Jack Hayford (b. 1934) is the influential Pentecostal pastor of Church on the Way in Van Nuys, California, and the author of many popular books and contemporary praise songs, including “Majesty.”

(The song “Majesty,” lovely though it is, promotes the unscriptural “kingdom now” philosophy, in which Christians are thought to be able to exercise kingdom authority over sickness and the devil in this present hour. This is what the words “kingdom authority” refer to in Hayford’s song.)

Hayford belongs to the Four Square Pentecostal Church, a denomination founded by Aimee Semple McPherson in direct disobedience to the Word of God. “But I suffer not a woman to teach, nor to usurp authority over the man, but to be in silence” (1 Tim. 2:12).

Christianity Today magazine calls Hayford “The Pentecostal Gold Standard” (Christianity Today, July 2005), but when his theology and practice are examined we find that his position is not the untarnished gold of Scripture but the rust and corrosion of extra-biblical “revelation.” Speaking at St. Louis 2000, for example, Hayford said that his daughter approached him one day with a concern about her “tongues speaking.” She was afraid that she was speaking mere gibberish, but he encouraged her that the believer must first learn to speak in baby tongues before he speaks in adult tongues. (I attended this conference with press credentials and heard Hayford say this.) There is absolutely no Bible support for such nonsense and it denies the Pentecostal’s claim that the Bible is his sole authority for faith and practice. Biblical tongues-speaking is not something that be learned; it is supernatural gift and there is not one example in the New Testament of someone learning how to speak in tongues.

At the Promise Keepers Clergy Conference in 1996 Hayford urged the crowd of 40,000 to “dance in the Lord,” saying that he learned the dance in Africa and that later the Lord said to him, “May I have this dance?” An eyewitness called it “an African witch-doctor dance” (Bruce Caldwell, “Following in the Footsteps of the Apostate Presbyterians,” Christian News, March 11, 1996). Nowhere in the Bible do we find God dancing with His people. Further, the Bible plainly warns, “Learn not the way of the heathen” (Jer. 10:2).

Hayford claims that he got his radical position on ecumenism directly from God. He says that in 1969, as he drove near a large Catholic church in Southern California, God spoke to him and instructed him not to judge Roman Catholicism. He says he heard a message from God saying, “Why would I not be happy with a place where every morning the testimony of the blood of my Son is raised from the altar?” (“The Pentecostal Gold Standard,” Christianity Today, July 2005). Based upon this “personal revelation,” Hayford adopted a neutral approach to Catholicism, yet upon the authority of the Bible we know that the message that Hayford heard was demonic. The atonement of Jesus Christ is NOT glorified on Roman Catholic altars. The mass is an open denial of the doctrine of the once-for-all atonement that we find in the book of Hebrews. Note what the official Vatican II Council said about the mass: “For in it Christ perpetuates in an unbloody manner the sacrifice offered on the cross, offering himself to the Father for the world’s salvation through the ministry of priests” (The Constitution on the Sacred Liturgy, “Instruction on the Worship of the Eucharistic Mystery,” Intro., C 1, 2, p. 108). This is only a small part of Rome’s wicked heresies, and it is impossible that God would encourage Jack Hayford to look upon the Roman Catholic Church in any sort of positive, non-judgmental manner. If Hayford based his theology about the Roman Catholic Church strictly upon the Bible, he would never fall for such delusion.

Hayford has acted on this “personal revelation” by yoking up with Roman Catholic leaders in conferences throughout the world. For example, he joined hands with thousands of Roman Catholics, including hundreds of Catholic priests and nuns, at the North American Congress on the Holy Spirit & World Evangelization in St. Louis in 2000.

