Devotional Lesson Week 8: Transformative Leadership and Relationship Management

    1. In what area of your life do you feel God is calling you to lead change?
-I feel God is calling me to lead change in my communication style. I will strive to be more patient and understanding in my interactions with others, actively listening to their perspectives and expressing my thoughts with empathy and respect. This will create a more positive and collaborative environment in my relationships.

    2. Think of a recent group decision (in school, church, family, or work). Were everyone's ideas considered fairly? What could you improve next time?
-In a recent decision about our group reports in school, my classmates preferences were not fully considered. To improve next time, I will ensure everyone has a chance to express their ideas without interruption, actively listen to each perspective, and facilitate a discussion that values everyone's input before making a final decision. We could also use a voting system to ensure fairness.

    3. List 3 ways you can show more respect and kindness to classmates, family, or co-workers this week.
•Active listening: I will make a conscious effort to truly listen when others are speaking, showing genuine interest in what they have to say.
•Offering help: I will proactively offer assistance to those who need it, whether it's a small task or a bigger project.
•Expressing appreciation: I will make sure to express my gratitude for the good things people do, both big and small.

    4. Identify one unique quality or skill from a classmate or friend and appreciate them for it.
-My friend, Princess Joy, consistently maintains a positive attitude despite facing numerous academic and social challenges at school. I appreciate her resilience, her unwavering optimism in the face of adversity, and her ability to inspire those around her with her strength and perseverance. Her positive spirit is contagious and serves as a powerful reminder that even amidst difficulties, we can choose to focus on hope and progress. It's inspiring to see her navigate challenges with such grace and determination.

    5. Choose one issue (bullying, dishonesty, gossip, discrimination) you've seen around you. How can you, by God's grace, help bring change to this situation?
-I've noticed some gossip within my friend group. By God's grace, I will choose to be a positive influence by refusing to participate in gossip and instead promoting kindness and understanding. I will actively listen to those involved, encourage them to resolve conflicts directly and peacefully, and model respectful communication. I will also speak up against gossip when I witness it, reminding my friends of the importance of protecting each other's reputations.

    πŸ“ŒFINAL REFLECTION & PRAYER
Lord, here am I. I want to be an instrument of change in my community. Help me to be patient, understanding, and a good listener, so I can effectively address conflicts and promote positive relationships.

    πŸ“Œ STUDENT ACTION PLAN
•Show fairness by actively listening to all sides of an issue before forming an opinion and treating everyone equally, regardless of their background or beliefs.
•Treat someone with dignity by speaking respectfully to all individuals, avoiding judgmental language, and showing empathy towards their feelings and experiences.
•Appreciate diversity by actively seeking out opportunities to learn from people of different backgrounds and cultures, celebrating our differences, and valuing the unique contributions each person brings.
•Be a light by performing acts of kindness and service, offering support to those in need, and spreading positivity and encouragement to those around me.

In what area of your life do you feel God is calling you to lead change?

I think God is calling me to lead change in how I serve others, showing my empathy and care. For those who feel unseen or unheard. My ears are always open for someone who needs someone on their side. I've been there before; I know the feeling of someone who's nothing on her/his side. I know how hurt it is when you need someone and no one is on your side. That's why I'm always checking up on my friends. How's their day, and are they doing well? I am always listening to them and motivating them. By this I can make changes on them and create a positive and connected environment.

Think of a recent group decision (in school, church, family, or work). Were everyone's ideas considered fairly? What could you improve next time?
The recent group decision we made in school was deciding where to go for our activity for our one subject. As their class president, I gave time for them to speak where they want to go and hear each side, the reason why they want to go there. When we gathered all information, we proceeded on voting to be fair and square. Giving time to everyone to be heard is a must. In a group discussion, everyone's opinion is important. We don't need to be biased to someone who is close to us. The voting system is important in every group discussion to ensure fairness.

List 3 ways you can show more respect and kindness to classmates, family, or co-workers this week.

Being mindful—every time we need to be mindful, we shouldn't just focus on ourselves. We should always include the people around us. We are not all the same; we always need to be kind and huwag ng dumagdag sa problem ng iba. We should know how to makiramdam sa ating paligid

Being understanding—we should learn to understand the things in our surroundings. We should always balance the things and the situation. Hanggang maari ay umintindi ka sa mga nangyayari sa paligid mo. Maging mapagpakumbaba at umiwas sa mga bagay na makasisira sa peace of mind natin.

Always show love—make sure that our love is felt by everyone who's important in our lives. We should always express our love and how grateful we are to have them in our lives. Make everyone feel belong and love. Don't be the reason for someone to feel unvalued and not belong to the group.

  4. Identify one unique quality or skill from a classmate or friend and appreciate them for it.

Maybe a unique quality or skill for me was being able to smile even though she's in the middle of a storm in her life. She seems so strong; she always smiles and laughs in front of her friends, but deep inside of her, she's broken. She doesn't want her friends to feel pity towards her. She's the sunshine in the group. She always takes care of everyone, but no one takes care of her. She has a pure heart. Even though she has a heart weighed down by sorrow and emptiness. She keeps on shining. Not everyone can do this. She hates when someone feels unloved. She's so strong to handle those things. Despite the storms in her life, she wants to keep the smile on her face. She always wears the brightest smile and makes everyone around her laugh. If you see her, she looks like she doesn't have any problems in life. This quality amazes me about her.

Choose one issue (bullying, dishonesty, gossip, discrimination) you’ve seen around you. How can you, by God’s grace, help bring change to this situation?

I've noticed some dishonesty. By God's grace, I remain honest and do the right thing. I refuse to join them; instead, I will encourage them to be honest and study well instead of cheating. We should always promote honesty because dishonesty is a sin. We're not just fooling the people around us; we also fool ourselves.

    πŸ“ŒFINAL REFLECTION & PRAYER

Lord, here am I. I want to be an instrument of change in my family and community. I believe that if each family has a better connection to each other, it can easily be easy to socialize with our community. Thank you for all the blessings that you have given to us. Give us more patience to understand and help us to be strong enough. To handle every challenge that you'll give to me and to my family. Lord, I know that you will not let us be alone. May we learn from each other, support one another, and be a source of strength in times of need. Guide our steps, protect us from harm, and fill our lives with your love and grace. Forgive our sin and trespasses Lord. Amen

    Student Action Plan

    This week, I will:
Show fairness by listening to each side of everyone. I will not take any side; I'll be in the middle. I'll respect each option and treat them equally.

Treat someone with dignity by showing respect. Avoid being judgmental and causing someone to be in shame. Don't be a reason for someone's pain.

Appreciate diversity by knowing how to interact with each other. Always show respect and show valuing the difference of each other. Embrace our differences that made us unique from each other.

Be a light by showing kindness, support, encouragement, and positivity towards everyone.

    1. Every time, every where because I am a sinful human being, I commit sins that I commit over and over again, I say I will change but it is hard to control myself to change, I know that God is always calling me to change but sometimes it is really hard to stop myself from making mistakes but at the end of the day I still ask for his forgiveness.
    2. The group that is fair to me is my family, it's not perfect as I say, sometimes it's not fair, but most of the time it's fair, that's why I chose family because first of all they are the ones we spend time with, especially on a daily basis, but in terms of decisions, everyone agrees, we still need to improve a little by not being mean to other members.
    3. 3 ways how show respect.
    1. The first way I show respect to my classmates is by smiling at them because that's how I treat them because even though I'm not close to them, they know that I'm easy on them.
    2. The way I respect my family is by calling them names in a calm and gentle way.
    3. I haven't worked yet, but with my siblings, the way I respect them is the way I talk to them calmly without yelling
    4. I identified one unique quality or skill from my classmates is that they are very creative in everything even at all times even when the task is difficult is that they use their creativity to solve problems.
    5. In gossip, by God's grace, I will help change the situation. First of all, I will change and stop being a gossiper because they will not change if the one who rebukes them is the one who is leading the gossip. You need to change your own behavior before you can change other people.

    Final Reflection and Prayer
Lord, here am I. I want to be an instrument of change in my family. Help me to protect my family and friends every day and every night, so that I will not worry about their safety and bless us always and never tire of constantly asking for forgiveness for the sins we have committed. Amen

This talks about a kind of leadership that helps people become who God made them to be. It follows the example of Jesus, who led with love, understanding, and humility, always bringing out the best in others.

But real leadership also means knowing how to handle relationships well. It’s about building trust, speaking kindly, and dealing with problems honestly and lovingly. Jesus didn’t just teach—He spent time with people, listened to them, and built strong friendships. That’s where real change starts to happen.

Leadership goes beyond simply giving direction—it’s about fostering growth and inspiring lasting change. A truly transformative leader looks past checklists and goals, choosing instead to see and nurture the potential within others, guiding them to become who they were created to be. This kind of leadership reflects the example of Christ, who led with clarity, compassion, and humility, always drawing out the best in those around Him.

However, leadership is not whole without the ability to manage relationships well. It involves nurturing meaningful connections—earning trust, speaking with kindness, and addressing challenges with honesty and love. Jesus didn’t only teach; He walked alongside people, understood their lives, and built deep bonds. It is within these kinds of relationships that true transformation begins to flourish.

DEVOTIONAL LESSON WEEK 8: Transformative Leadership and Relationship Management

πŸ‘‰ In what area of your life do you feel God is calling you to lead change?
•I think God is calling me to make a change in how I value the people around me — like being more intentional with my relationships. Sometimes I get too focused on my own goals and problems that I forget to check in on others. So now, I feel like I need to be more present and emotionally available to the people who matter to me.

✅ Think of a recent group decision (in school, church, family, or work). Were everyone’s ideas considered fairly? What could you improve next time?
•In a recent school group project, not everyone got the chance to speak up. Some voices dominated while others just stayed quiet. Next time, I want to be more proactive in encouraging everyone to share their thoughts — maybe by asking them directly so they feel included and heard.

