🔥 HOLY GHOST NIGHT SERMON
“THE RIVER IS FLOWING: FROM PROPHECY TO POWER TO GLORY”
Key Text: Revelation 22:1 (KJV)
“And he shewed me a pure river of water of life, clear as crystal, proceeding out of the throne of God and of the Lamb.”
🕊️ INTRODUCTION: THERE IS A RIVER
Tonight is not just another gathering.
Tonight is an invitation.
There is a river:
Not natural… but supernatural
Not visible… but powerful
Not limited… but overflowing
And that river is flowing right now.
🌊 I. THE RIVER IN PROPHECY (EZEKIEL 47)
“A Vision of What Was Coming”
Ezekiel 47:1 (KJV)
“...waters issued out from under the threshold of the house…”
Ezekiel saw something mysterious:
A river flowing from the Temple
It started at the ankles…
Then knees…
Then loins…
Then waters to swim in
🔑 Revelation:
This river represents the increasing life of God
Where the river flows:
Dead things live again
Dry places become fruitful
Healing is released
👉 But here is the truth:
Ezekiel saw it… but could not enter its fullness
It was prophecy without possession
🔥 II. THE RIVER RELEASED (PENTECOST – ACTS 2)
“From Vision to Experience”
Acts 2:4 (KJV)
“And they were all filled with the Holy Ghost, and began to speak with other tongues…”
What Ezekiel saw…
👉 The disciples experienced
Jesus declared:
John 7:38–39 (KJV)
“Out of his belly shall flow rivers of living water… (this spake he of the Spirit…)”
🔑 At Pentecost:
The river was no longer in a temple building
The river moved into people
👉 The believer became:
The temple
The vessel
The carrier of the river
⚡ III. THE RIVER IN YOU (TODAY BY FAITH)
“Not Just History—Present Reality”
Many believers are saved…
But not yet overflowing
They are:
At ankle level… just enough to survive
At knee level… occasional encounter
But God is calling you tonight…
👉 TO SWIM
🔥 The Question Tonight Is Not:
“Is there a river?”
🔥 The Question Is:
“Are you in the river?”
💥 IV. THE EVIDENCE OF THE RIVER (BOOK OF ACTS POWER)
When the river flows:
1. Boldness comes
Acts 4:31
They spoke the Word with boldness
2. Supernatural power manifests
Acts 5:15
Even shadows healed the sick
3. Revival breaks out
Acts 2:41
3,000 souls in one day
4. Regions are transformed
Acts 19:10
“All Asia heard the word…”
👉 This is not history to admire
👉 This is a pattern to experience
🌊 V. THE FINAL RIVER (REVELATION 22)
“The Eternal Fulfillment”
Revelation 22:1–2 (KJV)
The river flows from the throne…
The tree of life brings healing…
This is the destination:
No more death
No more dryness
No more limitation
👉 But hear this:
What will be fully manifested then…
can already be experienced now—by the Spirit
🔥 VI. THE CALL: STEP INTO THE RIVER
Ezekiel 47:3–5 shows progression:
Ankle → Knee → Waist → Overflow
Tonight, God is asking:
Will you stay shallow?
Or will you go deeper?
🙌 HOW TO RECEIVE THE HOLY GHOST (ALTAR CALL FLOW)
1. Hunger
Matthew 5:6
“Blessed are they which do hunger and thirst…”
👉 Desire is the doorway
2. Faith
Luke 11:13
“How much more shall your heavenly Father give the Holy Spirit…”
👉 It is a gift—receive it
3. Surrender
Lift your hands
Open your heart
Yield your tongue
👉 Let the river flow
🔥 PROPHETIC DECLARATION
Tonight:
Dry bones will live again
Empty vessels will overflow
Silent mouths will speak
Weak believers will become powerful witnesses
🌊 FINAL EXHORTATION
You are not called to visit the river…
👉 You are called to live in it
You are not just saved…
👉 You are a carrier of the river
🔥 CLOSING PRAYER (MINISTER THIS SLOWLY)
“Father, in the Name of Jesus,
We come hungry… we come thirsty…
Let the river flow tonight!
Fill every vessel…
Baptize with the Holy Ghost and fire!
Let rivers of living water flow out of every believer!
We receive it by faith…
We step into the river…
We will not stay shallow!
In Jesus’ Name… Amen.”
