God has never acted in redemptive history without first revealing His plans through the prophets (Amos 3:7). In this same wisdom, He has revealed in advance the unfolding of the last days, not to entertain our curiosity but to ready the Church and to warn the world.
II. WHY PROPHECY MATTERS TODAY
1. Prophecy Validates the Authority of Scripture
Only the God of the Bible declares the end from the beginning:
“Declaring the end from the beginning, and from ancient times the things that are not yet done…”
— Isaiah 46:10
Unlike false religions and occult predictions, Biblical prophecy is historically fulfilled and mathematically precise—such as the fulfillment of Daniel’s 69 weeks at Christ’s first coming.
2. Prophecy Awakens the Church to Watchfulness
“Therefore be ye also ready: for in such an hour as ye think not the Son of man cometh.”
— Matthew 24:44
The Lord Jesus repeatedly warned His disciples to “watch,” “pray,” and “be sober” in the face of His return (Luke 21:36; 1 Peter 4:7). The early Church lived with an urgent expectancy, not a vague hope. Prophecy is meant to awaken sobriety, repentance, and action.
3. Prophecy Produces Holiness and Purification
“And every man that hath this hope in him purifieth himself, even as he is pure.”
— 1 John 3:3
The expectation of Christ’s return motivates the believer to forsake sin, walk in holiness, and live for eternal rewards, not worldly approval. Prophecy purifies by aligning our affections with Heaven.
4. Prophecy Gives Us Comfort and Perspective in Suffering
“Wherefore comfort one another with these words.”
— 1 Thessalonians 4:18
In the face of persecution, death, or global shaking, prophecy reminds us: God is in control. Nothing surprises the Sovereign Lord. The righteous will not be forgotten, and the wicked will not go unjudged.
III. COMMON MISUNDERSTANDINGS AND EXTREMES
1. Avoidance of Prophecy
Many churches sidestep end-time themes due to fear of controversy or theological confusion. Yet this neglect leaves God’s people unprepared and vulnerable to deception (2 Thessalonians 2:10–11).
2. Over-Sensationalism
Others overemphasize prophecy, mixing it with conspiracy or setting dates. Jesus said: “But of that day and hour knoweth no man” (Matthew 24:36). Prophetic study must be anchored in Scripture, not speculation.
3. Spiritualizing Clear Events
Some traditions spiritualize events like the Millennium, the Rapture, or the Tribulation, denying literal fulfillment. Yet Jesus affirmed Daniel’s prophecies (Matthew 24:15), and Revelation speaks in definite timelines.
IV. THE BIBLICAL FOUNDATION OF PROPHECY
Prophecy is not marginal—it makes up over 27% of the Bible. The last book of the Bible is called “The Revelation of Jesus Christ” — not just of the future, but of who Christ is in His glory and coming kingdom.
The apostles consistently taught prophecy:
Paul spoke of the man of sin, the rapture, the resurrection (1 Thess. 4–5; 2 Thess. 2).
Peter warned of scoffers and coming fire (2 Peter 3).
John gave the most detailed prophetic vision (Revelation).
Jesus Himself gave Matthew 24–25 and the Revelation (Rev. 1:1).
These are not optional doctrines, but core to the apostolic teaching of the early Church.
V. HOW PROPHECY AFFECTS YOUR WALK
“Redeeming the time, because the days are evil.”

Urgency in evangelism

Confidence in God’s justice
You begin to live like a pilgrim, not a settler — longing for the city to come, not settling in Babylon (Hebrews 11:13–16).
VI. THE PROPHETIC MINDSET: UNDERSTANDING THE TIMES
“The children of Issachar… had understanding of the times, to know what Israel ought to do…”

Now more than ever, we need believers with prophetic intelligence — those who don’t merely read headlines, but interpret history through the lens of the Word.
God is speaking clearly in our day through:
Israel’s rebirth (Ezekiel 37)
Global shaking (Matthew 24:7)
The rise of lawlessness (2 Thessalonians 2:3)
The digital control system and economic surveillance (Rev. 13)
We must not sleep. We must not fear. We must watch and warn, as Noah did — a preacher of righteousness in a day of coming judgment (Hebrews 11:7).