πŸ‘‰ List 3 ways you can show more respect and kindness to classmates, family, or co-workers this week.

1.Be more patient even when things get stressful — try not to snap easily even if the vibe is a little toxic.

    2. Celebrate even the small wins — like recognizing their effort or saying something like, 'I saw how much you pushed yourself today, and I’m really proud of you.' Sometimes, people just need to feel seen and valued to keep going.

    3. Listen without interrupting — because sometimes people just want someone who will truly listen without judging.

✅ Identify one unique quality or skill from a classmate or friend and appreciate
•One of my closest friends is really caring. Some rare trait I admire about her is how considerate she is, she always makes sure I feel included, and even if we don’t see each other often, being with her still feels like home, and she’s so thoughtful too, because whenever I visit their house, she even asks what dish me and our other friend would like to eat. She also has this strong emotional intuition, like she can tell when something’s off with me even if I don’t say anything. Aside from that, she’s also a really good listener, she never judges and always makes me feel safe when I open up. That kind of energy is so comforting, and I really appreciate it.

✅ Choose one issue (bullying, dishonesty, gossip, discrimination) you’ve seen around you. How can you, by God’s grace, help bring change to this situation?
•I chose gossip because it’s honestly so toxic, especially in school, it ruins friendships and breaks trust. So by God’s grace, I’ll try to stop the conversation when I hear it happening, or change the topic, or speak up to defend the person being talked about. I want to be someone who creates a safe space for others, not someone who adds to the negativity.

    FINAL REFLECTION & PRAYER

πŸ‘‰ Lord, here am I. I want to be an instrument of change in my community. Please help me to be more patient, more understanding, and more open-hearted even when people are different from me or hard to deal with. Teach me to lead with kindness and remind me that real change doesn’t always have to be big and it starts with the small, genuine things I choose to do every day. Amen.

    πŸ“Œ STUDENT ACTION PLAN
    ✅ This week, I will:

Show fairness by actually listening to other people’s opinions before I react like, even if I don’t agree, I’ll try to understand where they’re coming from.

Treat someone with dignity by not brushing off their feelings just because I don’t relate — like hello, we all feel things differently and that deserves respect.

Appreciate diversity by being more open-minded with people who aren't like me — different vibes, different stories, and that’s what makes everything more interesting, right?

Be a light by showing up with kindness, even on days when I’m tired or stressed — kasi sometimes, just being warm and real is enough to make someone’s day feel lighter.

    FRIDAY 9:30 - 10:30 # DEVOTIONAL WEEK 8

In what area of your life do you feel God is calling you to lead change?
    - My whole God temple, every time I see churches it remind me of Him, that I should always do what’s right and avoid wrong doings, but then we’re not perfect only God is. We still commit sin, but we must put in our head and always think of it that even we commit sin, we’re still God servant, that’s why we must start doing what’s good and make it a habit for us to change, believe me, that every time we remember our good actions it remind us that God is good, that even we make sin God still blessed us and love us unconditionally.

Think of a recent group decision (in school, church, family, or work). Were everyone’s ideas considered fairly? What could you improve next time?

    - I remember that on next month we’ll be having a recollection to renew our position in church for us to continue to serve, but then, that day I have to attend class that makes me doubted whether attend that recollection or my class. But somethings sinked in to my head, that they also have important things to do but they choose to attend that activity, they choose to serve, so must I. Maybe next time, I need to trust Him, should not choose but put God first ‘cause in the first place, He did. I should not doubt ‘cause He’s more powerful than others.

List 3 ways you can show more respect and kindness to classmates, family, or co-workers this week.
    - Listen to their feelings/side/thoughts so that they may feel comfortable and respected.
    - Helping them without asking for anything in return.
    – Respecting them in every way.

Identify one unique quality or skill from a classmate or friend and appreciate them for it.
    – Humble, he always puts others before himself, he doesn’t want to hurt anyone. He always chooses to put us first even in difficult situation. Also, He never complains even he’s tired, as long as we’re okay.

Choose one issue (bullying, dishonesty, gossip, discrimination) you’ve seen around you. How can you, by God’s grace, help bring change to this situation?

    - Dishonesty, I always encounter that in my every day life, that also even the important person in our life do it. By God’s grace, I didn’t let myself change it, I always say to Him “Ikaw na po ang bahala”. I can’t change a dishonesty of someone specially if it’s a habit, only God can.

REFLECTION: Transformative leadership and Relationship Management

    - Realized that a person can make changes, not because we can speak and think but because we’re God’s child. Everyone has worth ‘cause He’s the one who create us. A changes must start to ourselves, apply everything first to you then next apply it to other or one’s community, so that they can renew their way of living. They can understand and learn what must they do, but first one must build a strong relationship so that changes would not be hard for people to accept. A person who’s willing to change can be transform to be more better.

    Devotional Week 8

In what area of your life do you feel God is calling you to lead change?
    - I feel like God is calling me to lead change by doing good, following Him, avoiding evil, and respecting the beliefs of each of us. Because as an altar server or sacristan and lector commentator, I must be the one to lead change because if those who serve God lead chaos, greed, and blasphemy against God, nothing good will happen in our lives and for all of us.

Think of a recent group decision (in school, church, family, or work). Were everyone’s ideas considered fairly? What could you improve next time?

Those who sometimes don't cooperate in group activities, don't help each other in group activities. They don't let their groupmates do things on their own, as if it's a burden for them to not have contributed. Maybe they can improve by helping each other or working together, studying the topic carefully or giving their opinions.

πŸ‘‰ List 3 ways you can show more respect and kindness to classmates, family, or co-workers this week.
    - Active Listening: Truly listen when someone is speaking, making eye contact and asking clarifying questions to show you're engaged. Avoid interrupting and focus on understanding their perspective, even if you don't agree.

    - Small Acts of Helpfulness: Offer assistance with a task, even a small one. This could be as simple as helping someone carry something, offering to share notes, or lending a listening ear.

    - Express Appreciation: Take a moment to thank someone for their help, their kindness, or their efforts. A simple "thank you" can go a long way in showing respect and appreciation.

✅ Identify one unique quality or skill from a classmate or friend and appreciate them for it.
She possesses an exceptional ability to remain calm and composed under pressure. I truly appreciate this about her. In stressful situations where others might panic, She maintains her composure, thinks clearly, and offers helpful solutions. This quality is invaluable, and I admire her ability to handle challenging circumstances with grace and effectiveness.

Choose one issue (bullying, dishonesty, gossip, discrimination) you’ve seen around you. How can you, by God’s grace, help bring change to this situation?
I've witnessed gossip firsthand, and it's truly disheartening how easily it can spread and damage relationships. By God's grace, I believe I can help bring change by focusing on a few key things:

Firstly, I can strive to be more mindful of my own words and actions. Before speaking, I'll pause and consider whether what I'm about to say is kind, truthful, and necessary. Gossip often stems from idle chatter, so I'll consciously choose to engage in more positive and constructive conversations. This isn't about being silent, but about choosing my words carefully.

    Final Reflection & Prayer

Lord, here am I. I want to be an instrument of change in my Family. Help me to communicate with love and understanding, to resolve conflicts peacefully, and to create a stronger and more supportive family unit."

    πŸ“Œ Student Action Plan

    This week, I will:

Show fairness by actively listening to different viewpoints during class discussions and considering all perspectives before forming my own opinion.

Treat someone with dignity by offering sincere praise and compliments to a classmate who is often overlooked, acknowledging their strengths and contributions.

Appreciate diversity by learning about a different culture or tradition through online research or conversation with someone from a different background, and sharing what I learn with others.

-for me discrimination And I think the only way to help this issue is to be one in Christ , in that situation it's more comfortable to that person who experiencing discrimination to feel better in a safer environment discrimination is a very alarming issue and also bullying is part of discrimination , when I see others whos in that situation I always praying to God please give her a strength to overcome his challenges

    Final reflection:
While answering those questions and filling up , I realize that we must remain firm to Christ jesus without him we are nothing gods is our provider and also our Manunubos that we must be graceful and thankful with his powerful creation

  16. Transformative leadership is about leading with humility, serving others, and inspiring change that reflects God’s values. A true leader empowers others to grow, lives with integrity, and always seeks to fulfill God’s purpose, demonstrating that leadership is about influence, not authority.

  17. WEEK 8
    JUSTIN SANTOS
    BSCS 1
    CV2 9:30 - 10:30

1.College life is full of pressure to fit in, to achieve, to live up to the world’s standards. But God calls us to something higher: transformation. Real change doesn’t start with your circumstances, it starts with your mindset.

Perhaps you’re being called to lead by example in your friend group, being the one who invites prayer into the conversation, who chooses integrity over convenience, or who stands up when silence feels easier. It could even be in your personal walk—breaking generational cycles of fear, insecurity, or people-pleasing by rooting your identity in Christ.

2.Whether in school, work, church, or family, true leadership reflects God’s character. It’s not about ruling over others, but about including everyone, listening carefully, and valuing their voices. God’s justice, mercy, and humility should shine through our leadership in everything we do.

As leaders, we often find ourselves in situations where decisions must be made. But leadership isn't just about getting things done, it's about making sure everyone is heard and treated fairly.

3.Genesis 1:27 reminds us that every person, regardless of background, appearance, or status, is made in the image of God. This means that every individual has inherent value and worth. When we see others as reflections of God’s image, it changes the way we interact with them. We are called to treat others with dignity, kindness, and respect, acknowledging that their value is not determined by what they can offer but by their creation in the image of God.

Maybe it’s by listening more actively, offering a genuine compliment, or being patient when you’re feeling frustrated. It could also mean offering help when it's least expected or speaking kindly about others, even when they're not around.