Hayford was a featured speaker at John Wimber’s 1991 conference in Sydney, Australia, joining hands in that forum with Catholic priests Tom Forrest and Raniero Cantalamessa and Catholic layman Kevin Ranaghan. Speaking at Indianapolis ’90, Forrest said he praises God for purgatory. Cantalamessa was the papal preacher at the Vatican. Ranaghan claims that the Roman Catholic Church alone contains the fullness of God and truth and that the pope is the infallible head of all churches. Hayford put his stamp of approval upon these men’s heresies and became partaker of their sins by appearing with them and treating them as if they were true men of God.

Hayford is on the Board of Regents for Melodyland Christian Center, which has a close relationship with Roman Catholicism. A fellow board member is Roman Catholic Fred Ladenius, author of Amazing John XXIII, a book fully supportive of the pope by that name, a pope who died with a Rosary in his hand and prayers to Mary and Catholic “saints” on his lips.

Hayford also has a close relationship with heretic Robert Schuller. He spoke at Schuller’s Men’s Conference at the Crystal Cathedral in March 1995 and in January 2005 and endorsed Schuller’s 1996 autobiography, My Soul’s Adventure with God. In 1982, Schuller published Self-Esteem the New Reformation in which he twisted Bible theology to conform to his humanistic psychology. According to Schuller, sin is “any act or thought that robs myself or another human being of his or her self-esteem” (Self-Esteem: The New Reformation, p. 14). Schuller’s christ is “self-esteem incarnate” (p. 135). His new birth is to be “changed from a negative to a positive self-image” (p. 68). His hell “is the loss of pride that naturally follows separation from God” (p. 14). To Schuller, the most destructive thing is to call men lost sinners and thereby injure their self-esteem (Christianity Today, Oct. 5, 1984). Schuller is a universalist who believes that all people are the children of God. (For more about Schuller see “Evangelicals and Robert Schuller” at www.wayoflife.org)

Friends, beware of Jack Hayford and beware of those undiscerning Christian bookstores that sell his books. There is great spiritual danger in the average Christian bookstore today.

Hayford represents the spiritual deception and the great danger that is represented by the contemporary praise movement.

Trump orders firing of all ‘Biden-era’ US attorneys

WASHINGTON — President Donald Trump said Tuesday that he has ordered the firing of all remaining US attorneys nominated by his predecessor Joe Biden.

“Over the past four years, the Department of Justice has been politicized like never before,” Trump posted on his Truth Social platform.

“Therefore, I have instructed the termination of ALL remaining ‘Biden Era’ U.S. Attorneys,” he said.

“We must ‘clean house’ IMMEDIATELY, and restore confidence,” Trump added. “America’s Golden Age must have a fair Justice System – THAT BEGINS TODAY!”

It is standard practice for an incoming president to replace the federal prosecutors, known as US attorneys, nominated by their predecessor.

There are 93 US attorneys, one for each of the 94 federal court districts in the country. Two districts share a US attorney.

US attorneys are the top federal law enforcement officer in each district.

A number of US attorneys nominated by Democrat Biden resigned following Trump’s November election victory in anticipation of being replaced.

The Justice Department, which Trump has accused of unjustly prosecuting him, has been the target of a sweeping shakeup since the Republican took office and a number of high-ranking officials have been fired, demoted or reassigned.

Among those sacked were members of the office of special counsel Jack Smith, who brought two now-abandoned criminal cases against Trump.

The acting US attorney for the powerful Southern District of New York, a Trump appointee, resigned last week after being asked by the Justice Department to drop corruption charges against New York Mayor Eric Adams.

Trump team makes radical U-turn on Covid vaccine

Trump team makes radical U-turn on Covid vaccine

Story by Connor Boyd Health And Science Editor For Dailymail.Com and Luke Andrews Senior Health Reporter For Dailymail.Com

Covid vaccines could be suspended for all age groups in America under radical new plans backed by key health figures in the Trump Administration.

Several experts poised for top jobs in US health agencies subscribe to the disputed idea the shots are causing widespread side effects and deaths.

Dr Jay Bhattacharya, who has been nominated to lead the National Institutes of Health (NIH), has backed a petition calling for the mRNA vaccines to be paused and retested, DailyMail.com can reveal.

