a new life. Our old life is gone, and we are made new. Jesus lives in us and helps us grow and live for God. We are not alone—His Spirit gives us strength. Each day, God helps us become more like Jesus. One day, we will live with Him forever.
YOUTUBE VIDEO: THE GOSPEL IN 5 MINUTES
After watching the video, I have realized that no one can forgive just like how God forgives us. He is so patient that no matter how you’ve become worse, He will forget it and put those in the past once you accept Jesus Christ in your life, because He is the only way through God. The 4 things we have to do to avoid falling into temptations are: 1) Always give time to pray, 2) Read the Bible everyday, 3) Make fellowship with other Christians that have the same beliefs as yours. And lastly, 4) Share the word of God to the whole world. So, if you want to receive the gift of God, and to live with Him forever, is to repent and surrender.

One thing I'd realized after reading and watching the content is that the has always been with us. From the time we were born, He's always been with us. And the time I knew that God is always here, is when I surrendered my life to him. All the things I did is to glorify him. Then things slowly changing in a positive way. I began appreciating the world. Even the smallest things that I didn't noticed, I began to appreciate all thanks to God. God's grace is always been with us and all we need is to believe and surrender to Him.