4.When we recognize and celebrate the unique strengths of others, we contribute to a more unified and effective community. Just as the body needs all its parts to function properly, so too do we need the diversity of gifts and skills within the body of Christ to thrive and fulfill our collective purpose.

A classmate’s ability to solve problems, a friend’s creativity, or a coworker’s organizational skills. They all have unique characteristics that makes each of them special.

5.You don’t have to be in a position of power to influence those around you. Whether in school, work, or at home, you have a responsibility to bring light to the situations you’re in. When others see your kindness, honesty, and integrity, they witness the heart of God in action.

Whether it’s confronting gossip with truth, showing kindness to someone who feels left out, or simply choosing to act with honesty when others are dishonest, each small action is a step toward making a big difference.

    Final Closing Prayer:
Guide my steps, Lord, and give me the strength to live out Your calling, no matter where You lead. May my actions bring glory to Your name and draw others closer to You. In Jesus' name, Amen.

    Student Action Plan:

    This week, I will:

Show fairness by standing up for someone who is being treated unfairly or by ensuring that everyone’s opinion is heard in a group setting.

Treat someone with dignity by listening to them without judgment and offering a kind word or encouragement when they need it most.

Appreciate diversity by engaging with someone from a different background or culture, seeking to understand their perspective and learning from their experiences.

Be a light by choosing kindness in every interaction, whether it's offering help to a classmate, being patient with a family member, or spreading positivity when things get tough.

    #DEVOTIONAL WEEK 8

I feel God is calling me to lead change in my school by promoting kindness and understanding among classmates, especially those who are often left out.

In a recent group project at school, not everyone’s ideas were considered fairly — some voices were overlooked. Next time, I will make sure everyone has a chance to speak and contribute before making decisions.

    1. Listen attentively when someone is speaking.
    2. Offer help when I see someone struggling.
    3. Use kind and encouraging words, even in stressful situations.

I have classmate that has a gift for making everyone feel included. I’ll appreciate her by telling her how much her kindness impacts the group and by supporting her efforts.

I've noticed gossip among classmates. By God’s grace, I can help change this by not participating in negative conversations, redirecting them to more positive topics, and encouraging others to speak kindly about those who aren’t present.

1.I feel God is calling me to lead change in my attitude and communication. Sometimes I react too quickly or let emotions take over. By renewing my mind through prayer and reflection, I believe I can be more patient, understanding, and kind especially in stressful situations. This change will help me become a better leader among my classmates, friends, and family.

2.Recently, our family had to decide where to spend the weekend. My parents quickly made the decision without really asking what my siblings and I thought. I realized that although they meant well, not everyone had a say. Next time, I will suggest we have a short family meeting where each person can share their ideas before making the final plan. That way, everyone feels included and heard.

3.•I will listen attentively when someone is speaking and avoid interrupting.
    • I will speak kindly and avoid using harsh or sarcastic words, even when I’m frustrated.
•I will offer help to someone who is struggling, even if they don’t ask for it.

4.My friend Maria is very organized and great at time management. I appreciate her ability to keep our group on track and meet deadlines without stress. Her skill helps the whole team succeed.

5.Dishonesty is common in society, especially in situations like corruption, false advertising, and fake news. By God’s grace, I can help bring change by being a person of truth and integrity in my own actions; being honest in small things, refusing to spread misinformation, and standing up against dishonest practices when I see them. I will also encourage others to value truth and transparency in everyday life.

    Final Reflection:
Lord, here am I. I want to be an instrument of change in my school, family, and community. Help me to lead with fairness, show respect to others, embrace diversity, and be a light through my words and actions.

    Student Action Plan:
Show fairness by listening to my classmates’ ideas and making sure everyone gets a chance to speak.

Treat someone with dignity by being kind and respectful, even when we don’t agree.

Appreciate diversity by noticing what makes each person unique and saying something positive about it.

    WEEK 8: TRANSFORMATIVE LEADERSHIP
    1. I feel God is calling me to lead change on being kind to others. Every human being have their own struggles facing in life. God created us not just his child but also to be a blessing to others. If we know someone like our family and friends whose battling something in life. May we offer to them ourselves with love and kindness and to always listen to them. In this way, they can feel that their is someone who are willing to be there for them.
    2. The recent decision I've made was our last outing. Not all of my cousins had the chance to clearly express themselves where they really wanted to celebrate the said simple event. As one of their oldest cousin, next time I will be considerate and give them the opportunity to speak and we will combine the ideas and suggestions of each other for a more better and positive result.
    3.
    * Empathy and Support. Unawain natin ang ating mga kaibigan sa tuwing may pinagdadaanan sila at iparamdam natin sa kanila na we will always be there for them through ups and downs.
    * Gratitude and Appreciation. May we learn to appreciate the people around us, lalo na ang mga palaging nandiyan para sa atin.
    4. My long time and best friend in life, my sister Katrina. I really admire how strong she is in life. Despite her shyness and soft girl side, she successfully survived for first year in college she thought she couldn't. I remember, before she begin college, she cried at me while telling she's afraid at all and thought na hindi niya kakayanin. But by God's grace and with here strong personality, she made it and with that I really appreciate her.
    5. Gossip, anywhere and anytime. One thing I can do to bring change in this situation is by simply not including myself to them.

    Devotional week 8
In what area of your life do you feel God is calling you to lead change?

-Many people feel called to lead change in areas where they see suffering, injustice, or untapped potential—whether that's in their family, community, workplace, or even within themselves.

If I were to reflect on how someone might answer this from a faith perspective, it could be something like:

"I feel God is calling me to lead change in how I engage with my community—fostering unity, compassion, and action where there's division or apathy. I sense a pull to be a bridge-builder and a voice for those who are overlooked.

Think of a recent group decision (in school, church, family, or work). Were everyone’s ideas considered fairly? What could you improve next time?

-Recently, my family made a decision about where to go for vacation. While we did ask everyone for their input, I noticed that the younger kids’ ideas weren’t taken as seriously as the adults’. It felt like the final decision was made before all voices were truly heard. Next time, I’d suggest we create a more intentional space where everyone can share equally—maybe even vote anonymously—so each person feels valued and included.

List 3 ways you can show more respect and kindness to classmates, family, or co-workers this week.

1.Listen actively – Give others your full attention when they speak, without interrupting or checking your phone.
    2. Offer help without being asked – Look for small ways to assist someone who may be overwhelmed or struggling.
    3. Speak words of encouragement – Take a moment to compliment someone’s effort or thank them for something they’ve done.

Identify one unique quality or skill from a classmate or friend and appreciate them for it.

-One unique quality I admire in my friend Samsam is his incredible patience. Whether he's helping someone learn something new or handling a stressful situation, he stays calm and supportive. His steady presence makes others feel heard and valued, and it's something I truly appreciate about him.

Choose one issue (bullying, dishonesty, gossip, discrimination) you’ve seen around you. How can you, by God’s grace, help bring change to this situation?

-One issue I’ve seen around me is gossip. Gossip can break trust, hurt reputations, and create a toxic environment. By God’s grace, I can help bring change by choosing to speak words that build others up instead of tearing them down. I can also kindly redirect conversations that start to turn into gossip and encourage others to do the same. Through prayer and by showing kindness and respect, I hope to model Christ-like behavior that promotes honesty and unity.

    #DEVOTIONALWEEK8

I feel God is calling me to lead change in my personal discipline and spiritual consistency. He’s challenging me to prioritize Him daily through prayer, Scripture, and intentional living. I also feel called to be a positive influence on others by reflecting Christ in my actions and encouraging others in their faith. The change starts within me so I can help inspire change in those around me.

In a recent school group project, not everyone’s ideas were considered fairly, as some voices were overlooked. Next time, we can improve by making sure everyone gets a chance to speak and feels heard, possibly by assigning a facilitator or setting clear discussion guidelines.

    1. Listen actively – Give full attention when others are speaking, without interrupting or being distracted.
    2. Offer help – Support a classmate, family member, or co-worker who might be struggling, even in small tasks.
    3. Speak kindly – Use encouraging and respectful words, especially during stressful situations or disagreements.

One unique quality I admire in my classmate, John Neil, is his ability to stay calm and focused under pressure. Whether it’s during exams or tight project deadlines, he manages to stay composed and encourages the rest of the group to stay positive too. I really appreciate that about him, it reminds me to stay grounded and trust the process, even when things get overwhelming.

One issue I’ve seen around me is gossip, especially in school settings where rumors and hurtful comments can spread quickly. By God’s grace, I can help bring change by choosing not to participate in conversations that tear others down. Instead, I can redirect the topic or speak up gently to remind others to be kind. I can also set an example by speaking positively about others and being someone people can trust not to spread negativity. Through prayer and courage, I believe God can use me to help create a more respectful and uplifting environment.

    FRIDAY 8:00-9:00 am

In what area of your life do you feel God is calling you to lead change?

I feel that God is calling me to lead change in my school and personal life, especially in the way I treat others and influence my environment. There are times when I see negativity, misunderstandings, or lack of respect among classmates, and I realize that instead of just observing, I should take action. Through Romans 12:2, I understand that transformation begins within me. Before I can influence others, I need to change my mindset, attitude, and behavior.

God is calling me to be more patient, understanding, and kind, even when it is difficult. I believe He wants me to become someone who promotes peace, encourages others, and stands for what is right. In simple ways—like speaking kindly, including others, and avoiding negative behavior—I can already start making a difference.

Think of a recent group decision. Were everyone’s ideas considered fairly? What could you improve next time?

In a recent group activity at school, I noticed that not all members were given equal opportunity to share their ideas. Some students were more confident and outspoken, while others stayed quiet, possibly because they felt shy or afraid their ideas would not be accepted. Because of this, the decision we made may not have fully reflected everyone’s thoughts.