CHAPTER 2: Daniel’s 70 Weeks and the Prophetic Timeline
Subtitle: Unlocking the Countdown of the End-Time Events
I. INTRODUCTION: WHY DANIEL’S PROPHECY MATTERS
One cannot understand the timing of end-time events without grasping the vision given to Daniel. Found in Daniel 9:24–27, this prophecy forms the spinal column of biblical eschatology. It reveals God’s appointed timeline for His dealings with Israel and the unfolding of the Messianic and Millennial Kingdom.
“Seventy weeks are determined upon thy people and upon thy holy city…”
— Daniel 9:24 (KJV)
This prophecy spans from the rebuilding of Jerusalem to the end of this present age, dividing history into three periods: 7 weeks, 62 weeks, and a final 70th week. The first 69 weeks (483 years) were fulfilled in detail with Messiah’s first coming, while the final 70th week (7 years) remains unfulfilled and reserved for the last days.
II. THE BACKDROP: ISRAEL IN BABYLONIAN EXILE
Daniel received this revelation while interceding for Israel’s restoration after 70 years in Babylon (Daniel 9:1–3). God responded not just with an answer concerning Israel’s immediate return, but revealed the complete redemptive timeline extending to the Millennial Kingdom.
God sent Gabriel to deliver a precise, mathematically exact prophecy:
“I am now come forth to give thee skill and understanding.”
— Daniel 9:22
The message was about “thy people” (Israel) and “thy holy city” (Jerusalem) — not the Gentile world, and not the Church. This is a Jewish prophecy, centered on Israel's national destiny.
III. THE SEVENTY WEEKS DEFINED
1. “Weeks” Means Seven-Year Periods
The Hebrew word translated as “weeks” is shabuim, meaning units of seven, commonly understood as seven years in prophetic language (cf. Genesis 29:27; Leviticus 25:8).
Thus, 70 weeks = 70 × 7 = 490 years
This 490-year period concerns:
“to finish the transgression, and to make an end of sins, and to make reconciliation for iniquity, and to bring in everlasting righteousness…”
— Daniel 9:24
These are redemptive and Messianic goals—clearly pointing to Christ and the eventual Kingdom Age.
IV. THE BREAKDOWN OF THE 70 WEEKS
1. The First 7 Weeks (49 Years)
“From the going forth of the commandment to restore and to build Jerusalem…”
— Daniel 9:25
This began with the decree of Artaxerxes to Nehemiah in 445 BC (Nehemiah 2:1–8). In 49 years, the walls and city were rebuilt.
2. The Next 62 Weeks (434 Years)
“Unto the Messiah the Prince…”
— Daniel 9:25
From 445 BC, counting 483 prophetic years (360 days each), leads precisely to the time of Jesus’ triumphal entry into Jerusalem — fulfilling Zechariah 9:9 and Daniel 9:25.
“And after threescore and two weeks shall Messiah be cut off, but not for himself…”
— Daniel 9:26
This speaks of Christ’s crucifixion — not for His own sins, but for ours.
3. The Gap (Church Age – Not Seen by Daniel)
“…and the people of the prince that shall come shall destroy the city and the sanctuary…”
— Daniel 9:26
This was fulfilled in 70 AD when the Romans destroyed Jerusalem, but the “prince that shall come” is the Antichrist, of the same revived empire lineage.
Between the 69th and 70th week, there is a prophetic gap: the Church Age, not revealed to Old Testament prophets (Ephesians 3:3–6). The timeline pauses with Christ’s death and resurrection and resumes with the final 70th week.
V. THE FINAL WEEK: THE SEVEN-YEAR TRIBULATION
1. The Covenant with Many
“He shall confirm the covenant with many for one week…”
— Daniel 9:27
The Antichrist will confirm (or cause to prevail) a treaty, likely involving Israel’s peace and Temple access. This marks the start of the final seven years — the 70th week.
2. Midpoint Betrayal: Abomination of Desolation
“…in the midst of the week he shall cause the sacrifice and the oblation to cease…”
— Daniel 9:27
At 3½ years, Antichrist will break the covenant, stop Temple sacrifices, and set himself up as God (2 Thessalonians 2:3–4; Matthew 24:15).
This midpoint marks:
The Great Tribulation (Matthew 24:21)
The Rapture of the Bride
The Wrath of God to follow
3. Desolation Until the Consummation
“…and that determined shall be poured upon the desolate.”
— Daniel 9:27
The final judgments (trumpets and vials) conclude the 70th week, leading to Christ’s return and the Millennial Kingdom.
VI. WHY THE CHURCH IS NOT IN THE 70 WEEKS
The prophecy is specifically about “thy people” (Israel) and “thy holy city” (Jerusalem).
The Church was a mystery not revealed until the New Testament (Eph. 3:3–6).
The Church was born after the 69th week and will be raptured before the wrath of the 70th week concludes.
VII. THEOLOGICAL SIGNIFICANCE AND END-TIME FRAMEWORK
The 70th week = 7-year tribulation, split into:
First 3½ years: Satan’s war on the saints (Rev. 13:7; Dan. 7:25)
Second 3½ years: God’s wrath on the wicked (Rev. 15–16)
The midpoint of Daniel’s 70th week is the pivot of end-time events.