He is one of the signatories of the Hope Accord, which claims there is a 'casual link' between the mRNA shots and an alarming rise in excess deaths worldwide.

DailyMail.com also understands Robert F Kennedy Jr has privately expressed concerns about the vaccines and signaled he is open to axing them if the data supports it.

Other key advisors to Kennedy have promoted conspiratorial views on social media about the Covid vaccines, including that the shots killed more people than they saved.

Dr Aseem Malhotra, a British cardiologist being considered for a health advisory role in Kennedy's new health departments, has called for the jabs to be suspended and and reassessed.

Outside the health agencies, Kash Patel — who has been nominated as FBI director — previously promoted bogus supplements that 'reversed' the supposed damage caused by Covid vaccines.

How a ban would be implemented is still not clear. A total ban would require the FDA withdrawing its approval status for safety or effectiveness reasons.

During his first term as president, Trump spearheaded the development of the shots in record time which was widely regarded as a medical breakthrough.

The mRNA vaccines made by Moderna and Pfizer are estimated to have saved tens of millions of lives globally, including 3million in the US.

President Trump has been reluctant to take credit for the achievement in recent years, however, for fear of alienating his core voter base which has become skeptical of the shots.

But he has signaled his support of other vaccines, including the polio vaccine — which he praised as the 'greatest thing' and said he was a 'big believer' in.

The Covid vaccines have been linked to a small risk of heart damage and Guillain-Barre syndrome, where the immune system attacks nerves, causing pain, fatigue and numbness.

Data from the US Covid vaccine injury compensation program suggested that 14,000 people had filed claims for injury or death they claimed were caused by the Covid vaccine as of December 2025, out of the 270million Americans who received at least one dose of the vaccine.

Dr Paul Offit, a vaccines expert at the Children's Hospital of Philadelphia, told DailyMail.com this highlighted that the vaccines were not dangerous.

He said: 'The vaccines have been given to billions of people at this point, and there were large prospective placebo-controlled studies that didn't show these effects.

'As the vaccines were rolled out, not everyone got them at once... and this staggering would tell you if something is a problem that was not picked up in clinical trials.

'We picked up myocarditis during this... we even picked up Guillain Barre syndrome, which has a rate after vaccination of around eight in a million.

'We would have easily picked up [these excess deaths and purported links to cancer] if true, and we haven't picked this up.'

It states: 'This new technology was granted emergency use authorisation to address a situation that no longer exists.

'Going forward, the burden of proof falls on those still advocating for these products to compellingly demonstrate that they aren't resulting in net harm.

'Until such evidence is presented, regulators should suspend their use as a matter of standard medical precaution.'

At his senate confirmation hearing, RFK Junior said he didn't know whether Covid vaccines work.

'I don't know,' he told senators, 'we don't have a good surveillance system.'

Del Bigtree, communications director for Kennedy's presidential bid, has previously suggested Covid vaccines are causing excess deaths and leaving people vulnerable to infections.

He said in January last year in an open letter: 'An experimental vaccine with a deadly track record was "warp-speeded" onto the market and mandated for every arm in the country.

'Nearly four years later, excess mortality is at an all-time high. Heart attacks in children are now commonplace.'

He added: 'The vaccine has proven to have negative efficacy, causing people to be more prone to infection than doing nothing at all.'

DailyMail.com has reached out to the White House and Kennedy's teams for comment.

Musk warns of America's collapse if DOGE work isn't carried out

Musk warns of America's collapse if DOGE work isn't carried out

Story by Brittany Chain For Dailymail.Com

Elon Musk has warned that America could collapse if DOGE does not succeed in its plan to root out and eliminate wasteful spending.

The billionaire Tesla founder has been given sweeping powers to overhaul and purge government departments, sparking mass protests across the nation as Democrats lament his heavyhanded approach.

