For Philippine Schools – Aligned with DepEd’s Edukasyon sa Pagpapakatao (EsP) Curriculum

📌 Title:
“Walking in Wisdom: A Student’s Guide to Biblical Values in School and Life”

📌 Target Audience:
Grade Levels: Elementary (Grades 4-6), Junior High (Grades 7-10), and Senior High (Grades 11-12)
Settings: Public and private schools, Bible study groups, and school-based Christian clubs

📌 Purpose:
✔ To help students apply Biblical values in their daily lives.
✔ To develop godly character and leadership in school.
✔ To encourage prayer, Bible study, and personal reflection.

UNIT 1: THE BIBLE – OUR GUIDE FOR LIFE

📖 Key Verse: "Thy word is a lamp unto my feet, and a light unto my path."Psalm 119:105

Lesson 1: Why the Bible is Important for Students

  • What makes the Bible different from other books?
  • How does God speak to us through His Word?
  • Activity: Memorize Psalm 119:11 and write how this verse applies to your daily life.

Lesson 2: How to Read and Apply the Bible Daily

  • Steps to effective Bible reading and study.
  • Personal Devotional Guide for students.
  • Activity: Start a Bible Journal – Write a short reflection on a chosen verse each day for one week.

UNIT 2: GODLY CHARACTER IN SCHOOL

📖 Key Verse: "Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven."Matthew 5:16

Lesson 3: Honesty and Integrity

  • The importance of being truthful in school (Proverbs 12:22).
  • Avoiding cheating, lying, and stealing.
  • Activity: Write down a real-life situation where you had to choose between honesty and dishonesty. What did you do?

Lesson 4: Respect for Teachers and Classmates

  • How does the Bible teach us to honor our authorities? (Romans 13:1-2)
  • Dealing with difficult classmates in a Christ-like manner.
  • Activity: Group discussion – How can you show respect to your teachers and school staff daily?

Lesson 5: Diligence and Hard Work

  • Why is excellence important in school? (Colossians 3:23)
  • Time management tips for Christian students.
  • Activity: Make a Weekly Study Plan based on Biblical time management principles.

UNIT 3: BIBLICAL LEADERSHIP & SERVICE

📖 Key Verse: "But whosoever will be great among you, let him be your minister."Matthew 20:26

Lesson 6: Being a Christian Leader in School

  • How Jesus taught servant leadership.
  • Leading by example in the classroom and at home.
  • Activity: Write about a Christian leader you admire. What traits make them a good leader?

Lesson 7: The Power of Kindness and Encouragement

  • How small acts of kindness can reflect Jesus' love (Ephesians 4:32).
  • Activity: Random Acts of Kindness Challenge – Write down 5 kind things you can do for classmates this week.

Lesson 8: Overcoming Peer Pressure

  • How to stand firm in your faith in school (Romans 12:2).
  • Saying NO to negative influences.
  • Activity: Role-playing – Practicing how to respond to peer pressure in a godly way.

UNIT 4: PRAYER AND FAITH IN ACTION

📖 Key Verse: "Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God."Philippians 4:6

Lesson 9: Developing a Strong Prayer Life

  • Why is prayer important for students?
  • The ACTS Prayer Model (Adoration, Confession, Thanksgiving, Supplication).
  • Activity: Write a personal prayer for your school, teachers, and classmates.

Lesson 10: Trusting God in Difficult Times

  • How to handle stress, exams, and challenges with faith.
  • Bible stories of young people who trusted God (Daniel, David, Esther).
  • Activity: Write about a time when God answered your prayer or helped you in a tough situation.