List 3 ways you can show more respect and kindness this week
    1. I will be more mindful of my words, making sure I speak kindly and avoid saying things that might hurt others.
    2. I will show appreciation, such as thanking my classmates, friends, or family members for their help and efforts.
    3. I will offer help and support, especially to those who are struggling or feeling left out.

Identify one unique quality or skill from a classmate or friend and appreciate them for it

One of my classmates has a unique ability to lead and organize group activities effectively. They are good at managing time, assigning tasks, and making sure everyone participates. I truly appreciate this quality because it helps our group become more productive and united.

Choose one issue and how you can help bring change

One issue I often notice is gossip. It is very common, especially in school, and it can easily hurt people, damage relationships, and create conflict. Sometimes, gossip may seem harmless, but it can spread negativity and misunderstanding.

By God’s grace, I can help bring change by choosing not to participate in gossip. Instead, I will try to change the topic or speak positively about others. If possible, I will gently remind my friends that gossiping is not right and can hurt others. I will also try to be someone who listens and understands rather than judges.

    • In what area of your life do you feel God is calling you to lead change?

    - I believe God is guiding me to make a change in how I treat myself, especially in moments when I feel insecure or not good enough. Instead of focusing on my weaknesses, I want to learn to see my worth the way God sees me. By doing this, I can also inspire others to be more confident and stop comparing themselves to others.

    • Think of a recent group decision. Were everyone’s ideas considered fairly? What could you improve next time?

    - In our recent group decision, I realized that we focused more on choosing the fastest idea rather than the best one. Some members didn’t get the chance to explain their suggestions fully. Next time, I want to suggest that we take a little more time to hear each idea properly and maybe even combine good ideas instead of choosing just one.

This module helped me understand that being a leader is not just about being in charge, but about creating positive change starting within myself. I learned that fairness, respect, and kindness are very important in building strong relationships with others. It also reminded me that everyone is unique and valuable because we are all created by God.

I realized that even in simple ways, like listening to others or avoiding gossip, I can already become a good example. This lesson inspired me to be more mindful of my actions and to treat others with dignity. Overall, this module encouraged me to become a better person and a leader who reflects God’s love in everyday life.

    1. Leading Change
Question: In what area of your life do you feel God is calling you to lead change?
    - I feel called to lead change in how I manage my time and priorities. Often, I prioritize what is easy over what is important. Leading change here means modeling a life of discipline—not just for my own success, but to be more available and reliable when others need help or leadership.

    2. Group Decisions and Fairness
Activity: Think of a recent group decision. Were everyone’s ideas considered fairly? What could you improve next time?

-In a recent group meeting for a class project, the decision was made by the most vocal members, and a few quieter students didn't get to share their perspectives. Next time, I can improve by actively "opening the floor"—specifically asking those who haven't spoken yet for their thoughts before we finalize a plan. This ensures the "power of teamwork" includes everyone's unique input.

    3. Showing Respect and Kindness
Activity: List 3 ways you can show more respect and kindness this week.
    1. Practice Active Listening: When a classmate or family member is speaking, I will put away my phone and give them my full attention to show their words have value.
    2. Offer Words of Encouragement: I will make a point to send a short message or tell a co-worker "great job" on a specific task they completed well.
    3. Offer Practical Help: If I see someone struggling with a heavy load or a difficult assignment, I will ask, "How can I help you with that?" instead of just walking by.
    4. Appreciating Others

Activity:Identify one unique quality or skill from a classmate or friend and appreciate them for it.

    - I want to appreciate my friend for their patience and ability to explain complex things simply. They have a gift for making others feel capable rather than confused, which is a rare and honorable quality. I will tell them today how much I value that about them.

    5. Addressing Social Issues
Activity: Choose one issue (bullying, dishonesty, gossip, discrimination). How can you help bring change?
    Issue: Gossip.
Action Plan: By God’s grace, I can help bring change by refusing to participate in or listen to negative talk about others. If a conversation turns toward gossip, I will try to steer it back to something positive or gently say, "I’d rather not talk about them when they aren't here." Leading by example in integrity helps create a culture of honor rather than one of division.

  41. 1. Where I sense God calling me to lead change
I believe God is asking me to transform the way I relate to others by growing in patience and empathy. Instead of reacting quickly or making snap judgments, I want to pause, seek to understand, and respond with grace so my actions point others toward kindness.

    2. Recent group decision: fairness and how to improve
In a recent group task, louder voices dominated and some ideas went unheard. To do better next time, we can use a simple structure invite each person to speak, appoint a timekeeper or facilitator, and practice listening without interrupting so every contribution is respected.

    3. Three practical ways I will show more respect and kindness this week
Listen without interrupting and give people my full attention before replying.
Offer help when someone seems overwhelmed, even if it’s a small task.
Choose encouraging words and refuse to join in gossip or negative talk.

    4. A note of appreciation for a friend or classmate
I’m grateful for a friend who is consistently responsible and hardworking. Their steady commitment motivates me to be more disciplined and to take my responsibilities seriously.

    5. Addressing gossip: how I can help bring change
When gossip starts, I will decline to participate, gently steer the conversation to something constructive, and speak up for anyone being unfairly discussed. By modeling honesty and kindness in my words, I hope to influence others to do the same.

    PART 1: UNDERSTANDING TRANSFORMATIVE LEADERSHIP

    Reflection Question:
In what area of your life do you feel God is calling you to lead change?
    > I feel like God is calling me to lead change in how I respond to situations and people. Instead of reacting based on emotions or what’s easy, I want to be more calm, understanding, and intentional. I think change starts in how I carry myself every day.

    PART 2: FAIRNESS AND INCLUSIVITY

    Activity:
Think of a recent group decision (in school, church, family, or work). Were everyone’s ideas considered fairly? What could you improve next time?
    > In a recent group situation, I noticed that we didn’t always get to express our thoughts as much, and we just went along with the flow to keep things smooth. I understand why, but I feel like there’s still room for better balance. Next time, I want to be more intentional in sharing ideas respectfully and making sure there’s space for everyone’s voice, including ours.

    > One thing I’ve noticed is how easy it is to just stay quiet and go along with things. I think for me, change starts in small ways, like being more real about what I think and not just agreeing for the sake of it. I don’t have to make it a big deal, but at least I’m not just following along all the time.

    πŸ“Œ FINAL REFLECTION
    > Lord, here am I. I want to be an instrument of change in the people and places around me. Help me not just go along with what’s easy, but to slowly become someone who stands for what is right in a calm and genuine way. Help me to be more mindful of my actions and grow into someone who chooses what is right even in small decisions.

    πŸ“Œ STUDENT ACTION PLAN
Show fairness by not just going with whatever others decide without thinking about it.

Treat someone with dignity by just being normal and respectful in how I deal with people.

    DEVOTIONAL WEEK 8
    1. In what area of your life do you feel God is calling you to lead change?
I believe God is calling me to lead change in my family by being a good role model to my younger sister. Through my actions, words, and discipline, I can show her the importance of living with honesty, kindness, and faith. By setting an example in how I study, respect our parents, and treat others, I hope to inspire her to grow in character and walk closer with God.

    2. Think of a recent group decision (in school, church, family, or work). Were everyone’s ideas considered fairly? What could you improve next time?
In a recent group activity, we had to decide on the topic for our project. Most of us agreed quickly, but I noticed that some members stayed quiet and didn’t share their suggestions. Even though the decision turned out fine, it could have been more balanced. Next time, I will encourage those quieter members to speak up and make sure we listen to everyone’s ideas before finalizing, so the decision reflects fairness and respect for all opinions.

    3. List 3 ways you can show more respect and kindness to classmates, family, or co-workers this week.
This week, I can show respect and kindness by greeting people warmly to make them feel valued, sharing my school notes or resources with classmates who need extra help, and being patient with my family when disagreements arise. These simple actions can strengthen relationships and remind others that they are appreciated and cared for.

    4. Identify one unique quality or skill from a classmate or friend and appreciate them for it.
One of my classmates is very patient when teaching others. I appreciate this quality because it shows humility and a willingness to serve, which inspires me to be more patient too.

    5. Choose one issue (bullying, dishonesty, gossip, discrimination) you’ve seen around you. How can you, by God’s grace, help bring change to this situation?
I have seen bullying happen, where some people are spoken to or treated in ways that hurt their feelings. By God’s grace, I can help bring change by showing kindness, offering encouragement, and reminding others to treat each person with respect. I can also set an example by choosing words that uplift and by standing for what is right in a gentle way. With God’s help, even small acts of care can make relationships more positive and safe.

    STUDENT ACTION PLAN
This week, I will show fairness by letting everyone in our group activity share their ideas and making sure each person has a role they can do well. I will treat others with dignity by speaking politely and by appreciating their efforts. I will appreciate diversity by noticing the unique talents of my friends and encouraging them to use those gifts. Lastly, I will be a light by choosing kindness when I face negativity, like helping someone who feels discouraged.

    PERSONAL RESPONSE
Lord, here am I. I want to be an instrument of change in my family, especially by being a good example to my younger sister. Help me to lead with patience, kindness, and discipline, so that through my actions she may see Your love and guidance. Devotional Lesson Week 8: Transformative Leadership

    1. In what area of your life do you feel God is calling you to lead change?
I believe God is calling me to become a better influence in both my school and personal life. There are times when people easily spread negativity, judge others, or ignore those who feel left out, and I want to help create a more positive and respectful environment instead. I want to improve the way I communicate with others and become someone who encourages, listens, and helps rather than discourages people. Even through simple actions, I believe I can make a difference and reflect good values to those around me.

    2. Were everyone’s ideas considered fairly? What could you improve next time?
In the group decision I experienced, not everyone was able to express their ideas equally because some members were more confident in speaking while others stayed quiet. Because of this, a few opinions were not fully heard or considered. Next time, I can help improve the situation by encouraging quieter members to share their thoughts and by making sure everyone is given the chance to participate. I also learned that being fair means listening carefully and respecting different opinions before making a final decision.