But in a sit down interview with Fox's Sean Hannity, Musk and President Donald Trump justified the actions of DOGE with a chilling warning to the general public.

'America will go bankrupt if this is not done,' Musk said.

'If we don't solve the deficit there won't be money for medical care, there won't be money for Social Security.

'We either solve the deficit or all we'll be doing is paying debt. It's got to be solved or there's no medical care. There's no Social Security, there's no nothing.

'It's got to be solved. It's not optional... if the ship of America sinks, we're all going down with it.'

Musk also addressed a fantasy idea that 'people can escape to New Zealand or some other place.'

'If the central pillar of Western civilization, that is America, falls, the whole roof comes crashing down, and there is no escape.'

The billionaire duo are calling on rich people to step up and 'care more about the country.

'There's a lot of rich people out there,' Musk, the world's richest man, said.

'If America falls, what do you think's gonna happen to your business? What do you think? Do you think you're gonna be okay if the ship of America sinks?'

Trump has repeatedly praised Musk for the work he's carrying out with DOGE and doubled down on that in his Hannity interview, saying: 'It was important for people to understand he's doing a big job.

'He's doing a very thankless job. It's really a thankless job. But he's helping us to save our country. Our country is in serious trouble. And I had to get the best guy.'

Labor unions, Democrats and disgruntled federal employees have filed several lawsuits in an effort to stop DOGE or slow its momentum.

White House deputy press secretary Harrison Fields celebrated several DOGE victories by noting that Musk and his 'nerdy army' of employees are 'following the constitution to a T.'

He said: 'The continued successes in the courts in favor of the Trump administration shouldn't be a surprise to anyone who has ever read our great Constitution, which clearly lays out the role of the Executive Branch, and which President Trump and his entire administration are following to a T.

'The resistance campaign can try, but they will continue to fail in their pursuit to rewrite the Constitution and deny the people the legal authority of the President to run the Executive Branch.'

This comes in spite of Musk last week warning 'lawfare has gotten out of control' amid the ongoing legal battles.

Musk and Trump maintain they've got a great working relationship despite external forces trying to 'drive them apart.'

In the most recent example of collaborative efforts between the President and his First Buddy, Trump signalled he is considering Musk's pitch to give American taxpayers a 'DOGE dividend' amid ongoing efforts to claw back missing billions.

On Tuesday, Musk vowed to 'check with the president' after investment firm CEO James Fishback suggested giving taxpayers a slice of the savings in the form of a tax refund.

Trump responded on Wednesday to confirm he was weighing its benefits, which Fishback had calculated could result in every taxpayer receiving $5,000.

Speaking from Miami Beach, Trump said: 'There's even under consideration a new concept where we give 20 per cent of the DOGE savings to American citizens.'

He said another 20 percent would go toward 'paying down debt.'

'The numbers are incredible, Elon, so many billions - hundreds of billions - and we're thinking about giving 20 per cent back to the American citizens,' he added.

If it goes ahead, the policy has the potential to put thousands of dollars back into the pockets of taxpayers at a time when rising costs are making it increasingly difficult for middle Americans to stay afloat.

Mysterious stem cells: Unraveling the mystery (Part 4)

Mysterious stem cells: Unraveling the mystery (Part 4)

Mysterious stem cells: Unraveling the mystery (Part 4)© Provided by Inquirer

I will now summarize my long conversations with Dr. Daniel Block and Dr. Andres Morato, report on my own healings, and venture my personal views on the mystery of stem cells.

NO REJECTION OF THE STEM CELLS FROM THE EMBRYO of the cancer-resistant black sheep had been reported since 1931 when Dr. Paul Niehans discovered and started practicing the living cell therapy (LCT), and continued by his assistant, Dr. Siegfried Block, and thereafter by his daughter, Dr. Petra Block, and his grandson, Dr. Daniel Block. Moreover, their healing success is 86 percent.

