I. Introduction: What Does It Mean to Love and Serve Others?
📖 "By this shall all men know that ye are my disciples, if ye have love one to another." – John 13:35
🔹 Love is more than just words—it is shown through actions.
🔹 Serving others is a way to express God’s love in a practical way.
🔹 Jesus said that loving others proves that we are His disciples.
💡 Discussion Question: What are some ways we can show love to our family, friends, and classmates?
II. Jesus as the Greatest Example of Love and Service
✅ 1. Jesus Washing the Disciples’ Feet
📖 "If I then, your Lord and Master, have washed your feet; ye also ought to wash one another's feet." – John 13:14
- In Bible times, washing feet was a lowly servant’s job.
- Jesus, the Son of God, humbled Himself to serve His disciples.
- He taught us to serve others selflessly.
🔹 Lesson: True love is shown through humility and service.
✅ 2. The Good Samaritan – Loving Beyond Boundaries
📖 "Go, and do thou likewise." – Luke 10:37
- A man was attacked by robbers and left on the road.
- A priest and Levite ignored him, but a Samaritan helped him.
- Jesus used this parable to show that love is action, not just words.
🔹 Lesson: Love goes beyond differences—help others even if they are not like us.
III. How Can We Love and Serve Others?
📖 "For brethren, ye have been called unto liberty; only use not liberty for an occasion to the flesh, but by love serve one another." – Galatians 5:13
✅ 1. Show Kindness in Words and Actions
📖 "A soft answer turneth away wrath: but grievous words stir up anger." – Proverbs 15:1
✔ Speak words that encourage, not hurt.
✔ Be patient with others, even when they make mistakes.
✅ 2. Help Those in Need
📖 "Bear ye one another's burdens, and so fulfil the law of Christ." – Galatians 6:2
✔ Help classmates who struggle in school.
✔ Share food, school supplies, or time with those who need it.
✅ 3. Forgive Others and Let Go of Offenses
📖 "Be ye kind one to another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, even as God for Christ’s sake hath forgiven you." – Ephesians 4:32
✔ Do not hold grudges—choose to forgive.
✔ Be quick to say “I’m sorry” when you hurt someone.
✅ 4. Pray for Others
📖 "Pray one for another, that ye may be healed." – James 5:16