    3. List 3 ways you can show more respect and kindness this week.
I can show more respect and kindness by speaking politely and avoiding hurtful words, especially during stressful situations. I can also help classmates, friends, or family members whenever they need support, even in small ways. Lastly, I can become more patient and understanding toward others because everyone is dealing with different struggles that may not always be visible.

    4. Identify one unique quality or skill from a classmate or friend and appreciate them for it.
One of my classmates is very creative and always contributes helpful ideas during group activities and discussions. I appreciate how they use their creativity to make our work more organized and interesting. Their ability to think differently helps the whole group perform better, and it also motivates others to participate more confidently.

    5. How can you help bring change to a problem like bullying, gossip, dishonesty, or discrimination?
I can help bring change by choosing not to participate in negative behavior and by treating others with kindness and fairness. Instead of joining gossip or judging people quickly, I should learn to understand and respect others more. I can also encourage my friends to do the same and stand up for people who are being treated unfairly. Even small actions, such as speaking positively and showing respect, can help create a better and healthier environment.

    Final Reflection:
Lord, here am I. I want to be an instrument of change in my school, family, and community. Help me become a person who treats others with kindness, fairness, humility, and respect. Teach me to use my words and actions wisely so I can encourage people and become a positive influence to those around me. Guide me to become a leader who reflects Your love and goodness in everyday life.

    Student Action Plan

Show fairness by listening carefully to everyone’s opinions and treating each person equally during discussions and decisions.

Treat someone with dignity by speaking respectfully, helping them when needed, and being more understanding of their feelings and situation.

Appreciate diversity by recognizing and valuing the different talents, personalities, and ideas of the people around me.

Be a light by setting a positive example through my actions, attitude, and the way I treat others every day.

DEVOTIONAL LESSON WEEK 8: Transformative Leadership and Relationship Management
In what area of your life do you feel God is calling you to lead change?
•I believe God is calling me to improve the way I value and care for the people around me, especially in my relationships. There are times when I become too focused on my own concerns and responsibilities that I forget to check on others. Because of this, I feel challenged to become more present, understanding, and emotionally supportive to the people who are important to me.

Think of a recent group decision (in school, church, family, or work). Were everyone’s ideas considered fairly? What could you improve next time?
•During one of our recent school group activities, not everyone was able to express their ideas equally. Some members talked more while others stayed silent. Next time, I want to encourage everyone to participate by giving each person the opportunity to share their thoughts so they will feel included, respected, and heard.

List 3 ways you can show more respect and kindness to classmates, family, or co-workers this week.
Practice more patience during stressful situations and avoid reacting negatively even when the environment becomes difficult.
Appreciate even small achievements by recognizing people’s efforts and encouraging them with kind and uplifting words.
Listen attentively without interrupting because sometimes people simply need someone who will genuinely listen and understand them.

Identify one unique quality or skill from a classmate or friend and appreciate it.
•One of my closest friends which is Jana has a very caring and thoughtful personality. What I admire most about her is how considerate she is toward others. She always makes sure that I feel included, and even if we do not see each other often, being with her still feels comforting and familiar. She is also very thoughtful because whenever I visit their house, she asks me and our other friend what food we would like to eat. Another thing I admire is her emotional sensitivity since she can easily notice when something is bothering me even if I do not say anything. She is also a good listener who never judges and always makes me feel safe whenever I open up. I truly appreciate her kindness and comforting presence.

Choose one issue (bullying, dishonesty, gossip, discrimination) you’ve seen around you. How can you, by God’s grace, help bring change to this situation?
•I chose gossip because it creates negativity, destroys trust, and damages relationships, especially in school. By God’s grace, I will try to avoid participating in gossip and encourage others to stop as well. If I hear someone being talked about unfairly, I will try to defend that person or change the topic. I want to become someone who promotes kindness, understanding, and a safe environment for others.

    FINAL REFLECTION & PRAYER
Lord, here I am, willing to become an instrument of positive change in my community. Please help me become more patient, understanding, and compassionate toward others, especially those who are different from me or difficult to deal with. Teach me to lead with kindness and remind me that meaningful change often begins with small and sincere actions done every day. Amen.

    STUDENT ACTION PLAN
    This week, I will:
•Show fairness by listening carefully to other people’s opinions before reacting, even when I do not fully agree with them.
•Treat others with dignity by respecting their feelings and experiences, even if they are different from my own.
•Appreciate diversity by becoming more open-minded toward people with different personalities, perspectives, and backgrounds.

In a recent group decision in school, not all ideas were fully heard because some members were more dominant in speaking. Next time, I think I can help by encouraging quieter members to share their thoughts and making sure everyone’s opinion is respected before we decide.

This week, I can show more respect and kindness by (1) greeting my classmates, family, ,friends or random people politely, (2) listening patiently without interrupting when others are speaking, and (3) offering help even in small tasks without expecting anything in return.

One quality I admire in a classmate is their patience and willingness to help others understand lessons. I appreciate them because they never get tired of explaining things, even when others find it difficult.

One issue I often see is gossip. By God’s grace, I can help change this by choosing not to participate in it, gently walking away when it starts, and instead encouraging others to speak positively about people.

    STUDENT ACTION PLAN
This week, I will intentionally practice kindness, active listening, and positive speech. •In what area of your life do you feel God is calling you to lead change?
I feel God is calling me to lead change in my school group projects. Sometimes classmates lose motivation or don’t cooperate well, and I believe God wants me to encourage them, set a good example, and help us work together with fairness and respect.

•Think of a recent group decision (in school, church, family, or work). Were everyone’s ideas considered fairly? What could you improve next time?
During our recent youth gathering at church, we had to decide what activity to do for fellowship. Some suggested games, others wanted a Bible study, and a few preferred music practice. Honestly, not everyone’s ideas were considered fairly because we quickly went with the majority choice. Next time, I can help improve by giving each youth member a chance to share their idea, encouraging us to have a balanced plan so everyone feels included and valued.

•List 3 ways you can show more respect and kindness to classmates, family, or co-workers this week.
    1. Listen carefully when someone is speaking instead of interrupting.
    2. Say “thank you” and appreciate small efforts from family and friends.
    3. Avoid gossip and speak kindly about others, even when they are not around.

•Identify one unique quality or skill from a classmate or friend and appreciate them for it.
I have this friend who is very optimistic in life. He always incorporates God’s Word in every aspect of what he does, whether in studies, decisions, or conversations. He encourages me through Scripture whenever I feel stressed or discouraged, reminding me to trust God’s plan. I really appreciate his faith and positivity because it inspires me to grow stronger in my own walk with the Lord.

•Choose one issue (bullying, dishonesty, gossip, discrimination) you’ve seen around you. How can you, by God’s grace, help bring change to this situation?
I choose gossip. By God’s grace, I can stop joining in gossip, remind my friends to focus on positive talk, and instead encourage conversations that build others up rather than tear them down.

    Personal Response:

    πŸ“Œ REFLECTION QUESTIONS

    1. In what area of your life do you feel God is calling you to lead change?

The area of my life that I feel God is calling me to lead change is my lack of self-trust. Many times, I ask myself if I can do it or if I should just quit. I felt like giving up, especially on my course. Because I was so confused, I talked to God and asked for a sign if this course is really for me. God answered in a different way and showed me that I belong here. Now, I try my best to trust myself more. Even when it’s hard, I always remember that He is with me.

    2. Think of a recent group decision (in school, church, family, or work). Were everyone’s ideas considered fairly? What could you improve next time?

A recent group decision I had was with my friends for our Rizal subject. Our teacher asked us to make a vlog. We talked and shared ideas on how to make it better. One thing I can improve is being a better listener. We all have different ideas, and it’s important to hear what everyone wants to say.

    3. List 3 ways you can show more respect and kindness to classmates, family, or co-workers this week.

    • Listening to my friends when they have problems in life.
    • Helping my father with whatever he needs.
    • Telling my friends that they are doing enough and they are doing great.

    4. Identify one unique quality or skill from a classmate or friend and appreciate them for it.

One unique quality of my friends is that they are always there for me. Whenever I have a problem, they listen to me, even if it’s just a small thing. Sometimes I really need someone to talk to so I don’t feel so down. I feel very lucky to have them, and I thank God for giving me friends like them.

    5. Choose one issue (bullying, dishonesty, gossip, discrimination) you’ve seen around you. How can you, by God’s grace, help bring change to this situation?

The issue I choose is discrimination, especially the way some women are treated as if they are not human. It is very painful for me to see other women like me being hurt. Even if people think we are weak, we are still human beings who feel pain. By God’s grace, I want to speak up and say that women should not be hurt. Instead, we should be respected dahil "BABAE KAMI,HINDI BABAE LANG". I want to help bring change by standing up for our rights and showing others that every woman deserves to be treated with dignity and love, just as God intended.

    πŸ“Œ FINAL REFLECTION

Lord, here I am. I want to be an instrument of change for others. Help me to trust myself as much as You trust me.

    πŸ“Œ STUDENT ACTION OLAN

    • Show fairness by being a listener to others. I want to listen to what they want to say and give them the freedom to speak.

    • Treat someone with dignity by treating them with respect, because I know the Lord created us all equal and no one is superior to another.

    • Appreciate diversity by respecting God's creatures. I will honor the unique way He made every person and everything around us.

    • Be a light by encouraging others that they can do it. I will remind them that they are enough and that the best thing they can do is trust God and trust themselves.

‎πŸ‘‰ In what area of your life do you feel God is calling you to lead change?

‎I believe God is calling me to bring meaningful change in how I handle my studies and how I view my own abilities. In terms of academic discipline, I often struggle with procrastination, inconsistent study habits, and waiting until the last minute to complete tasks. God is leading me to develop better time management, consistency, and focus—to treat my education as a responsibility and a gift from Him, doing everything with excellence and dedication.