CHAPTER 3: Israel, the Church, and God’s End-Time Covenant Plan
Subtitle: Distinct but Intertwined in the Divine Blueprint
I. INTRODUCTION: THE PROPHETIC CLOCK OF ISRAEL
In God’s redemptive story, Israel is the prophetic clock, and the Church is the mystery body formed between the ticks. While some have claimed the Church has “replaced” Israel, Scripture affirms otherwise. The promises made to Abraham, Isaac, Jacob, and David remain unrevoked (Romans 11:29). The Church and Israel are two distinct peoples, both beloved and central to God's end-time dealings.
“When ye see these things come to pass, know ye that the kingdom of God is nigh at hand.”
— Luke 21:31
II. ISRAEL’S PAST: CHOSEN, COVENANTED, SCATTERED
God called Abraham out of Ur to become a great nation (Genesis 12:1–3). Through Abraham, came Isaac, Jacob (renamed Israel), and the twelve tribes. God’s covenant included:
A land (Genesis 15:18)
A people (Genesis 17:4–8)
A Messianic promise (Genesis 22:18)
Israel was chosen to be a kingdom of priests (Exodus 19:6), but fell repeatedly into idolatry and rebellion. Eventually, they were scattered among the nations (Deuteronomy 28:64–66), just as the prophets foretold.
Yet God’s covenant remained intact. He promised to regather them in the latter days (Ezekiel 36:24–28).
III. ISRAEL’S RESTORATION: THE VALLEY OF DRY BONES
In Ezekiel 37:1–14, God gave a prophetic vision of Israel’s national resurrection:
“Son of man, can these bones live?”

This vision is fulfilled in stages:
- Reassembly of bones – Political restoration (Israel became a nation in 1948)
- Sinews and flesh – Cultural and social restoration
- Breath enters – Spiritual revival (yet to come fully)
Israel’s rebirth in 1948 was not just a geopolitical event — it was a prophetic sign that God's clock had restarted.
“When the LORD shall build up Zion, he shall appear in his glory.”
— Psalm 102:16
IV. THE PARABLE OF THE FIG TREE: ISRAEL AND THE GENERATION CLOCK
Jesus said:
“Behold the fig tree, and all the trees...when ye see these things come to pass...know ye that the kingdom of God is nigh at hand.”
— Luke 21:29–31
The fig tree is consistently a symbol of national Israel (Hosea 9:10; Jeremiah 24:5). The budding of the fig tree points to the re-emergence of Israel as a nation.
The generation that witnesses this will also witness the return of Christ (Matthew 24:32–34). We are living in that generation.
V. THE CHURCH: A MYSTERY REVEALED
The Church was not foretold in the Old Testament. Paul calls it a “mystery”:
“That the Gentiles should be fellowheirs, and of the same body...”
— Ephesians 3:6
Jesus declared, “I will build my church” (Matthew 16:18), initiating a new body on the Day of Pentecost, composed of Jew and Gentile in one Spirit (1 Corinthians 12:13).
The Church is distinct from Israel, with a different:

VI. THE CHURCH IN THE LAST DAYS
While Israel is the timepiece, the Church is the focus of the present age. But a time is coming when:
“...the fulness of the Gentiles be come in.”
— Romans 11:25
At that point, the Church will be raptured, and God will resume His covenant dealings with Israel, especially during the final 70th week of Daniel.
VII. THE 144,000 JEWS: ISRAEL’S EVANGELISTS IN THE TRIBULATION
In Revelation 7 and 14, we read of 144,000 sealed servants from the 12 tribes of Israel:
“And I heard the number of them which were sealed...of all the tribes of the children of Israel.”
— Revelation 7:4
These are not symbolic—they are literal Jews. During the first half of the Tribulation, while the Church faces persecution, these Jewish evangelists proclaim the gospel with power. This affirms:
God's covenant with Israel remains
God uses both Israel and the Church to fulfill His global redemptive mission
VIII. ISRAEL’S NATIONAL SALVATION AT CHRIST’S RETURN
Paul writes:
“And so all Israel shall be saved: as it is written...”
— Romans 11:26
This refers not to every Jew in history, but to the remnant that survives the Tribulation and calls upon the Lord at His return:
“They shall look upon me whom they have pierced...”
— Zechariah 12:10
This moment happens after the Rapture, during the Second Coming. Israel will see Jesus as Messiah, and as a nation, they will repent and be saved — fulfilling all the promises of Ezekiel, Isaiah, and Jeremiah.
IX. THE BRIDE AND THE FRIEND OF THE BRIDEGROOM
Just as John the Baptist called himself the friend of the Bridegroom (John 3:29), so Israel is the friend, and the Church is the Bride.
Jesus came first to Israel, but the Bride is composed of all who believed during the Church age, both Jew and Gentile. Israel’s role will be glorious — but distinct from the glorified Bride who reigns with Christ.
X. CONCLUSION: TWO PEOPLES, ONE PLAN
God’s covenant faithfulness ensures that neither Israel nor the Church are forgotten. In the last days:
Israel will face great tribulation, but will be saved and restored.
The Church will be raptured and glorified.
Both will fulfill their divinely appointed roles in the Millennium.
God’s plan is not divided — it is harmonious and unified in Christ. The mystery revealed in this age brings the fullness of God’s redemptive wisdom into view.

CHAPTER 4: The First 3½ Years – The Tribulation of the Saints
Subtitle: Satan's War Against the Church Before the Wrath of God
I. INTRODUCTION: TRIBULATION IS NOT WRATH
In rightly dividing the end-time timeline, we must distinguish between Satan’s persecution of the saints and God’s wrath poured upon the wicked. The first 3½ years of Daniel’s 70th week are marked by the rise of the Antichrist and a global campaign of persecution against true believers. This period is biblically known as the “tribulation of those days” (Matthew 24:29), not the “day of the Lord” which follows.
The Church is not appointed to wrath (1 Thessalonians 5:9), but she is appointed to tribulation (Acts 14:22). Understanding this distinction is critical to our eschatology and preparation.
II. THE BEAST MAKES WAR WITH THE SAINTS
“And it was given unto him to make war with the saints, and to overcome them...”
— Revelation 13:7
The Antichrist, empowered by the dragon (Satan), rises in global political and religious authority. He targets the faithful Church for destruction:
Overcomes them physically, not spiritually
Silences public preaching
Initiates persecution through laws, mandates, and martyrdom
Uses deception and lying wonders (2 Thess. 2:9–10)
“They loved not their lives unto the death.”
— Revelation 12:11
The faithful remnant overcomes not by survival, but by faithfulness unto death.
III. THE TWO WITNESSES AND PROPHETIC MINISTRY
“And I will give power unto my two witnesses, and they shall prophesy a thousand two hundred and threescore days…”
— Revelation 11:3
During this same 3½-year period (1,260 days), God empowers two anointed witnesses, often identified with Moses and Elijah or a typological ministry in their spirit.
Their roles:
Preach repentance
Demonstrate signs and wonders
Call down judgments
Stand as a witness before nations
They are killed by the Beast and resurrected after 3½ days, signaling the escalation toward the midpoint crisis.
IV. THE PERSECUTION OF THE SAINTS AND THE OVERCOMING CHURCH
This is a period when:
True believers are tested by fire (1 Peter 4:12–13)
The Church goes underground in many regions
House churches and spiritual family networks multiply (Revelation 3:8)
Martyrdom becomes a prophetic sign, not a tragedy (Revelation 6:9–11)
“Be thou faithful unto death, and I will give thee a crown of life.”
— Revelation 2:10
This tribulation is not a defeat, but a refining fire that perfects the Church.
V. THE GREAT MULTITUDE: TRIBULATION SAINTS UNDER THE ALTAR
“These are they which came out of great tribulation…”
— Revelation 7:14
John sees a vast multitude before the throne who were martyred during this time. They are clothed in white robes and worship the Lamb. This confirms that the first half of the Tribulation is characterized by:
Evangelism
Persecution
Suffering
Purification
VI. THE PARABLE OF THE TEN VIRGINS: THE MIDNIGHT CALL
“And at midnight there was a cry made, Behold, the bridegroom cometh; go ye out to meet him.”
— Matthew 25:6
This parable aligns perfectly with the midpoint rapture view:
All ten virgins represent those who expected the Bridegroom.
Only five had oil (Holy Spirit-filled, watchful, sanctified).
When the call came, there was no more time to prepare.
The door was shut; the foolish were left behind.
This speaks of a prepared, perfected Church being caught up before God's wrath begins.
VII. THE ROLE OF THE 144,000 DURING THIS PERIOD
The 144,000 Jewish servants (Revelation 7:1–8; 14:1–5) are active during this first half:
Protected from harm
Preach the gospel to the nations
Serve as the firstfruits from Israel
Are sealed on their foreheads
Their ministry complements the work of the saints and the two witnesses.
VIII. SPIRITUAL VICTORY THROUGH MARTYRDOM
“And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb, and by the word of their testimony…”
— Revelation 12:11
In this age, victory is not seen in escaping death, but in remaining faithful unto death. The saints bear witness through:
Endurance (Hebrews 10:36)
Bold preaching (Acts 4:29)
Uncompromising holiness (Revelation 3:4)
This is the true remnant, the ready Bride, made pure through fire, awaiting the shout of the archangel.
IX. CONCLUSION: A HOLY REMNANT, A COMING RAPTURE
The first 3½ years are a proving ground for the Church. Those who walk in purity, intimacy, and truth will be counted worthy to escape what follows.
“Watch ye therefore, and pray always, that ye may be accounted worthy to escape all these things...”
— Luke 21:36
At the end of this period, the Antichrist will declare himself as God, desecrate the rebuilt temple, and trigger the final events that lead to the Rapture of the Church and the outpouring of God's wrath.

