Unit 6 – Lesson 14: Being a Light in the World
Lesson Objectives:

I. Introduction: What Does It Mean to Be a Light?
📖 "Ye are the light of the world. A city that is set on an hill cannot be hid." – Matthew 5:14
🔹 Jesus calls us to be a light in the darkness.
🔹 Light guides, reveals, and brings hope.
🔹 When we follow Jesus, our lives should reflect His goodness.
💡 Discussion Question: How can a small light make a big difference in a dark place?
II. Biblical Examples of Shining for God
✅ 1. Jesus – The True Light of the World
📖 "Then spake Jesus again unto them, saying, I am the light of the world: he that followeth me shall not walk in darkness, but shall have the light of life." – John 8:12
- Jesus is the perfect example of what it means to be a light.
- He showed love, spoke truth, and served others.
- When we follow Jesus, we become like Him and shine His light.

III. How Can We Be a Light in the World?
