Declaration of Support and Prayer for Israel

Declaration of Support and Prayer for Israel

As followers of Jesus Christ and believers in God's Word, we affirm our commitment to stand with Israel, praying for the nation and its people, that they may walk in the light of God’s promises and protection.

1. Support for Israel

We declare our support for Israel, the land that God has chosen as an everlasting possession for His people. As it is written:

"And I will establish my covenant between me and thee and thy seed after thee in their generations for an everlasting covenant, to be a God unto thee, and to thy seed after thee" (Genesis 17:7, KJV).

"Pray for the peace of Jerusalem: they shall prosper that love thee" (Psalm 122:6, KJV). We affirm our love for Israel and pray for peace to cover this land, trusting that God is faithful to fulfill His promises.

2. Prayer for Protection and Peace

We pray for God’s shield of protection over Israel, asking the Lord to be a refuge in times of conflict:

"The Lord bless thee, and keep thee: The Lord make his face shine upon thee, and be gracious unto thee: The Lord lift up his countenance upon thee, and give thee peace" (Numbers 6:24-26, KJV).

We pray for Israel’s leaders, that they may govern with wisdom and justice, guided by God’s hand, and for the people to be united in peace and strength.

3. Prayer for Spiritual Awakening

We pray that the people of Israel come to know the fullness of God’s love through the Messiah, Jesus Christ, and experience a spiritual awakening:

"And so all Israel shall be saved: as it is written, There shall come out of Sion the Deliverer, and shall turn away ungodliness from Jacob" (Romans 11:26, KJV).

May the Lord open their eyes and hearts, leading them to a deeper relationship with Him, through faith and revelation.

4. Standing with Israel in Faith

As a body of believers, we stand with Israel, recognizing the unique role that God has given this nation in His redemptive plan. We declare the Lord’s purposes will be fulfilled:

"For thus saith the Lord of hosts; After the glory hath he sent me unto the nations which spoiled you: for he that toucheth you toucheth the apple of his eye" (Zechariah 2:8, KJV).

"The Lord hath done great things for us; whereof we are glad" (Psalm 126:3, KJV). We are grateful for Israel’s heritage and the blessings that flow from its covenant with God.

Closing Prayer:

Heavenly Father, we lift up the nation of Israel before You. Surround her with Your protection, grant her leaders wisdom, and may peace flow through her borders. Reveal the truth of Your Son, Jesus, as the promised Messiah to the hearts of her people. We pray this in Your holy name, trusting in Your faithfulness to Israel and to all who seek You. Amen.