Over 2,500 of these black sheep roam freely in the Block family’s 25 square-kilometer, jungle-like farm in Landsberg, Germany. The clinic specifically selects first-time mother black sheep to slaughter for their good health and optimal condition to bear high-quality offsprings. Seventy sheep are chosen initially for every batch of patients. Then, a week prior to the treatment, 20 are quarantined and two to three days prior, two of the best are slaughtered.

Within 40 minutes from the slaughter, the embryo’s parts are quickly cut to an emulsified state in their EU-certified laboratory and brought in measured syringes for injection to specific patients. Hence, the treatment is called a “living cell,” not powdered or frozen cell. Though at times, the healing is “instant,” it normally takes four to 10 weeks from the injection for the results to become evident.

THUS, 10 WEEKS AFTER, I REQUESTED DR. DENNIS SERRANO (ON OCT. 23) to evaluate my LCT. After initial tests, he said, to my utter joy, that the cancer cells in my prostate were “inactive” and that my PSA was an incredibly low 0.33. He canceled my hormone treatment and decreased my intake of Duodart to only twice a week. In turn, I advised him that my lumbar pain had not recurred since July; my tennis and golf swings were more robust; and I could walk briskly, and waltz, tango and swing nonstop for 30 minutes. However, I felt only a little improvement in my carpal tunnel and varicose veins.

Dr. Serrano will conduct more extensive tests at the end of this month to have a more definitive conclusion on my prostate. He assured me, however, that my physical, mental, and sexual agility are more than adequate. I will keep my fingers crossed and continue praying for God’s will for me.

Meanwhile, I will continue to fast intermittently to keep my weight below 70 kilos, exercise in the gym and play tennis on Mondays and Fridays, golf on Wednesdays and Saturdays, walk briskly around the Manila Polo oval on Tuesdays and Thursdays, and use my treadmill at home on Sundays.

I will also persist in (1) stimulating my brain (for I will lose it if I do not use it), (2) attending, 100 percent, all the meetings of the boards and committees of corporations, foundations, and associations I am a director, officer or member of, (3) mediating disputes among corporate and political giants, (4) socializing, traveling, dining and laughing with my family and close friends, and (5) writing my columns, also 100 percent.

I HAVE BEEN ENAMORED BY SCIENCE AND TECHNOLOGY since my high school days. In fact, my ambition was to be a chemical engineer. How I became a lawyer instead is another story. In my 2003 book, “The Bio-age Dawns on the Judiciary,” I wrote, “… while still trying to adjust to the transformational shifts of the information age, the world is once more buffeted by a new phenomenon—the completion of the human genome sequence on April 14, 2003. This is a momentous scientific achievement with far-reaching consequences for all of humankind, including the men and women of the judiciary.

“The term ‘genome’ refers to the totality of genetic information in a human being. Because of the completion of the sequencing project, scientists now have a complete list of the relevant parts of the human gene. It is as if all the parts of an airplane have been inventoried, thereby presaging the inevitability of assembling them into a new flying machine or—if such machine has already been assembled—of scientifically repairing a worn-out one. The completion of the project makes it possible for scientists to study, experiment on, modify or alter genetic structures to prolong life and hasten the pace of evolution.”

Taking off from this completion, Dr. Jennifer Doudna and her team invented the CRISPR-Cas9 genome editing technology to cut out defective parts of a person’s genome and insert new ones, thereby banishing organic diseases and defects to re-engineer life. For this feat, Dr. Doudna was awarded the Nobel Prize. To my mind, that feat may be the secret of stem cells—their natural ability to stimulate, revitalize, and restore the patient’s weakened tissues and organs.

To me also, more mysterious than stem cells is the fertilization of the egg by the sperm and the resulting zygote’s ability to divide itself and grow rapidly into different body parts without human intervention. This is the great mystery of life that only God can create and unravel. In the end, I can only conclude that all things begin and end with the Lord. And I can only exclaim, again and again, “To God be the glory!” and to paraphrase St. Augustine, “My heart had been restless till it rested in Christ Jesus.”

