ACCESS MISSION ORIENTATION
International Teams Philippines
WHAT IS ACCESS MISSION TRAINING?
ACCESS Mission Training is the official entry-level missionary preparation program of International Teams Philippines.
It is designed to:
- Mobilize believers for global missions
- Equip future missionaries
- Introduce the mission culture and philosophy of ITeams
- Prepare workers for cross-cultural ministry
- Train ordinary believers to become effective global witnesses
According to ITeams Philippines, ACCESS consists of two phases:
ACCESS 1
An intensive classroom or virtual mission training introducing:
- The identity of ITeams
- Mission philosophy
- Kingdom vision
- Global missions mindset
- Missionary lifestyle
- Cross-cultural preparation
ACCESS 2
A one-week Southeast Asia mission exposure trip in nations like:
- Thailand
- Cambodia
- Malaysia
- Laos
- Vietnam
- Singapore
This phase allows trainees to experience actual mission field exposure under existing mission teams.
The purpose is not merely information —
but transformation.
ITeams believes that missions is not only for pastors or wealthy Christians.
Ordinary believers can become missionaries through faith, training, and obedience.

IT PHILS HISTORY
ITeams Philippines Official Site
International Teams Philippines emerged from the growing realization that Filipinos possess a unique role in world missions.
Over the past 25 years, ITeams has seen Filipino missionaries deployed to many nations worldwide.
The movement developed around:
- Faith-based missions
- Global Filipino identity
- Tentmaking missions
- Mission mobilization
- Southeast Asian outreach
- Church partnership
Historically, the Philippines became one of the largest sources of overseas workers.
ITeams saw this not merely as economic migration —
but as divine positioning.
Instead of asking:
“How can Filipinos survive abroad?”
They began asking:
“How can Filipinos impact nations for Christ?”
This became part of the Global Filipino Dream.