CHAPTER 5: The Midpoint Shift – The Abomination of Desolation
Subtitle: When the Man of Sin Crosses the Line and the Rapture of the Bride Is Triggered
I. INTRODUCTION: A PIVOTAL TURN IN THE PROPHETIC TIMELINE
The midpoint of Daniel’s 70th week marks the most decisive turning point in eschatology. It is at this juncture—after 3½ years of the Tribulation of the Saints—that the Antichrist steps into open blasphemy, desecrates the holy temple, and begins the Great Tribulation, the second and final half marked by the wrath of God.
Jesus Himself emphasized this event:
“When ye therefore shall see the abomination of desolation, spoken of by Daniel the prophet, stand in the holy place… then shall be great tribulation.”
— Matthew 24:15, 21 (KJV)
This moment divides history into “before and after,” triggering both the rapture of the perfected Bride and the outpouring of God’s wrath.
II. WHAT IS THE ABOMINATION OF DESOLATION?
1. Defined in Daniel’s Prophecy
“…in the midst of the week he shall cause the sacrifice and the oblation to cease, and for the overspreading of abominations he shall make it desolate...”
— Daniel 9:27
The “abomination of desolation” is a profane act of idolatry, desecrating the rebuilt Jewish temple in Jerusalem. The Antichrist will:
Enter the temple
Cease legitimate worship
Set up an image of himself or the beast
Demand global worship
2. Described by Paul
“...the man of sin... sitteth in the temple of God, shewing himself that he is God.”
— 2 Thessalonians 2:3–4
The Antichrist will publicly proclaim himself to be divine, crossing the line from political figure to global false messiah. This moment is the culmination of Satan’s rebellion.
3. Foreshadowed in History

The prophetic timeline consistently emphasizes 3½ years, or 1,260 days, or 42 months, as a key division:
The Two Witnesses prophesy for 1,260 days (Rev. 11:3)

The woman (faithful remnant) flees into the wilderness for 1,260 days (Rev. 12:6)
This midpoint marks the end of the Tribulation of the Saints and the beginning of the Wrath of God—called the Great Tribulation (Matthew 24:21).
IV. THE RAPTURE AT THE MIDPOINT: THE BRIDE TAKEN UP