‎Regarding lack of self-trust, I frequently doubt my skills, second-guess my answers, and hesitate to share my ideas or take on leadership roles because I fear making mistakes or being judged. God is teaching me that my abilities come from Him, and He has equipped me with everything I need to succeed. He is calling me to replace fear and insecurity with confidence rooted in Him—to trust that He will guide me, strengthen me, and use my efforts for good. Leading change here means choosing to be consistent in my studies and believing that I am capable, because God is with me.

    ‎

‎✅ Think of a recent group decision (in school, church, family, or work). Were everyone’s ideas considered fairly? What could you improve next time?

‎Recent Group Activity: Our Rizal Project

‎During our recent Rizal Project, we discussed and planned the output together, and we did listen to each other’s suggestions. However, looking back, I realize that not every idea was explored or considered deeply enough. Some members were quiet, and we moved quickly to decide without ensuring everyone truly agreed or understood the plan.

‎What I could improve next time is planning with sufficiency and better organization. We rushed the preparation phase, which caused confusion later on regarding tasks, deadlines, and content.

    ‎
‎πŸ‘‰ List 3 ways you can show more respect and kindness to classmates, family, or co-workers this week.

    ‎1. Listen attentively without interrupting.
‎2. Speak gently and use encouraging words.
‎3. Offer help and support voluntarily.

    ‎
‎✅ Identify one unique quality or skill from a classmate or friend and appreciate them for it.

‎Being a fast learner. I truly appreciate this quality in my classmates because they are able to understand lessons, instructions, and new tasks very quickly. Whenever our teacher explains a difficult topic or gives us a new project, they grasp the main idea immediately and adapt easily.

    ‎
‎✅ Choose one issue (bullying, dishonesty, gossip, discrimination) you’ve seen around you. How can you, by God’s grace, help bring change to this situation?

‎Gossip is something I often see happening in school or even in casual conversations—people talking about others behind their backs, sharing stories that may not be true, or saying things that hurt someone’s reputation and feelings. It creates division, mistrust, and pain among friends and classmates, and it goes against God’s commandment to love one another.

‎When someone starts gossiping, I will choose not to participate. I will politely change the topic or tell them gently that we should not talk about people that way.
‎If I hear something untrue or hurtful, I will correct it respectfully and defend the person being talked about

‎Lord, here am I. I want to be an instrument of change in my school, family, and community. Help me to overcome my weaknesses in academic discipline and self-doubt, to listen to others with an open heart, to speak words that build up rather than tear down, and to lead with integrity, kindness, and courage. Help me to trust that You have equipped me with everything I need to make a positive difference, no matter how small my actions may seem. Teach me to value every person I meet, to stand against wrongdoings like gossip and unfairness, and to always reflect Your love and truth in everything I do.

    ‎πŸ“Œ Student Action Plan

    ‎ This week, I will:

‎Show fairness by ensuring everyone’s ideas are heard and considered during group activities or projects, and by dividing tasks equally so that no one carries too much or too little work.

‎Treat someone with dignity by speaking gently and respectfully to everyone, especially to those who are quiet, shy, or often overlooked.

‎Appreciate diversity by getting to know classmates or friends who have different backgrounds, opinions, or abilities than mine.

‎Be a light by refusing to join gossip or negative talk, and instead speaking well of others and encouraging them.

In what area of your life do you feel God is calling you to lead change?

    - I feel that God is calling me to change the way I think and how I see life. Sometimes, I look at situations only from my own view and try to control how things should be done. But God is calling me to start trusting in Him and in others. I should learn how to trust people and learn from them. I believe God wants me to change my perception on life and learn how to accept and trust others. I should let things happen the way they are meant to, allow others to express their opinions freely, and practice giving trust to them.

Think of a recent group decision (in school, church, family, or work). Were everyone’s ideas considered fairly? What could you improve next time?

    - In a recent group decision at school, only one person did the work. I noticed that not everyone’s ideas and suggestions were used or considered. Some were afraid of being corrected, some were passive, and most of us were scared to make the leader feel that we were ignoring her ideas by sharing our own. I noticed that we have different opinions, but we were afraid to speak up. I can help improve this situation by giving each member time to share their ideas and opinions and try to communicate the situation to everyone.

List 3 ways you can show more respect and kindness to classmates, family, or co-workers this week.

    - I can show more respect and kindness to the people around me by (1) offering small acts of kindness, like thanking or greeting them with a smile, (2) giving time for others to share their ideas and stories so they feel seen and heard, and (3) putting myself in their shoes and trying to understand them.

Identify one unique quality or skill from a classmate or friend and appreciate them for it.

    - One quality I appreciate most in my friend is how she treats others with respect, even in situations where people test her patience. I have seen how genuine her heart is and how she controls her emotions so she does not make others feel bad. I can learn from her patience and sincerity in the way she treats people.

Choose one issue (bullying, dishonesty, gossip, discrimination) you’ve seen around you. How can you, by God’s grace, help bring change to this situation?

    - One issue I have seen around me is how people gossip about other people’s lives. By God’s grace, I can help bring change by correcting them and telling them not to do things that could hurt others. I will not join or take part in what they do, and I will not add fuel to the fire. I believe gossip will stop when a mature person hears it. So, by not engaging in any of this, I can somehow help the issue end.

I believe that God is calling me to take the lead in changing how I interact with people, particularly by being more understanding and patient. I want to become someone who offers encouragement and serenity rather than negativity, yet sometimes I respond too soon or become irritated rapidly.

In a recent school group activity, some persons spoke more than others, thus not everyone's opinions were truly heard. Giving everyone an opportunity to speak and respecting their opinions before making decisions are two things I believe we could do better.

Three ways I can show more respect and kindness this week are:
    • Paying close attention to what others are saying rather than interrupting.
    • Offering support to family members or other people in need.
    • Even when I'm stressed or exhausted, I try to be more encouraging and use kind words.

My friend's ability to make others feel included is one special trait I value. When someone is left out, they always try to make them feel included. Since not everyone pays attention to others in that manner, I truly like that.

One issue I’ve seen around me is gossip. People's emotions and friendships might be destroyed by gossip. By God's grace, I can contribute to change by speaking well of others, preventing myself from spreading rumors, and urging my friends to be more truthful and kind.

    1. In what area of your life do you feel God is calling you to lead change?
    - The area of my life where I feel God is calling me to lead change is in my attitude and in the way I handle problems and difficult situations. Sometimes challenges can make me emotional or impatient, but I believe God is teaching me to become more mature, calm, and understanding. I want to learn how to respond with wisdom instead of reacting out of anger or frustration. Through prayer and self-discipline, I hope to become someone who can handle struggles peacefully and positively. I believe that changing my attitude can also influence the people around me in a good way.

    2. Think of a recent group decision (in school, church, family, or work). Were everyone’s ideas considered fairly? What could you improve next time?
    - A recent situation in my family involved asking permission from my parents whenever I want to go somewhere. At first, I did not fully understand why it was important, but I realized that my parents only want to guide and protect me. Their opinions and decisions were based on love and concern for my safety. Next time, I will communicate more respectfully and explain my plans properly instead of reacting negatively. I also want to become more responsible and understanding so that trust and good communication within our family will continue to grow.

    3. List 3 ways you can show more respect and kindness to classmates, family, or co-workers this week.
    1. I will show respect to elders by using polite words such as “po” and “opo” and by speaking to them kindly.

    3. I will obey and help my parents right away whenever they ask me to do something because it is one way of showing love, respect, and responsibility.

    4. Identify one unique quality or skill from a classmate or friend and appreciate them for it.
    - One quality I truly admire in my friend is their ability to keep smiling despite the challenges and struggles they face in life. Even when they feel fragile or emotionally tired, they still choose to stay positive and bring happiness to others. Their strength and resilience inspire me because they continue to move forward with courage and hope. I appreciate how they do not allow difficulties to completely break their spirit. Their smile reminds me that staying strong during hard times can also encourage other people.

    5. Choose one issue (bullying, dishonesty, gossip, discrimination) you’ve seen around you. How can you, by God’s grace, help bring change to this situation?
    - One issue I have seen around me is discrimination. Some people are judged or treated unfairly because of their appearance, background, personality, or status in life. By God’s grace, I want to help bring change by treating everyone with fairness, kindness, and respect regardless of who they are. I also want to avoid judging others and instead encourage acceptance and understanding among people. Through my words and actions, I hope to become someone who promotes unity and compassion. Week 8 : TRANSFORMATIVE LEADERSHIP & RELATIONSHIP MANAGEMENT

Being a student isn't just about passing exams; it’s about growing into someone who can actually make a difference. As I look at the challenges in my community and school, I realize that transformative leadership isn't about being "in charge," but perhaps it’s about changing how I see and treat the people around me. As the lesson suggests, real change has to start from within, specifically by "renewing the mind" to see the value in others.

I feel God is calling me to lead change in how I handle collaboration. Looking back on a past group project, I noticed that while we got the job done, we didn't always listen to the quieter members. To improve, I want to make sure I’m not just pushing my own ideas but actively pulling others in. This week, I’m committing to showing respect by truly listening without interrupting, being the first to offer help when a classmate is overwhelmed, and speaking up with kindness even when I disagree. I recently realized how much I appreciate a friend’s unique talent for staying calm under pressure; it truly reminds us that we all bring different "God-given gifts" to the table.

When it comes to bigger issues like gossip, I’ve seen how it can tear a group apart. By God’s grace, I want to be a "light" by being the one who stops a rumor in its tracks. Instead of joining in, I can choose to highlight someone's strengths, shifting the atmosphere from judgment to encouragement.