Registering Your Church Organization

Difference Between Sole Proprietorship
and Sole Corporation

1. Sole Proprietorship

A sole proprietorship is the simplest and most common business structure in the Philippines. It is owned and managed by a single individual who is personally liable for all debts and obligations of the business.

  • Legal Identity: No distinction between the owner and the business.
  • Liability: The owner has unlimited personal liability for debts and legal obligations.
  • Registration: Registered with the Department of Trade and Industry (DTI).
  • Taxation: The owner pays personal income tax based on the business earnings.

2. One-Person Corporation (OPC or Sole Corporation)

A One-Person Corporation (OPC) is a corporation with a single stockholder. Unlike a sole proprietorship, an OPC has a separate legal identity from its owner.

  • Legal Identity: Separate legal entity from the owner.
  • Liability: The owner’s liability is limited to the assets of the corporation, protecting personal assets.
  • Registration: Registered with the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC).
  • Taxation: The corporation pays corporate tax, and the owner is taxed separately on dividends.

Which is Ideal for a Church or Faith-Based Organization in the Philippines?

Neither sole proprietorship nor sole corporation is ideal for a church or faith-based organization. Instead, the best legal structure would be a Religious Non-Stock, Non-Profit Corporation, registered with the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC).

Why Choose a Non-Stock, Non-Profit Corporation?

  1. Churches and Ministries Are Not Owned by Individuals

    • A Sole Proprietorship means the church is personally owned by one person, which contradicts the biblical and legal nature of churches as collective bodies.
    • A Sole Corporation (OPC) is a for-profit entity designed for businesses, not religious organizations.
  2. Non-Profit Corporation Provides Legal Protection and Tax Exemptions
    • A Non-Profit Corporation is recognized as a separate legal entity. It can apply for tax-exempt status, allowing donations to be tax-deductible.
    • Unlike a sole proprietorship, the founder or leader is not personally liable for church debts.
  3. Accountability and Governance
    • A faith-based organization should have a board of trustees or directors to ensure transparency and accountability, which is a requirement for a Non-Profit Corporation but not for a Sole Proprietorship or Sole Corporation.
    • Biblical governance supports eldership and collective leadership rather than a single-owner model (Acts 14:23, 1 Timothy 3:1-7).
  4. Sustainability Beyond One Person
    • A Sole Proprietorship or Sole Corporation ceases to exist when the owner dies or resigns.
    • A Non-Profit Corporation ensures the ministry continues beyond the life of its founder through structured leadership succession.
  1. Legal Recognition as a Religious Organization
    • This allows the church to operate legally, own property, and receive donations.
  2. Limited Liability
    • The church leaders are not personally liable for the organization’s debts.
  3. Tax Exemptions
    • Religious organizations registered as non-stock, non-profit corporations are eligible for tax exemptions under Philippine law.
  4. Perpetual Existence
    • Unlike a sole proprietorship, which ceases when the owner dies, a corporation can continue indefinitely.
  5. Ability to Accept Donations and Tithes
    • A religious organization can legally receive and manage funds for church activities.

How to Register a Church as a Non-Stock, Non-Profit Corporation?

To register a faith-based organization in the Philippines:

  1. Reserve a Name at SEC (must include words like "Church" or "Ministry").
  2. Draft and Notarize the Articles of Incorporation and By-Laws (must state that the organization is religious and non-profit).
  3. Secure Endorsements from relevant agencies if necessary.
  4. Submit Documents to SEC for approval.
  5. Register with the Bureau of Internal Revenue (BIR) for tax exemptions and issuance of an official receipt for donations.

Conclusion

For a church or faith-based organization, a Religious Non-Stock, Non-Profit Corporation is the best legal structure in the Philippines because it provides legal protection, tax exemptions, and official recognition. A sole proprietorship or sole corporation (OPC) is not suitable because they are meant for profit-oriented businesses.