All in all, leadership is a daily choice to act with fairness and dignity. When we choose to see the best in others, we create a space where everyone can thrive. "Change doesn't require a loud voice, just a heart that refuses to let someone else's light go unnoticed."

We recently made a vlog about Rizal. Everyone talked and gave their ideas to make our vlog fun, nice, and well-made. All suggestions were heard and considered fairly, and no one was left behind. We combined all good ideas so our work would turn out great. Next time, I can improve by being a better listener. Since we all have different ideas, listening carefully helps me understand everyone’s thoughts well and value what each person shares.

    3. List 3 ways you can show more respect and kindness to
classmates, family, or co-workers this week.

    • I will speak politely and listen carefully when others are talking. I will avoid interrupting people during conversations. This shows respect and good manners to others.

    • I will help my classmates or family members when they need support. I can help them with simple tasks or encourage them when they are having a hard time. Helping others is a way of showing kindness and care.

    • I will avoid saying hurtful words or making fun of others. I will choose to be kind and understanding in the way I speak. This can help make people feel respected and valued.

    4. Identify one unique quality or skill from a classmate or friend and appreciate them for it.

My friend is very good at recitation and speaking in front of the class. I also appreciate their strong attitude even though they are facing many problems in life. They still stay positive, hardworking, and continue doing their best every day. Their strength and confidence inspire me and other people around them.

    5. Choose one issue (bullying, dishonesty, gossip, discrimination) you’ve seen around you. How can you, by God’s grace, help bring change to this situation?

I have seen gossip around me. By God’s grace, I can help by not joining conversations that talk badly about other people. I can also encourage my friends to speak kindly and respect others. In this simple way, I can help create a more positive and peaceful environment.

    πŸ“ŒFINAL REFLECTION & PRAYER

Lord, here am I. I want to be an instrument of change in my school and community. Help me to be kind, honest, and helpful to others every day.

    πŸ“ŒSTUDENT ACTION PLAN

    • This week, I will show fairness by treating all people equally. I will not show favoritism and will be fair in my actions and decisions.

    • This week, I will treat someone with dignity by speaking politely and kindly. I will listen to others and respect how they feel.

    • This week, I will appreciate diversity by respecting other people’s talents and opinions. I will accept that everyone is unique and has different strengths.

    • This week, I will be a light by helping others and doing good things. I will be kind in my actions and try to help those who need it.

I feel God is calling me to lead change in how I treat and influence others. I want to become more patient, responsible, and kind in my daily actions. By setting a good example, I can inspire others to do what is right. Small positive changes can create a big impact.

In our recent group decision, not everyone had the chance to share their ideas equally. Some voices were heard more than others. Next time, I will encourage everyone to speak and listen carefully to each opinion. This will help us make fairer and better decisions.

I can show respect by listening carefully when others are speaking. I can help my classmates or family when they need support. I can also speak kindly and avoid saying hurtful words. These simple actions can make others feel valued.

One of my classmates is very creative and always shares great ideas. Their creativity helps our group improve and think differently. I appreciate their willingness to contribute and help others. It reminds me that everyone has special gifts.

I have seen gossip happen around me, and I want to help stop it. I can avoid joining negative conversations and encourage others to speak kindly. I can also promote honesty and respect in my group. With God’s guidance, I can be a positive example.

As student student, I realize that leadership isn't about being in charge. It's about changing how I see and treat others, by looking for the good in people instead of focusing on their flaws.

Looking back at group projects, I notice we often didn't listen to quieter members. We got the work done, but not everyone felt included. This week, I want to improve by listening without interrupting, offering help when someone struggles, and speaking kindly even when I disagree. I realized everyone has unique strengths. One friend stays calm under pressure, and that's a gift worth appreciating.

Gossip hurts people and divides groups. Instead of joining in, I want to stop rumors before they spread, speak up for others, and highlight someone's strengths. This turns judgment into encouragement.

Leadership is a daily choice. When I choose to see the best in others, everyone gets to shine. I don't need a loud voice, I just need a heart that notices someone's light.

In what area of your life do you feel God is calling you to lead change?
I feel called to lead change in my daily routine by swapping mindless phone scrolling for quiet prayer, showing others it's possible to balance heavy workloads without losing spiritual focus.
Think of a recent group decision (in school, church, family, or work). Were everyone’s ideas considered fairly? What could you improve next time?
In a recent school project, we rushed deadlines and sidelined quieter members. Next time, I will actively pause the discussion to ask for their input so everyone feels valued.

List 3 ways you can show more respect and kindness to classmates, family, or co-workers this week.
Put my phone away and listen fully when someone is talking to me.
Text a stressed friend to let them know I'm praying for them.
Help out with a chore or school task before being asked.
Identify one unique quality or skill from a classmate or friend and appreciate them for it.
I admire a classmate’s ability to stay completely calm when group work gets chaotic, and I’ll text them today to appreciate how that peace keeps the rest of us grounded.
Choose one issue (bullying, dishonesty, gossip, discrimination) you’ve seen around you. How can you, by God’s grace, help bring change to this situation?

    BSBA 2 | CV4 What's in your Bag?
    FRIDAY (1:45-2:45)

πŸ‘‰ In what area of your life do you feel God is calling you to lead change?

I believe that God is calling me to lead change by being a role model who helps others, even in the simplest ways, and by choosing kindness in a world that truly needs it. Along with that, I want to work on being more patient and understanding with the people in my life. My goal is to share God's love through my everyday actions, no matter how small they may seem. Additionally, I want to practice gratitude daily so I can always appreciate the blessings that God has given me.

✅ Think of a recent group decision (in school, church, family, or work). Were everyone’s ideas considered fairly? What could you improve next time?

Looking back at our recent research study, I feel that our group did a good job of listening to one another. Everyone shared their suggestions and ideas, and we made sure to acknowledge each person’s contribution so that the work felt fair. However, I believe we can do even better next time by being more proactive and cooperative. I want us to put more effort into our research and be more productive as a group so we can achieve the best results possible.

πŸ‘‰ List 3 ways you can show more respect and kindness to classmates, family, or co-workers this week.

To show more kindness this week, I am committing to three specific actions. First, I will be more helpful at home by doing chores for my mother and assisting my little sister with her studies. Second, I want to support my friends and classmates by being generous and sharing my notes with those who might need them. Lastly, I want to make sure I never forget to say “thank you” for the little things, and to always acknowledge the hard work and effort that everyone around me is putting in.

✅ Identify one unique quality or skill from a classmate or friend and appreciate them for it.

I really appreciate one of my classmate who takes the initiative to always update our group chat. He constantly remind us about upcoming activities, lessons, and deadlines that we need to finish. This unique quality is so helpful because it keeps me and our other classmates on track, ensuring that we submit our assignments on time and don't miss anything important.

✅ Choose one issue (bullying, dishonesty, gossip, discrimination) you’ve seen around you. How can you, by God’s grace, help bring change to this situation?

Discrimination is an issue I see frequently, both in person and on social media, where people are treated unfairly just for being who they are. By God’s grace, I want to help bring change by standing up for those who are being treated unjustly and being a good example of kindness. I hope to remind and gently correct others by sharing the truth that all of us are created equal by God and deserve to be treated with the same respect.

    Final Reflection & Prayer

Lord, here am I. I want to be an instrument of change in my community. Help me to find light and purpose in everything I do and be a source of encouragement, kindness, and love for the people around me. Amen.

    πŸ“Œ Student Action Plan

    • Show fairness by treating everyone equally.
    • Treat someone with dignity by speaking with respect and acknowledging their worth.
    • Appreciate diversity by respecting and embracing differences.

    1. In what area of your life do you feel God is calling you to lead change?

•I feel that God is calling me to lead change in the way I influence the people around me through my attitude and actions. As a college student, I want to become more patient, responsible, and encouraging so I can positively affect my classmates, friends, and family. I believe God is also calling me to lead by example in staying faithful to Him even when life becomes stressful or distracting. Through small acts of kindness, discipline, and honesty, I hope to inspire others to grow closer to God as well.

    2. Think of a recent group decision (in school, church, family, or work). Were everyone’s ideas considered fairly? What could you improve next time?

•In a recent family decision, we talked about how to divide responsibilities at home because everyone had different schedules. I think most of our ideas were considered fairly since each family member was able to share their opinion before making a final decision. However, there were moments when some opinions were interrupted or not discussed deeply enough. Next time, I would improve the situation by making sure everyone has enough time to speak and by listening more carefully before deciding as a family.

    3. List 3 ways you can show more respect and kindness to classmates, family, or co-workers this week.

3 ways I can show more respect and kindness this week:

•Listen carefully when others are speaking and avoid interrupting them.
•Help classmates or family members when they are struggling with tasks or problems.
•Speak politely and use encouraging words instead of negative comments.

    4. Identify one unique quality or skill from a classmate or friend and appreciate them for it.

•One unique quality I appreciate in my classmate is their creativity. They are very good at making presentations and sharing ideas in a unique and interesting way, which inspires others to do their best as well.

5.Choose one issue (bullying, dishonesty, gossip, discrimination) you’ve seen around you. How can you, by God’s grace, help bring change to this situation?

•Dishonesty is one issue I often see around me, especially when some people lie to avoid consequences or gain something unfairly. By God’s grace, I can help bring change to this situation by being honest in my own actions, even when it is difficult. I can also encourage others to tell the truth kindly instead of judging them immediately. Through prayer and by setting a good example, I can inspire people to value honesty and trust. As a follower of Christ, I believe that living truthfully reflects God’s character and helps build stronger relationships.

    1. In what area of your life do you feel God is calling you to lead change?

I feel that God is calling me to lead change in school through my role as the President of the BEED Department. Being a student leader is not only about having a position, but also about serving others with humility, understanding, and responsibility. I want to become a leader who listens to students’ concerns, encourages unity, and inspires others to do their best despite challenges. There are times when leadership feels tiring and overwhelming, but I believe God placed me in this position for a reason — to be a voice for others, to promote kindness and fairness, and to help create a positive environment where every student feels valued and supported.

    2. Think of a recent group decision. Were everyone’s ideas considered fairly? What could you improve next time?

During our research project, our group had different opinions about what topic and methods we should use. At first, there was tension because everyone wanted their ideas to be followed, and some members felt unheard. Even though we had conflicts and misunderstandings, we still chose to listen to each other and agreed on a decision that would benefit the whole group. In the end, we learned to compromise and work together. Next time, I want us to communicate more calmly, respect each other’s opinions more openly, and make sure every member feels included before making final decisions.

    3. List 3 ways you can show more respect and kindness this week.

    • I will listen carefully when someone is talking instead of interrupting them.
    • I will help classmates or family members when they are stressed or having a hard time.
    • I will avoid gossip and choose words that encourage and uplift others.

    4. Identify one unique quality or skill from a classmate or friend and appreciate them for it.

I am truly thankful for my two best friends since Grade 8 because they have always understood me in ways that no one else could. Through every problem, pressure, and emotional moment, they stayed beside me without judging me. One unique thing about them is their ability to listen and comfort me when I feel overwhelmed. They make me feel safe, accepted, and never alone. Their loyalty, patience, and genuine care are gifts that I will always treasure. Having friends like them reminds me that real friendship is one of God’s greatest blessings.

    5. Choose one issue you’ve seen around you. How can you, by God’s grace, help bring change to this situation?

One issue that deeply affects me is the corruption and political problems happening in the Philippines. It is painful to see how many people continue to suffer because of dishonesty, abuse of power, and leaders who prioritize themselves instead of serving the country. Sometimes it feels frustrating and hopeless, especially when many Filipinos only want a better and peaceful future.

By God’s grace, I believe change can begin with us, especially through voting wisely in the next election. Instead of choosing leaders based on popularity, influence, or money, we should choose people with integrity, compassion, and genuine love for the country. As a student and future educator, I also want to encourage others to become informed, think critically, and stand for truth and justice. Even small actions, like educating ourselves and encouraging responsible voting, can help bring hope and positive change to our nation.

Through prayer and contemplation, I am convinced that I can cultivate greater patience, understanding, and kindness, particularly during challenging moments. This adjustment will assist me in becoming a stronger leader among my peers, friends, and family.

    Week 8: Transformative Leadership

πŸ‘‰ I feel that God is calling me to lead change in the way I treat and encourage other people. Sometimes students become too focused on competition, stress, or personal problems that they forget to show kindness and understanding. I believe God wants me to become more patient, responsible, and supportive to my classmates, friends, and family. Through my words and actions, I can inspire others to stay positive, help one another, and work together peacefully. Even small acts of encouragement and honesty can create a good influence on the people around me.

✅ In a recent group decision in our research activity, everyone was given the chance to share ideas, but some members were more vocal than others. There were times when quieter members were not asked directly for their opinions, so some ideas may not have been fully heard. Next time, I can improve by encouraging every member to speak and by listening more carefully to each suggestion before making a final decision. I also want to help create a respectful environment where no one feels ignored or afraid to share their thoughts.

πŸ‘‰ Three ways I can show more respect and kindness this week are:

    • Listen carefully when others are speaking and avoid interrupting them.
    • Help classmates or family members when they are struggling with tasks or problems.
    • Speak politely and avoid saying hurtful words, even during stressful situations.

✅ One unique quality I appreciate in my classmate is their ability to stay calm and understanding during group work. They are patient when explaining ideas and always try to help everyone understand the task. Because of this attitude, our group becomes more organized and less stressful. Their kindness and teamwork inspire me to become more considerate and cooperative with others as well.

✅ One issue I often see is gossip. Gossip can hurt feelings, destroy trust, and create conflict among friends or classmates. By God’s grace, I can help bring change by refusing to spread negative stories and by encouraging others to speak kindly and truthfully. I can also try to become a peacemaker by avoiding arguments and reminding others to respect one another. πŸ‘‰ In what area of our lives do we feel God is calling us to lead change?
I believe God is calling me to grow in how I value the people around me—by being more intentional in my relationships. At times, I get too focused on my own goals and struggles that I forget to check in on others. Now, I feel the need to be more present and emotionally available to those who matter most.

✅ Think of a recent group decision (in school, church, family, or work). Were everyone’s ideas considered fairly? What could you improve next time?
In a recent school project, not everyone had the chance to share their thoughts. Some voices dominated while others stayed quiet. Next time, I want to be more proactive in encouraging everyone to speak—perhaps by asking them directly so they feel included and valued.

πŸ‘‰ List 3 ways we can show more respect and kindness to classmates, family, or co-workers this week:

    1. Practice patience even in stressful moments—avoiding quick reactions or negativity.
    2. Celebrate small wins—acknowledge effort with words like, “I saw how hard you worked today, and I’m proud of you.”
    3. Listen attentively without interrupting—sometimes people simply need someone to hear them without judgment.

✅ Identify one unique quality or skill from a classmate or friend and appreciate it.
One of my closest friends is deeply caring and considerate. She always makes me feel included, and even when we don’t see each other often, being with her feels like home. She’s thoughtful—asking what dish we’d like whenever we visit—and she has strong emotional intuition, sensing when something is wrong even if I don’t say it. She’s also a wonderful listener, never judgmental, and always makes me feel safe when I open up. That kind of presence is rare, and I truly appreciate it.

✅ Choose one issue (bullying, dishonesty, gossip, discrimination) you’ve seen around you. How can you, by God’s grace, help bring change to this situation?
I choose gossip because it is toxic, especially in school—it breaks trust and damages friendships. By God’s grace, I will try to stop the conversation when I hear it, change the topic, or speak up to defend the person being talked about. I want to create a safe space for others, not add to negativity.

In what area of your life do you feel God is calling you to lead change?
I believe God is calling me to grow in the way I communicate and connect with other people. There are times when I stay quiet because of fear or doubt, but I feel that God wants me to become more confident and courageous. By improving how I express myself, I can inspire others, spread positivity, and build stronger relationships with the people around me.

Think of a recent group decision (in school, church, family, or work). Were everyone’s ideas considered fairly? What could you improve next time?
During a recent group activity in school, only a few members shared most of the ideas while others stayed silent. Because of this, some opinions were not fully heard or considered. Next time, I will encourage everyone to participate and make sure each person is given a chance to speak so the decision will be fair and respectful to all.

List 3 ways you can show more respect and kindness to classmates, family, or co-workers this week.

    1. I will pay attention and listen sincerely when someone is talking.
    2. I will speak kindly and avoid using hurtful words, even when I am upset.
    3. I will help others in simple ways, especially when they are having difficulties.

Identify one unique quality or skill from a classmate or friend and appreciate them for it.
One of my friends is very confident when speaking in front of many people. I admire how they can express their thoughts clearly and encourage others through their words. Their confidence motivates me to believe more in myself and improve my own communication skills.

Choose one issue (bullying, dishonesty, gossip, discrimination) you’ve seen around you. How can you, by God’s grace, help bring change to this situation?
One issue I have seen around me is discrimination. Some people are judged or treated differently because of their appearance, background, or abilities. By God’s grace, I can help bring change by treating everyone fairly and showing respect to all people. I can also stand up for those who are being excluded and encourage others to practice kindness, acceptance, and understanding.

I feel God is calling me to lead change in how I treat and speak to others. Sometimes I can be impatient or quick to judge, and I believe He wants me to be more patient, understanding, and a person who builds people up instead of tearing them down. I want to lead by example in showing love and gentleness, just as Jesus did.

Last week, our class decided on a theme for our group presentation. While most ideas were heard, some of the quieter members didn’t get the chance to share their thoughts fully.

Improvement next time: I will make sure to ask everyone individually, “What do you think?” and create a safe space where no one feels afraid to speak. I will also write down all ideas first before choosing, so nothing gets left out.

    1. Listen fully when someone is talking, without interrupting or checking my phone.
    2. Offer to help without being asked — like carrying things, helping with schoolwork, or assisting with chores at home.
    3. Speak words of encouragement or say “thank you” and “please” more often.

I admire my classmate Rommel for being very patient and calm even when things get stressful or difficult. They always stay composed and help others stay calm too. I appreciate them because they remind me that peace is a great strength, and I want to learn that from them.

    Issue: Gossip and negative talking
When I hear people speaking badly about someone, I will gently say something kind about that person instead of joining in. By God’s grace, I can also remind others that what we say matters and that we are called to speak only what is true, helpful, and kind. I will choose not to pass on rumors and will try to bring peace instead of conflict.

    1. I believe God is calling me to become a positive influence in the lives of others. Many people around us experience feelings of being overlooked, misunderstood, or excluded, especially in school and social settings. I want to grow into someone who listens with empathy, treats others with respect, and helps create an environment where everyone feels valued. Through kindness, patience, and understanding, I hope to inspire others to show the same care and compassion.

Although the outcome was successful, not every voice was heard equally. In the future, I can help create a more inclusive discussion by encouraging everyone to participate, listening attentively to different perspectives, and ensuring that each person feels respected and appreciated.

✅ Identify one unique quality or skill from a classmate or friend and appreciate them for it.

One of my friends has a remarkable ability to remain calm and patient during difficult situations. I appreciate how this quality helps bring peace and encouragement to others, and I am thankful for the positive example they set.
✅ Choose one issue (bullying, dishonesty, gossip, discrimination) you’ve seen around you. How can you, by God’s grace, help bring change to this situation?

I have seen instances of gossip that damage relationships and hurt people's feelings. By God's grace, I can help bring change by refusing to participate in gossip, speaking positively about others, and encouraging honest and respectful communication. I can also pray for wisdom and courage to stand for what is right while showing love and compassion to everyone involved.
